Chapter 9: something messy is going on!
A lone wolf ran towards a human before it could attack the human. A kitten on the human's hand jumped from his hands.
As the kitten was reaching the ground its size was increasing. When it reached the ground, it was twice the size of the wolf. The divine cat ran and caught the wolf before it could run. The divine cat killed the cat in a second.

This was the fifth time, the same notification popped.
Orian was disconcerted, The divine cat wasn't levelling up but its stats were growing with every kill. He needed just 10 exp to level up, but this cat has taken more than 50 exp, still there is no sign of levelling up.
He checked his divine cat.

Again there was no change in the exp nor in the level. Orian didn't felt good. First, he didn't get any loyalty points from building the mini dam and now his cat is not levelling up.
Orian had killed one level 3 beast, three-level 2 beasts and one level 1 beast
Orian had planned to level his cat up to level 10 and then hunt for strong beasts. Also to try his new lighting attribute.
But his cat was not in a mood of levelling up now.
A wolf saw them, it wasn't scared to see a cat double its size. The wolf ran towards the divine cat. Orian who's mood was off, called his divine cat. The divine cat completely ignore the wolf as if it was an ant. The divine cat which was twice the size of a wolf turned into a small kitten. It jumped and sat on Orian head.
Orian took it into his arms. Orian holing the cat comfortably looked at the wolf who was running towards him.
The wolf was close to Orian now, it jumped.
A flash of lightning occurs, the lighting hit the wolf. After the flash, Orian could smell roasted meat from the wolf.
A notification popped.

That was fast, Orian just wanted to test his powers, A level 2 beast was gone in a second, he wonder how much time a level 10 beast would stay alive.
As he was waking something shined in the forest which caught his eyes. He went behind a tree and peeped to see what was shining.
It was a white armour, which was shining.
There were two girls and one man, they were hunting.
The girl wearing the white armour with a bow in her hand was Re.
The daughter of the village head.
The other carried a book, she was a magician.
The man was caring for a big sword. He was wearing bronze armour.
He had already checked in the village. There was no armour made or sold in the village which meant that these people went to the city to buy the armour.
Only the girl holding a book wasn't wearing armour.
If Orian made friends, with them. He can get some valuable information about the city.
He was going to step out and walk towards them but, he hesitated.
He didn't know their strength nor anything valuable about them. If they try to hurt, it won't end well for him.
At least, he needed to know their levels. But how?
He opened his shop and search for something that could help in this situation. But he found nothing.
After searching for a while, he didn't get anything helpful. At the same time, he was also watching the group. They were killing wolfs, not they, but only Re was killing wolfs. The Other two were just watching her.
He didn't like the way, the man was watching Re.
A notification popped.

Orian shouted in his head, 'what the hell is this ?'
I did ask for it, but why did you increase its price? You should help me with all this. Moreover, you should give me a discount!
System replied,

Orian couldn't do anything to the system, the system was like the government, whatever rules it made, you have to obey it.
Orian brought it for 200 points, which was super costly.
But he needed it.
The system didn't have any use of points, rather it was collecting to use it for the future or an emergency. It needed to help Orian at any cost, no matter what.
Orian looked at them.
First, he observed Re,

Level five not bad, she is quite strong than a lone wolf. And she is still killing lone wolfs one by one. She won't take much time to reach level 6.
But then he looked properly, he saw the number it was 350 out of 125. She should level up but she is not levelling up. Orian did understand that. The best would be to go and ask her.
Then he looked at the other girl, who looked like a magician with a book on her hand.

She was strong especially her mana, she was stronger than him, in terms of mana. Her spells would be really strong.
Then he looked at the man, wearing a brown armoured.

He was the strongest, but Orian was smiling looking at their stats.
He steps towards them, the blown armour man was the first one to notice him, as he looked at Orian, the other two followed.
Re looked and him, and said,
'He is Orian, an adventure staying in our village.'
After a few seconds, the magician spoke.
'I am Liviya and he is Irish, we are from the Osbond Empire.'
'We are here to help Re, to level up.'
Orian got a basic idea, it was something like, and normal people cannot see their level and exp. So, Re must have requested them to accompany her. And there must be a place where people go and place their stats.
Re spoke,
"How much more do I have to kill?"
As she asked this question, Liviya looked at Irish, Irish blinked the right eye slightly. It was enough for Liviya to see. Orian could also see it, but Re who was standing in the opposite direction couldn't see it.
This confirmed, something messy is going to happen. Orian wanted to see what can go wrong. What are they planning?
Orian was just going to ask them if he could join them for hunting, he knew that they both will say no, but Re was there to say yes.
But before, he could say it, Irish spoke.
"Nice to meet you, now we will be going."
They both went in another direction, Re was hesitating, but she too was convinced by Irish.
They left Orian, but Orian was not going to leave them alone.
He went behind them, hiding in the tress.
After a few minutes, he saw Irish nodding his head, it was a signal to do something.
As Liviya got the signal, she quickly cast a spell.
A few chains came from inside the ground. The chain was overlapping Re. she could even move her hands.
She shouted Orian was only able to hear the shouting. He saw their lips moving, but he didn't hear, as he was away from them.
Now, it was his chance to help her, but before he could do anything.
Two chains from the ground appeared and hold his hands and legs. His body was pulled towards them. Irish was smiling at Orian.
Irish looked at Liviya and said, "coming here was good as we got two new slaves to sell."
