Chapter 2: broken heart
Todorokis pov
I was sitting in class writing down notes. But I wasn't focused on what the teacher was teaching instated I was thinking about what Uraraka asked me yesterday. I do have feelings for Midoria but I can't do anything about it. My father would not approve of me dating anyone that isn't stronger then I quirk wise. I do believe that Midoria has a strong quirk but he is All Mights favorite so that wouldn't go so well with my father.
While I was lost in thought I realized that the bell rang. I was glad because it was the last class of the day and my father wouldn't be home tell later so ill have some time to myself. I stood up and grabbed my bag. I was about to walk out the door but before I did I heard someone call my name. I turn about and saw Izuku struggling to get his bag off the chair. once he did he fell down. I chuckled a little and walked over to him. "did you call?" I asked. He looked up at me and nodded while smiling, cute. I held my hand out and helped him up.
"Do you mind if I walk home with you?" he asked. I was confused because I live in the opposite direction then he did but then again my dad won't be home tell latter so I didn't mind. "yeah sure." I responded
~time skip~
We were walking to my house. I would normally call a cab to bring me home but i didn't mind walking today. While we were walking I noticed that Izuku keep looking at me. I didn't mind but I wonder what has him so distracted. once we got close to my house I turned to Izuku.
"I'm sorry but I'm not allowed to have any friends over." I told him
"why," he asked confused
"because they'll distract me from training." I replied
"oh, ok. well before I go I have something to tell you" he said looking down. I could tell that he looked nervous, but why? "okay what is it" I asked. He started rambling on about something but what caught my attention was my father's car pulling up to our house. Oh no, why is he home so early? I look back at Izuku knowing I had I hurry this up and leave before my dad sees me with him.
"..what I'm saying is that I've known you for a while and well um.. I kinda like you-"
I cut him off before he could finish what he was saying. "I'm sorry but I can't return your feelings." I knew I was being kinda harsh but I didn't have time to talk. My father would be furious if he saw I wasn't training let alone with All Might's successor.
He stopped talking and looked at me shocked. "w-what do you mean you-?" "I can't be with someone like you right now," I said a little panicked but didn't show it.
he stood there with a shocked and heartbroken look. I turned around and started to walk up to my house without looking back. I couldn't see him look do hurt. I knew that I'll have to explain myself and make it right tomorrow.
