Chapter 63: World Beneath the sea
Zyle Zehan Vivian and Vanessa said goodbye to Anna Yuqi and Tamra
they were flying back to the dragon clan to take control of the kingdom
now that their uncle had been sealed the seas were left without leadership
as the new kings and queens, they have to put things in order before the wedding and the following quest
"take care of yourselves"
Anna breathed hugging both her sisters "we love you big sis" Vanessa said "we will be back soon"
they were both now carrying their possesions in the pearl their mother
had given them on a necklace around their necks along with their storage crystals
and in true nine-tailed form her two little sisters now
had strong matured auras around them they were stunningly beautiful, confident, powerful, and enlightened gaining all their tails had opened up new levels in cultivation and ability making them the strongest celestials on earth
"I hope the east seas treat you both well," Tamra said hugging her girls tightly
"We have nothing to fear I'm sure we will be fine," Vivian said
"don't worry we will be back soon" Zehan promised with an arm around Vivian's waist
"we will protect them both with our lives" Zyle promised with a smile
the two couples soon took flight flying over the woods to the elevator on the hill and then they were gone
"I'm going to miss them" anna sighed
"they will only be gone a few weeks," Yuqi said comforting her
"thats not very long when you think about it" Tamra added they left the city gates and returned to wolf tower
Vanessa and Vivian flew on a cloud accompanied by their mates over the seas
they had long since left Japan behind and were now traveling over the endless ocean
"I can't wait to take you home and show you everything," Zyle said to Vanessa with a grin "you're going to love it"
"Are we not there yet?" Vivian asked, "I don't mean to be annoying but we have been traveling for some hours now?"
"a few more miles," Zehan said
"Also, you won't be able to use the clouds anymore when you get there we will have to carry you, girls, the rest of the way"
"Tell me about your home Vivian asked Zehan what is it like there? she asked
"It's beautiful," Zehan said "there are various kinds of sea people some
might shock you there's a lot of culture and things to see and do we used to have festivals when our parents were alive"
"theres going to be a big court filled with minsters etc," Zyle said "but you girls don't worry about that we will handle it"
the two brothers chuckled in unison
"is the valley ready?" Zyle asked
"it's been ready a long time my brother" Zehan replied "and we have the power now" their chilling laughs made
Vanessa and Vivian shiver
"I guess we are about to see a dragon showdown then," Vivian said
"one that has been long overdue," Zehan said
"Should we really execute them all though?" Zyle asked on their private mental link
Zehan was seething inside at even the very thought Zyle "you ask this for the ones who helped orchestrated our parent's deaths? are you really my brother? my twin?"
"yes, this is why I must ask? you know we are destined to keep each other
balanced our mates are with us should we give them a blood bath upon their arrival?
Furthermore, we dragons are so few now in number now"
"We can survive even better without slithering serpents like them" Zehan replied "do you think
they will think about our population when they try to kill us again in the future? we should let
ourselves live surrounded by people trying to harm us and our mates at every turn?
we take the princesses of the fox clan the last that exist in this world
from where they were happy and safe
we bring them home to become queens only to be murdered at the plots
and schemes of our own backstabbing clan members? and what of our people when we leave for the quest?
