Chapter 21: CP9 Collection
Zeus pushed the door open and said "God you're so fucking annoying." Spandam choked on his saliva and screamed "Who are you?! Who let you in here?!" Zeus ignored him and brought Franky and Robin to a table in the room before sitting down himself.
Spandam was still screaming like a banshee but Zeus frowned and snapped his fingers. A lightning bolt shot out and struck right next to his head, Spandam turned white and Zeus said "Keep screaming and I'll turn you to dust, do you believe it?" Spandam nodded, like a chicken pecking rice, and Zeus lit a cigarette saying "Finally."
He exhaled and looked at the rest of the CP9 agents. Jabra, a man with a ponytail, looked over and said "Lucci, who's this guy?" Lucci said simply "Marine." Jabra clicked his tongue in response to the dry reply and said "Hey you! What's your name?"
Zeus smiled slightly and said "Kurama, you are... Jabra right? The puppy dog?" a few agents snickered and Jabra flared up "Who you called puppy dog?! You little masked brat!" Lucci stopped him and Zeus chuckled "Listen to the kitty, he knows what's good for you." Lucci's face scrunched up and Jabra laughed and pointed at Lucci saying "Hahahha Kitty! hahahahah! I'm calling you that from now on!"
Lucci grit his teeth and punched Jabra in the face, sending him flying into the wall. Zeus chuckled and carefully analyzed the CP9 group. As expected, the hair guy and the zipper mouth guy were nothing special. Maybe the hair guy could eventually become powerful but he wasn't too sure of his personality. In reality, he was actually one of the stronger CP9 agents, but Zeus didn't really care either way. He would train them himself after he got either their loyalty or controlled them, he was leaning towards the latter option.
He wasn't too sure he could get Lucci to be loyal to him and most of the others would follow Lucci until he or they died. Zeus rubbed the bottom of his mask and looked on with interest. He had already disregarded the zipper mouth guy as he was ugly and annoying, he would just kill him later.
Zeus stood up and walked over to the agents, he circled around Jabra and looked at Kumadori, the pink haired guy, with interest. The CP9 agents felt like they were being examined and Lucci said "What are you doing?" Zeus ignored him and looked at the 6 of them, excluding the zipper mouth guy. He made a rectangle with his fingers and included Blueno, Kalifa, Kaku, Lucci, Jabra, and Kumadori, the more he looked the more he liked it.
Zeus' eyes started glowing with excitement, startling the agents. He happily walked away and sat down again, Franky said "Man you're weird!" Zeus didn't care and said happily "I found a new toy!" everyone shuddered and looked at Zeus, who started writing down in a book seriously, occasionally looking at the 6 agents every now and then before writing again.
Spandam decided to ignore Zeus and brought out fruits for Kalifa and Kaku to eat. Zeus looked over and grimaced, one of those was completely useless. Zeus snorted and muttered "Fucking Spandam.." they all looked at Zeus who waved and said "If you want to be a giraffe, square nose, go for it. I won't stop you."
Kaku looked at him and said "It's a giraffe fruit?" Zeus nodded and said "The other one is not bad. If used correctly it can be very powerful. Less fighting strength, more utility." Spandam interjected "How do you know? It hasn't been documented!"
Zeus waved and said "It's the soap bubble fruit. Eat it." Kalifa strangely believed him and ate the fruit, Zeus grinned and Robin sighed. Kaku was the one hesitating, he didn't want to be a giraffe.. Zeus coughed and added "It's also a square giraffe by the way."
Kaku was confused "Square giraffe?" Zeus nodded and said "There are no curves, only corners and squares." Kaku looked at the fruit in dismay but he ultimately ate it. Kalifa produced soap bubbles from her body and Kaku turned into a square giraffe and almost cried but he cheered himself up by convincing himself that giraffes were cool.
Zeus sighed and kept writing in his book, crossing out, re-writing, etc.
Suddenly a call came over the snail, Spandam picked it up and said "What?!" the marine on the other side said "Chief! It's Straw Hat! He's taking out all the marines on the island!"
