Clary's POV
I woke up the next morning to Cece sleeping peacefully, in the middle of Jace and I. "Morning" I said happily. Jace slowly woke up and smiled happily at me, "Morning beautiful" He said back. "You know, Jace, we are going to have to tell everybody where we are" He looked at me playfully. "I'm not telling them until they get so fed up they track us here" We both laughed and accidentally woke up Celine. I thought she would immediately start crying but she looked at me with big golden eyes and giggled. "Come on, let's feed you, plus your Daddy needs to take a shower as he is smelly" Jace laughed and kissed my forehead before leaving to have a shower.
I carried Cece to the kitchen and set her on my hip while she was giggling her head off. "I don't know what's so funny you know," I said to her, smiling happily. I fed Cece then put her back in her cot while I made my own healthy breakfast for Jace and me.
Jace came in just when it was ready, "Looks amazing Clary" He kissed my cheek and sat down and started eating. When I was finished I put the glass in the dishwasher and did the same for Jace's. He started playing with Cece, who had recently woken up, on his lap. Just then someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it. Coming!" I looked through the peephole and opened the door slowly, I was only wearing Jace's shirt that was ten times too big for me and Jace was wearing Jeans and a Black shirt. Cece was wearing a grey dress with some cute white socks. "Clary! Where have you been?" Izzy nearly shouted. Jace saw Izzy but she didn't see him so he took Cece into our bedroom, far away from an angry Izzy. "I've just been here Izzy, relaxing with Jace." If you said she looked suspicious, it would be a vast understatement.
Then Magnus spoke, who was standing with Alec behind Izzy. "Biscuit, when I was tracking you something got my attention. Once we got into this building we noticed that the amount of Angelic power coming from this apartment was phenomenal." I panicked and didn't know what to say. "I know when you and Jace are together that you do give off that sort of energy, but this time, it was almost like a complete Angel was in the building." At this point, I was having a full-blown panic attack. Then it hit me why Magnus would say that Jace and I Both have Angel Blood, and that makes Celine nearly a full Angel, of course, she's not but add that Angelic Energy to both mine and Jace's. That makes a WHOLE lot of Angelic Energy to this building and the fact we are all in so close proximity. "Biscuit, are you ok?" Magnus asked and I nodded slowly. "Anyway, come in" They all piled into the apartment and of course the first thing they see is Jace creeping out of our room. I mentally facepalmed.
"Oh, hey guys," Jace said nervously everyone but I turned to look at him as he came over to everyone. "Care to tell us why you're sneaking out of there," Izzy said, obviously annoyed. Jace is not going to be able to get out of this one. "Anyway, we came to tell you that Mum, declares a meeting in the Library in....ten minutes," Alec said, checking his watch. "And you two will be there" I sighed and pulled Jace to our bedroom to get changed. After a couple of minutes, we were done and trying to think of what to do. "I'll go talk to them while you get Cece ready and then I'll call you in when I say," I said then left the bedroom. "Guys, I need you to keep an open mind okay, and no loud noises either." They all nodded and let me continue. "So Jace and I have something to tell you, and it's not a little thing either."
"Clary, just tell us will you please? We have to get going in a minute" I nodded and decided to just say it. "I have a daughter" I blurted out. No one said anything and I finally noticed that Simon was here as well. "Is she Jace's?" Alec said and I nodded. To my relief, Jace came into the room holding Cece and Magnus looked like he was about to fall off his chair. " Jesus, that's how much energy in the room, she explains it" Izzy, Simon and Alec looked very confused and what he had said. "I'll explain later, anyway, what is here name Jace?" He smiled at him happily" Celine Ava Herondale" Everybody gave an aww. Then Izzy asked to hold her and Jace said yes. As soon as he put Cece in Izzy's arms she started crying. "Hey, don't cry" I cooed at her. Soon Simon had Cece then all of a sudden Alec had her. Since when did Simon get her? As soon as Alec got her she started crying again then Magnus had her and she was crying but Magnus made a blue cloud above her head with animals dancing and Cece giggled. "Not fair!" Izzy said "He has an advantage"
Simon was glaring daggers at Jace, almost saying, "She was suppose to be mine you slimy git" I saw this and got Cece from Magnus and gave her to Jace, to calm him down, weird method, but hey. Jace put Cece in her pram (Or Stroller Depends On Where You Live) I packed her a little bag with necessities and then Magnus created a portal for us to go through.
Once we arrived back at the Institute I got Cece out of her pram and put her on my hip and Jace put the pram in his room. We all got to the Library where Maryse was standing.
Jace POV
Okay, now Maryse is scaring me she is looking extremely stern and serious, once she saw Cece she smiled and came over to her. "Hey little one, I'm your Grandma Maryse" WOW she took that well. Then she sat down on the sofa. "I called you all here to discuss your education, and I'm not talking about Shadowhunter training, I'm saying going to College to have some Proper education. For example, Clary, you could do a degree in art. Izzy, you could do fashion, boys, pick whatever" I was shocked about what she had just told us, I was panicking and I could see Clary was too. "Maryse, I'm not sure If Clary and I will have time for College, as we do have other priorities, a bit more important," I said indicating where Cece was. Maryse looked like she was thinking deeply. "I'm sorry but you're still doing College. The good thing is that it's a boarding College that you will we going to" Now I was just furious with Maryse and I could see that Clary was too. "I'm NOT leaving Celine here by herself and without her parents. I know how that feels. Maryse if we have to go to College then she's coming with us and that is the last I want to hear of it" Clary said then I left with Clary and Celine.
