Chapter 26: Concubine
IM: I say why would you come to something like this?
Ryu: I came to compare the taste between a cupcake with a soul inside. Did you come to fight.
IM: No I simply came to ask what exactly is your Deal.
Ryu: My Deal?
IM: Dream, Destiny, Desire. I know your Desire is strength. But it's the why that makes me intrigued. You hold no desire to replace the current rule or anything else. You simply stay inside your kingdom to train or party with your citizens and only rarely go out to sea.
Ryu: Indeed Roger told me until I get a dream or Desire aside from strength then I'll never be truly strong. However I guess I'm doomed to never be truly strong as I can't think of one.
IM: Well That's tuff and kinda sad.
IMs body disappeared from his position. Ryu was confused by the actions of this guy. He truly thought the two would fight. Ryu then looked towards Grey and said
Ryu: What do you think of this?
Grey who was frowning said
Grey: He seemed to only want to talk. He showed no signs of attacking and seemed
Ryu: Yeah. I Agree
Ryu looked around and could see the sweat on everyone's faces. Stussy was the only calm person as she had a slight frown on her face and seemed to be in thought. After a while the party continued but it wasn't as lively as before. This situation seemed to spark something inside the people here.
After everyone gave presents Streusen and the other chefs brought out the sweets. Ryus eyes sparkled as he saw the sweets. However before he could eat someone came up to him. Looking at the person he was surprised as it was Charlotte Katakuri. He could see determination in his eyes as he said
Katakuri: Can you train me?
Ryu was kinda shocked by the question. This guy should be 27 with a 500million bounty to boast. in another 20 years he'll be a billion bounty man and push Luffy to advance in observation Haki.
Ryu: You're to old for me to train. Besides you already know Haki so there isn't much for me to teach you. What you need is constant fighting against strong individuals. Although I could show you how to make your Haki flow.
Katakuri: Flow
Ryu stood up as he said
Ryu: Like So
Ryu raised his palm as a wave of power erupted from it. The power sent Katakuri flying as he crashed into a nearby table. His siblings became angry and wanted to act however BigMom said
BigMom: Stand down he's fine
As she spoke Katakuri stood up with no visible injures. However the blood on the side of his mouth spoke otherwise. He had a pair of shocked eye's as he stood there in confusion.
Ryu: Letting your Haki flow is when you let the Haki flow into the opponent and injure them internally. It's the best way to deal with powerful Zoan fruit users.
Katakuri: Thank you
Ryu: No problem I admire the drive to become stronger regardless of the reason.
Ryu sat back down as he tasted the cupcake. He showed a shocked expression. It wasn't just because the taste was better than most. It's that he seemed to feel an improvement from his soul. How he felt such a sensation he didn't know himself.
He continued to eat the sweets. Although a talking cupcake was odd Ryu found it quite funny. As the party went on Ryu and Grey communicated with the various underworld leaders and members. Sara continued to talk with Stussy who joined BigMom and a few others from the underworld.
All in all the party became a festive again after IM came and left. At this moment Ryu felt a gaze on him. Looking around he found it was BigMom sending him provocative glances. Sara seemed to not be paying attention which made Ryu feel something wasn't right. Ignoring it he continued to talk with Drug Peclo and others.
Over on the other side BigMoms mouth twitched as Sara showed a triumphant smile. Stussy looked at Ryu with a raised eye brow as she seemed to not believe what just happened.
Sara: Humph you'd best look for another man you harlot. Although you managed to lose some weight not every man is willing to ignore all your previous exploits.
BigMom: Mamamama. He'll definitely fall they all do.
Stussy: Can you two get along for a moment. This is a party
Sara/BigMom: Absolutely Not
Sara: She should be lucky I haven't planted her face in the dirt.
BigMom: You would... Mamamama look at that a chance.
Sara/Stussy: Chance?
The two looked in the direction BigMom looked in and saw Ryu leaving. His destination unknown at the moment.
Sara: Your chance is over if you dare to follow him don't blame me for destroying this place completely.
BigMom: Mamamama are you scared he might succumb to me
Sara: No I clearly gave up the favor I owed you that's the only reason I allowed you to act. You failed so just accept defeat.
At that moment a small child around 2 years old with long arms pulled on Sara's clothes. Looking down and seeing the child Sara's eyes lit up as she said
Sara: Little Marble what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be sleeping somewhere.
Marble: I thust came to see you tee tee.
Sara: Awww ok you can come sit with me.
Stussy: You know she's gone right.
Sara: Oh I Know. I also know she'll come back and gorge on this cake turning into her huge self again.
Stussy: You mean just now everything you did.
Sara: Humph I've been with Ryu since he was a child if I didn't understand him even a little wouldn't I be useless. Besides shes not as frivolous as she puts on.
Stussy: What do you mean.
Sara: She most likely wants to tie Ryu to her through marriage and child. However once she finds that she can't she'll be angry. Knowing she's starved herself to lose weight for nothing she'll eat her way to a coma.
Stussy: How can you be so sure? Aren't you worried she might not care and seek a position as Second wife or something.
Sara: If one could simply become Ryus second wife through sex. Then nearly half the maids in the palace would already hold that position.
Stussy: So much. Are you not angry?
Sara: Not at all. He is a king and it's his right. The fact I continue to be by his side is enough.
Stussy: Amazing. Is she the one you helped birth.
Sara: Yeah at that time I didn't know she was pregnant. She went into labor in the middle of our fight. I felt so bad that I nearly caused her to have a miscarriage. To make amends I offered her a favor from me.
Stussy: A favor she just. Sara I didn't know you could be so cunning.
Sara: Humph I am a Queen you know.
Around ten minutes later an angry BigMom came back with a large plate of sweets. She ate them as she walked and seemed to vent her frustrations through them. Sitting down beside Stussy and Sara she said
BigMom: You played me and even incorporated your own husband into your play.
Sara: Humph it serves you right. Besides I can't have favors on my head. Who knows what sort of favor you'd ask for in the future.
BigMom: Humph.
BigMom ignored her as she continued to eat. Stussy was confused as she looked at Sara. Sara smiled as she said
Sara: Ryu doesn't plan to have kids yet. So he put a seal on himself to ensure that. Unless he breaks the seal himself he'll never have kids.
Stussy: Isn't this bad for you.
Sara: It doesn't effect me. Don't ask the reason why as I can't tell you. It's a secret of Ryus.
Stussy nodded in understanding. She could see a light flicker in Sara's eyes. It seemed she was confident in having a child in the future. As for how she didn't currently know.
After another few hours the tea party ended with some unlucky fellow being swept away by BigMom. As for Ryu his ship got an unlikely member on board.
Stussy: I thank your Majesty for having me on board.
Ryu: No problem. A friend of Sara's is a friend of mine. So what island are you going to?
Sara: I plan to show her around Atlantis. So we'll be sailing home first.
Ryu: Oh you've never seen Atlantis before?
Stussy: No I never had the chance to see it in person.
Ryu: Well you're in for a treat.
Four Days Later
Ryu has just stepped out of the shower. Seeing Sara on the bed he said
Ryu: You didn't leave with her?
Sara: No I don't plan to go to that place. So what will she be?
Ryu: An undocumented concubine.
Sara: You plan to bring her along with us.
Ryu: If she so chooses. But I must say she's a very smart woman.
Sara: How so?
Ryu: She managed to secure her safety from both us and the world government.
Sara: World Government? You mean?
Ryu hooked her chin as he said
Ryu: That's right your best friend and the woman you helped your husband seduce and would trust your life with is Cipher pole.