Zeus grinned and Spandam said "Just take care of it!" and hung up. Blueno left the room to take care of it. Zeus sighed and looked at the CP9 agents in pity as he said "I feel bad for you." they smiled wryly and Spandam's face turned ugly as he said "What does that mean?"
Zeus pointed at the snail again and it started ringing, Spandam picked it up and heard "Chief! The rest of the Straw Hats are here! The giants joined them! We can't stop them! Send more troops!" Spandam was scared and dropped the phone, hanging it up.
Zeus laughed and pointed his thumb at the balcony. Everybody looked over and heard "ROOBIIIN! WE'RE HERE TO SAVE YOOOOU!" Spandam collapsed and Zeus clapped and laughed "What a fun day! Let's go see!" he grabbed his book and threw it out the window into a cloud that was passing by the window going back to the sky, with Blueno unconscious on top of it.
Zeus walked towards the balcony and every one looked at him in fear, Robin's eyes turned fiercely 'This guy.. Just who is he?!' everybody went to the balcony and saw Luffy standing on the roof below them.
He looked up and said "Robin! We're here to take you back!" before Robin could answer, the roof exploded and the rest of the crew jumped out and landed next to Luffy.
Zeus felt his heart beat and he said "Fuck that was cool!" Franky nodded and said "Straw Hat has style!" They looked at each other and nodded before looking away. Robin looked down and said "I don't want you to save me! Everyone I've worked for has betrayed me, and I don't want the same thing to happen with you all!" She explained what happened to Ohara and her back story before saying "I'm just a burden!"
Zeus shook his head and muttered "What a stupid woman.." Franky elbowed him and pointed at Robin, Zeus turned and saw her glaring at him with tears in her eyes. He held his hands up with a wry smile.
Spandam sneered at Luffy and said "Who wouldn't betray her?!" he pointed to the World Government flag and laughed "You see that!? That's her enemy! There's 100 or so affiliated nations under that flag!"
Luffy looked up at the flag and said "So that's her enemy? Sogeking, shoot down the flag." Sogeking grinned under his mask and said "Aye Aye." before shooting a firebird star at the flag and burning it to ashes.
Zeus got goosebumps and grabbed Franky in excitement, Franky shook him off and said "Hands to yourself bro." Zeus clicked his tongue and didn't care as he said "That gave me goosebumps! So exciting!" Franky shook his head, he couldn't keep up with this action junkie.
Spandam was stunned and said incredulously "Do you realize what you just did?! You just declared war on the entire world?! Do you think you can survive!?"
Luffy screamed "Bring it on! Robin! I'm waiting for your answer!"
Robin let her tears fall as she recalled all the good times with the crew and finally screamed "Save me! I want to live! Take me out to sea with you again!" Zeus felt his bones go soft and he shivered, so much better in person! He stood up on the railing and said excitedly "Queue the draw bridge!" as if it heard him, the draw bridge opened.
Zeus grinned madly, completely out of control at the moment, and everyone looked at him. The draw bridge exploded and Zeus flared up "Which bastard blew up the drawbridge?!" Franky sighed and said "Man that would've been SUPER cool..."
Zeus grumbled and stepped down saying "Maybe I got a little excited.." Robin looked at him and said "A little?" Zeus shrugged and Robin smiled slightly.
Franky broke free from his chains and pulled out papers from his arm. He said "Spanda! Look what I have here!" Spandam recovered and looked at the papers before saying "My blue prints!" Franky sneered and said "I'm betting on the Straw Hats for this one. If they lose the world's over but if they win were free!" before spitting out fire and burning the blue prints to ashes.
Spandam paled and in his anger pushed Franky off the balcony. Zeus chuckled and looked down to see the Rocketman smash through the judicial building and catch Franky along with the crew before smashing through the walls of the Tower of Justice.
Zeus chuckled and said "Cool!" Lucci said "Can't you be serious?" Zeus shrugged and said "I'm on vacation." Jabra chuckled and the rest were amused before splitting up and leaving. Lucci took Spandam and Robin down into the tower and Zeus jumped off the building down to the lower floors.