they will suffer unmercifully at their hands for however long it will take for us to return
no, we do what we must do this for the greater good of all we purge them all from our clan
and then move the clan to the valley and resettle begin anew this is the only way
are you in?" Zehan growled
"I am with you brother," Zyle said "but we do this cleanly we get justice for our parents and people but we should try to avoid the excess bloodshed, the excess destruction
we don't want our mates and our people to think we are just as bloodthirsty beast as our uncle was we come home to set them free to give them new hope not to plunge us all into despair"
"brother they will see a lot more death and destruction before this quest is over we are going to the realms after all" Zehan said
"We have arrived" Zehan informed them out loud as they came to a stop
"from here on out we must change to our celestial forms," Zehan said "you girls as well you must use the wings we gave you they will enable you to travel to dragon clan lands beneath the seas without issue"
"very well" the girls replied changing to their full nine-tailed forms as each unfurled a single wing from her shoulders and their tails their modern clothing changed to their celestial dress with cloaks gracing their shoulders
as their mates stepped off the clouds
their wings unfurling and then they both expanded until the skies were filled with the coils of two large serpentine dragons
one beautiful blended shades of green blue and silver the other blends of crimson gold and black
their heads surrounded by thick vibrant manes of hair around their fearsome faces their heads adorned with a crown of white horns
they were incredible to behold each dragons head drew alongside the cloud that held their mates and they bowed their massive heads
and each girl alighted upon the head of her mate and sat upon their mane
"you must hold on to our horns with your tails as tightly as you can" Zehan instructed
both girls did so and the two dragons orbs began to glow and power burst out of them
and into the water and a beam of light appeared shooting up from the water into the skies
above them,
the two dragons flew into the light
Vanessa and Vivian holding on tight not knowing what to expect
but as they entered the light both dragons were suddenly being shot up into the sky vertically by their head to the heavens and tails to the earth they flew up and up until the girls could see stars
and it seemed like they were above the earth's atmosphere the dragon's noses
touched the stars and everything stopped it was like there was a ripple in the fabric of space
and suddenly everything flipped upside down and they were plunging down
back through the way they had come looking down, they could see the ocean as they were plunging headfirst into the water
tails touching the heavens now
both girls screamed as they plunged it seemed endlessly towards the ocean
from who knew how high up they been it seemed as they were diving into the ocean from outer space
but instead of the big splash, they expected when they hit the water there was that still moment like before
the surface of the water rippled like a mirror and they slipped into the water seamlessly and the world flipped again
once it righted itself they were floating in the air suspended over what looked like a massive coral reef
laid out below them
above them was the ocean sea creatures were swimming by above their heads
whales dolphins sharks and all kinds of creatures were going about their business
in the sky was the ocean and there was yet another sky below the ocean too
it was a world the existed hidden beneath the ocean it was like another dimension
but it still shared the same space as the real ocean
water was air here and it was beautiful everything was colorful and sparkling like a jewel
and everything was alive more alive than on the surface in a different way
as they flew over the city seeing the homes in which the celestials here lived
were actually alive as well they were all naturally growing corals and sea plants
and the people lived inside of them like buildings they were
ginormously huge in this place than they appeared to be in the regular world
enough for one coral to give homes to several people it was truly shocking
the people that lived here all looked like various types of sea creatures and even mermaids
"oh my gosh is that Spongebob?" Vanessa asked softly giggling with Vivian a see sponge man was walking down the street wearing a brown suit
"that one over there could totally be Patrick" Vivan agreed where there was a pink starfish man in a t-shirt and shorts waddling along on his starfish legs as well
"Squidward has to be somewhere around here" Vanessa giggled "oh look up the street!" Vivian cried
"it's handsome Squidward" she giggled a handsome looking being with the top half of his body was human however his legs and lower limbs were squids tentacles,
it didn't help that he was blue in color with green hair allowing the girls to make the connection with the fictional cartoon character
as they reached nearer to the heart of the city a great castle rose up and behind that was a grand looking building
loud horns began to blow alerting everyone and many people came out of their houses as two
huge dragons swam by overhead their snake-like bodies dancing through the air
they flew over the castle a beautiful massively huge pink coral that appeared to have beautiful seashell windows and pearls embedded in the walls everywhere
its gates guarded by giant lobsters with soldiers seated astride their backs in saddles and were several soldiers dressed in old fashioned armor and armed with spears lined the coral's rooftops
they came to a big building in the back that looked very official huge statues of dragons sat at the large doors
"This is dragon clans court the hall of assembly where the running of the kingdom takes place," Zehan said
the doors of the court were thrown open and a troop of soldiers marched out they all lined up outside the gate
as an older man walked out followed by several more who all lined themselves up into neat lines one on each side of the door one group wore blue robes the other group wore red robes
and then another man walked out he seemed to be the one in charge dressed in black
"Prime Minister," Zehan greeted him with a growl
"Prince Zehan Prince Zyle it has been a long time since you have come to court unfortunately
you cannot see your uncle today he has gone to the above world on an important mission for Dragon clan if you have need to speak to him please leave now and return when he has done so"
