Chapter 16: Individual Competition, Battle Royal Part 1
As Rose and Exmachina were doing their own things. Luther walked out to meet them, Seeing this Rose quickly hid behind Exmachina. Exmachina not caring about the things that were happening continued reading her book, Luther looks at Rose with a gaze that could see her soul.
The two silhouettes that cross the finish line was Nirvana and Aqua. Their clothes were a messed, Nirvana saw Luther staring at Rose.
"Rose do you know who's the bastard that destroyed the whole desert?" Nirvana asked.
Hearing her, Rose avoids Nirvana stare and looks around while whistling. Seeing this Aqua sighed meanwhile Luther was still staring at Rose with a smile.
"Oho... Rose who do you think the Bastard who destroyed the whole desert while ravaging the other terrains and cost 1/3rd of the students to be disqualified," Luther said while smiling, Rose found it creepy and looks at both Aqua and Nirvana for help.
When Aqua saw this she smiled and pulled Nirvana. Both of them quickly left, Rose looks at them and felt Betrayed. Rose stared at Exmachina, she saw her just reading the book and not caring about the situation.
Rose plans to run away but when she was about to run she felt a hand that grabs her collar. She saw Luther who still maintains his smile, She shivered. Rose quickly use the blink to run away and went into their room. Seeing this Luther was still smiling nobody knows what he was thinking about. Exmachina didn't want to be with him anymore she founds his smile creepy and quickly blinks like Rose.
After the group left, the remaining students finally reach the finish line. All of them had tired looks as if they just went into war. Seeing this Luther felt that putting a bomb inside the competition is probably a good idea since on a battlefield everything is unpredictable.
When Luther was about to return his phone rings. He opens his phone to receive the call, after the call he closes the phone with a serious expression and left.
Rose returns in their room she had a tired face, she looks at her bed. Seeing it she walks toward it and slept on her bed. When Exmachina blinks inside the room seeing Rose in deep sleep, she smiled and sat on the chair near the bed. 2 hours later, Nirvana and Aqua finally came back. When both of them saw the sleeping Rose for the first time they wanted to take a picture but seeing Exmachina giving them a signal to stay quiet it made them stop.
After many hours Nirvana and Aqua slept on one of the beds together. Exmachina stops reading the Galacticlopedia and glances at Rose, She smiled. She puts her book on top of the table and slept with Rose on the same bed.

All of the girls were having a good night's sleep until something happens.
At 00.00 am in the early morning, A siren alarm could be heard all around the building waking up the students. The students were getting up very fast due to their training. When Rose and her group heard this they quickly woke up, All of them prepared their clothes. They tried to open the lights but it didn't work, All they could see were the red lights of the alarm siren spinning in counterclockwise.
"Let's get our clothes and find the teachers," Rose said while putting her clothes on.
"Ok" "Got it" "Understood" All of the girls agreed and continued to put their clothes on. After wearing their clothes, all of them open the door and saw the students running in the hallway. Without question, all of them followed the students, as they run in the hallway they could see a gymnasium. Seeing this the students run towards it. It took a while for the students to arrive at the gymnasium as they walked in, they could see the teachers lining up and a Burly man in the center.
Odin(The principal that never showed up) was looking at the students, Luther was also there seeing the students he looks for someone. When Luther saw the Girls he showed a creepy smile. His reaction didn't go unnoticed, Odin saw one of his Vice Admiral looking at one of the girls with a creepy smile. He looks at the girls and saw Rose, He was told after the Test that Rose was under the Emperor and she was under surveillance. Although he didn't know what it meant, Seeing Rose's strength he finally got serious. The strength that Rose perform was not strong but it was not weak either, It was impossible for her level to gain such strength.
He didn't know what the emperor was thinking but the Separatists were a problem. Those bastards tried to have a Civil war after a decade of the Empress Disappearance. All of the Separatists were destroyed after a month of the war, but some of them keep appearing going to E class planets and committing terrorism. There was even a time that they feed some of the Empire's secret Hyperspace lanes to other empires or races.
But they never succeeded, the information got out and the Empire almost deployed it's Whole Navy. Due to that, the traitor that almost release the Empire was immediately disposed of. Enough of the past memories Odin looks at the students, most of them were lined up.
"Let us start the Second Competition Battle Royale," Odin said.
