Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Jace's pov
Clary walked towards me in the dingy alley I feel my eyes become glassy and try to walk away but my feet were taking me nowhere then she walks upto me and says, "You're Jace right?" I nod " Yeah....I'm Jace...." I smile for the first time in a whole year for the fact I'm standing with the one girl that I love more than anything." What are those tattoos on your neck" She touches my speed rune and she looks confused but like she found out some information that would change her life forever. I start to walk away but then Clary grabs my arm and pulls me around so are faces are an inch apart and are noses touching. I automatically kiss her it was gentle but full off passion. I needed Clary even though she didn't need me all I wanted to do then was to take her home and just hold her forever and never let go.
But then I realised a beautiful girl like Clary will of course have a boyfriend then suddenly a boy will blonde hair in a manbun walked towards Clary then snaked his hand around her petite figure and nuzzled his head into Clary's neck like I used to my anger is building and building until It falls straight off the edge of the cliff and start to stride towards the blonde and tackle him to the ground but I stop when I see Clary's face she is horrified but of some what relieved. When an extremely ugly brunette walks round the corner and starts to walk with pride towards the blonde and looks at him with anger. " Jason" She whines " I thought it was make out time"
Then looks at Clary and pulls a disgusted face. " is that girl you were saying wouldn't kiss you because she says it doesn't feel right". A smirk appears across my face at her comment , I was happy that Clary had never kissed anyone since she kissed me. But it got larger when I saw a massive smirk appear on her face it felt like my world was complete and I could die happy. " Finally I have proof you never loved me! I am so happy I have a reason to dump you! I've been waiting for one to appear! forever" Her smile just largens when she sees me It makes my heart melt." I have a weird feeling about you Jace....that I was supposed to meet you and..." She smiles again then kisses me.
Clary trusts me enough to take her to Magnus's apartment. When I arrive Magnus gives Clary a tight hug which makes Clary feel awkward but tries to ignore it. " Magnus can you reverse her memory?" He nods and I tell Clary to sit still on Magnus's jet black sofa while he performs the spell. After he is done I rush over to Clary and hold her hand if she liked it or not I'll never know. She sits up and looks at me happily and remembers what happened." I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye" She starts crying and I just hold her in my arms until we head back to the institute and we are greeted by an ecstatic Izzy. She just hugs Clary until she is gasping for breath and I separate them from each other for Clary's sake and take her to my room and lay on the bed happy that I had found my beautiful red head once more.
She lies next to me and leans on my chest and falls asleep and I pull the covers over both of us and drift into sleep. When I woke up a bolt of light strained my eyes as I woke up completely. I decided to have a cold shower to wake me up more and walk out the bathroom once I'm done to find Clary awake sitting on my bed looking through a picture book of me and Clary I had made after she had left. It held me together and I treasured it massively and never let anyone else see it until now." I remember when we walked through the park and you refused to go near the lake because there were ducks and of course we all know you and ducks don't get along." She laughs I really needed to hear her laugh so much I wrap my arms around her small figure and hug her tightly and get a bit rigid at her mention of ducks my grip tightens of course she finds that absolutely hysterical and starts laughing.
We were both laughing until we get a smell of breakfast and follow the unpleasant smell to the kitchen to are dismay we found Izzy cooking eggs . Believe me when I looked in the pan I gagged they were just a mess of white and yellow mush that looked like it had been shoved into a unsuspecting victim's mouth the puked back up two seconds later . "Izzy! Clary and I are not eating that slop!" she was so angry she left the room and burned the eggs she was cooking . As soon as she left Clary and I burst into a long laughing fit. I loved that Clary was Back to her usual bubbly self again and that is one of the many, many reasons why I love Clary Fairchild.
After Clary and I stopped laughing we headed out to Taki's. When we got there my least favourite waitress came to serve us.....Kaelie she always tries to flirt with me. To show her that Clary's mine and I'll never be with her , I kiss Clary on the cheek and snake my hand round her waist and pull her close to me and sit like that the entire time. It gave me satisfaction to know that Kaelie hated it. Clary also noticed and smiled to I guess it also gave her the same feeling to know that I didn't want Kaelie anywhere near me. I love Clary so much there is nothing that can ever come between us for now...