Zeus landed at the bottom and saw that the zipper mouth guy was unconscious on the ground. Zeus grinned and dragged him to the cliff and just pushed him off, he put a finger to the mouth on his mask and said "Oopsie!" before chuckling and going through the building. If he remembered correctly, Jabra lost first, then the pink haired guy, then Kalifa, then Kaku, and finally Lucci.
Zeus rubbed his hands together and muttered "Time to pick up the pieces..." before disappearing.
He appeared in front of an unconscious Jabra and threw him onto a could that was following him. Blue was already on the cloud and now there were two. He kept going through the building and heard a giant explosion. He looked and saw Monster point Chopper, destroying the building. He smiled slightly and went to find Kumadori.
He flashed in front of Kumadori and threw him on the cloud before going through the building and finding Kalifa. He threw her onto the pile and flashed to where Kaku was.
He appeared in the room and watched from a chair as Zoro beat down Kaku and threw him the letter from Iceberg saying "You're fired." Kaku laughed before falling unconscious and Zoro looked at Zeus before nodding and leaving.
Zeus waved goodbye to Zoro and walked over to Kaku. He picked him up and threw him onto the pile of humans before jumping on the cloud and flying out towards the bottom of the building.
On the way there, Blueno woke up and looked around. He saw Zeus and his fellow agents and said "What happened? Where Fukuro?" Zeus thought for a moment and said "The zipper mouth guy? He fell off the cliff into the water, he's probably dead."
Blueno nodded and said "You saved them?" Zeus nodded and said "This doesn't come without a price." he paused for a moment and said "Don't try to escape. You're going to all be fugitives of the government after this is over."
Blueno was shocked and said angrily "You set us up?!" Zeus sneered and shook his head "Not me. Your chief will blame everything on all of you to save his own ass. Sound reasonable?" Blueno grit his teeth in fury and clenched his fists.
Zeus waved and said "Don't worry. He'll get what's coming to him, I promise you that but first I have to do something. Just sit there and be obedient, when I get Lucci then we'll talk." Blueno nodded and started looking over his friends. Zeus smiled widely as he noticed his actions and continued through the halls.
He flew over Lucci and Luffy fighting and went into the staircase before Lucci could say anything.
He flew up the staircase and called Sengoku, his voice came over "What brat?" Zeus said "I thought you'd might like to hear something interesting." Sengoku was confused before hearing Spandam's voice "So what? The Buster Call will take care of the pirates and I'll leave the island safely!"
Robin screamed "You idiot! Do you know what a Buster Call does!? Nobody will live! It's cruel and doesn't differentiate from friend and foe!" she saw the snail in Spandam's hands and said "Everybody leave! The Buster Call is coming! Run!"
Spandam slapped her and said "So what?! They should be happy to die for me! I'm the Chief of CP9! All the agents and marines should willingly sacrifice their lives for me to escape!" Zeus grinned, it just so happened that the agents woke up before he said that and the snail was on, Spandam's voice traveled throughout the entire island.
Sengoku was fuming over the snail and said "Kurama. Make sure he survives, I want to have a little chat with our 'Chief' of CP9." Zeus chuckled and Spandam and Robin looked up at Zeus and the CP9 agents. Spandam paled and Zeus said "No worries Gramps. Can I hurt him?"
Sengoku was silent for a moment before saying "As long as he doesn't die." before hanging up. Zeus put away the snail and grinned "How you feeling Spandex?" Spandam collapsed in fear and Zeus dragged him and Robin to the Bridge of Hesitation.
They got outside and Zeus said "You 5 stay on the cloud." they nodded and Zeus hopped off before sending the cloud high up into the sky, he tagged all 5 when he picked them up, so even if they did escape he would hunt them down.
Zeus dragged Spandam across the Bridge of Hesitation and Robin followed along. Zeus knocked Spandam out before saying "I'm going to have to use you as a scapegoat Robin." Robin nodded and said "I can cripple him myself if you want." Zeus thought about it and nodded but said "Make it look like a struggle. It will be suspicious if I didn't do anything."
Robin nodded and Franky ran over on the Bridge of Hesitation with a key. He grabbed Robin and Zeus said "Make it look like your protecting her." Franky nodded and pulled Robin away from Zeus.