When the students heard this, they were shocked. The Individual competition has only two parts, The Battlefield race, and The Duels. Odin stared at the students and spoke.
"This will be a new competition, the competition was made by Vice-Admiral Luther himself." After saying this Odin looks at Luther.
"The new competition will be called Battle Royale, All of you would be assigned in your own squads. Your active skills cannot be used and you would use Guns instead. Anyone using the Active skills would immediately get Disqualified so be careful. The Citizens would not be watching this competition and this test would start at 1.00 AM in the morning(Technically it is still Night).
The guns cannot harm you but giving you pain is its job. We teachers would be seeing you on the screens, each squad would have 4 team members. There are many types of guns ranging from a Sniper rifle to a Machine gun. Grenades would not be used but Flashbangs and Smoke bombs will be allowed." Luther stop for a moment, he points at the 10 briefcases.
"You would be given this watch, The watch would give you the position of your enemies and your own Squad. Every ten minutes the Watch would send a signal that would give you the radar position of your enemies. But remember your not the only one that could use it so don't think that it would make your Competition easier but No this would give you benefit AND Harm. This would alarm your position to your enemies so Surprised attacked would not work and your enemies would hunt you down. So go to the Armory and get your weapons."
The students immediately went to the Armory to get the guns. Rose wants to get her gun(The Void gun) but was warn by Exmachina that the ones that get hit by it would probably die. When both of them arrive at the Armory, Rose picks a Semi-Automatic Rifle while Exmachina picks a Sniper Rifle. Both of them got 4 Flashbangs.
After picking their weapons, Rose and Exmachina went back into the Gymnasium. After going back to the Gymnasium, it took 10 minutes for all Students to be prepared. Rose looks around and saw that only 100 students remain. It seems Luther was not lying about 1/3 of the students getting disqualified.
Luther saw the students already prepared so he picks up a paper that contains the list of the squads. Luther spoke to the students on the list.
When Rose heard that Aqua, Nirvana are with Exmachina and her. She got a bad feeling she saw Luther stop speaking to the students on the list and hearing him the students immediately got in their own squad.
"The Squad under the first place winner of the first competition would have 10,000,000 points. The points are used for you're own squad to win, Each squad would have a number of 100 points if you kill one enemy you would get 25 points. If your teammates dies your squad would be deducted by 25 points for each teammate. This competition would not stop unless there is only one squad remaining."
Hearing Luther's Explanation all of the students stared at Rose's group like a hungry beast. Seeing this Rose just smiled at him, although she cannot use her skills. The first grand mastery she got was from the guns. Her confidence got into higher levels due to this reason.
Rose looks around and saw Nirvana and Aqua. Nirvana was carrying a Machine gun while Aqua picks an Assault Rifle. When Rose saw both of them, She looks at Nirvana and sighed.
"Nirvana.... why did you pick a Machine gun?"
"What? You don't know that throughout history only someone with a big gun would win with style" Nirvana question Rose while holding her Machine gun.
"Nirvana is Ironically good at Machine guns," Aqua said.
Rose looks at Aqua in doubt but decided to believe it.
"By the way..... why are the other students looking at us like a hungry beast?"
"Did you not hear Luther's announcement?" Rose asked.
"We were late, it's not like it was my fault" Nirvana grumbled.
The squad was talking to each other. Luther continued on speaking the rules until all of them were teleported to the Competition.
Rose looks around and saw normal buildings. She stared at her squad and forms a battle plan.
"Exmachina find a hiding spot and switch every 10 minutes. Just go anywhere that this place can be seen. Nirvana and Aqua find the Entry points towards this spot and Nirvana after looking at the Entry points find a spot that a machine gunner could effectively fire" After saying this, Nirvana was about to go but was stopped by Aqua.
"Aqua why did you stop me" Nirvana looks at her group and saw that none of them are moving. She didn't move as she just followed what her squad does.
After 10 minutes, their watch activated. The radar scanned the whole area and projected their own position and their enemy position.
"Sister report, 12 enemy squads at west and north, 6 squads at south while 7 at the East," Exmachina said.
"Got it..." Rose nodded, She looks at Aqua and Nirvana and nodded at them. Seeing this the Duo went to do what they were told to do. After the radar scanning, all of them went into their positions.
To prepare for war....
