72: Rachel's Mysterious Savior

Rachel screamed as she covered her head and ducked. Her whole body trembled as her mind was in a total disarray.

Something slammed into the pavement just right in front of her, and a screamed came out of her lips again. Broken pieces of cement went flying all over the place and she covered her eyes from them. 

"Stay down." A commanding voice of a man said.

Suddenly, a warm jacket covered her head, and a large gentle hand touched her shoulders.

"Stay down." He repeated again, but this time it was low and strangely calm, like he was trying to reassure her that everything was going to be fine, that she was going to be fine.

Rachel pressed her trembling hands to her chest.