Zeus looked at Spandam and saw the Robin was free, he gave her a nod and she crossed her arms before crippling Spandam completely. Zeus gave her a thumbs up before saying "Run." before throwing a thunder spear at her feet. Robin and Franky ran away and Zeus geppo'd over to the Buster Call ships with Spandam in his hands.
He landed on Yamakaji's ship and smiled "Hey Uncle Yama!" Yamakaji laughed and said "Hey there brat! What happened here?"
Zeus sighed and threw Spandam at his feet before saying "This idiot called a Buster Call by accident and basically told all the marines on the island to die for him so he could escape. Grampa Sen wants him alive but he got crippled! What a tragedy!" he wiped a fake tear from his eye and Yamakaji rolled his eyes and chuckled before turning around and saying "Get a medic!"
A few marines came a took Spandam away. Zeus turned around and looked at the island being bombarded by cannon balls and heavy gunfire, Yamakaji stood next to him and said "Bad?" Zeus shrugged and said "Meh. I do feel bad for the marines stuck on the island. They have to suffer because of the idiot but they were warned so."
Yamakaji nodded and the ship sailed to the shore of the island. Zeus got off and said "I'll go see if I can find any survivors, good luck Uncle Yama!" Yamakaji smiled and waved as Zeus disappeared.
Zeus traveled through the island and threw marines who were left into the sea and said "Swim to a ship." he kept throwing people into the sea as he made his way towards the heart of the island, where Luffy and Lucci were still fighting.
He looked up and saw the building explode with Lucci flying out along with the debris. Zeus flashed extremely fast, even the Vice-Admirals didn't notice, and took Lucci in his hands before hiding in the tower of Justice. He called down his cloud and threw Lucci on it before saying "Wait for me. We'll get a doctor to fix you all up, then we'll talk." they nodded and took care of Lucci and Zeus sent them all up again before flashing back onto the island near the marines.
He ran over to Yamakaji and said "Uncle! What happened?!" Yamakaji shook his head and said "I don't know. Seems like Straw Hat had a tough battle." Zeus looked over and saw Luffy standing weakly before falling to the ground. Zeus was worried, thsi was a crucial time he couldn't reveal himself just yet. He was about to make a move when Sanji used Soru and appeared next to Luffy before disappearing.
Zeus grinned madly, he spread out his Haki and saw Sanji collapse in fatigue on the Merry and they started to sail away behind a marine ship. Zeus pointed at the marine ship and said "Uncle Yama! Behind that ship!" he grabbed the air and threw a thunder spear at the marine ship, blowing it up and revealing the Merry, sailing away quickly.
Yamakaji clapped and said "Good boy! Fire at that ship! Don't let them get away!" the marines fired a bunch of cannonballs but Sanji and Zoro used Luffy's body to bounce them back, destroying several ships in the process.
Zeus threw thunder balls but one of them actually curved into Luffy, he paled behind his mask. 'It's over!' the thunder ball flew at Luffy but shockingly, it bounced back as well and destroyed a bunch of marine ships on it's own.
Zeus was completely stunned, even Yamakaji was stunned. Zeus looked at him and said "Aiyo, I actually hit them that time!" Yamakaji scratched his neck and said dryly "Nice try kiddo." Zeus chuckled embarrassingly and said "Oops..." Yamakaji patted his head and said "Don't worry at least you hit them. You're getting better." Zeus smiled and laughed dryly before noticing something and saying "The Gates of Justice are closing!" he seemed to have made a decision and said "Uncle Yama! I'm going to pursue! See you later!"
Before Yamakaji could say anything Zeus hopped on a cloud and flew through the Gates just before they closed, trapping the rest of the marines behind him. Zeus looked up at the cloud with the agents and let out a breath of relief, close call for sure.
He flew towards the Merry and said wryly "Um sorry about that. It was actually an accident.." Nami snapped "We almost died!" Zeus coughed and said "Yeah, but the key is you didn't!" Nami huffed and puffed before stomping away angrily, the rest smiled wryly and Zeus scratched the back of his head. So embarrassing..
