Chapter 65: Tengoku Funsai Ryu
Zeus got serious and said "Bonney pour the Sake." Zeus walked behind the table and sat down, cross-legged. Zeus lit a cigarette and said "Sit." Koronosuke grinned and placed the wooden box, that was tied to his back, on the ground next to him before sitting down.
Bonney poured both Sake cups with both hands and stood off to the side, not saying a word but had a smile on her face. She liked when Zeus took control.
Zeus exhaled and said "What do you know, old man." Koronosuke sneered and said "I can tell you're an outsider from a single glance at how you operate. It might work on the outside but the approach is completely different here."
Koronosuke shook his head and said "You're all wrong about the Yakuza business in Wano." Zeus sneered and said "Were you called "Yakuza boss Koronosuke as well?" Koronosuke nodded and said "Of course." Zeus felt his mouth twitch and Koronosuke continued "You rule with power and scare the rest to get what you want. While this works for the outside, in Wano it simply won't. How much control do you have right now?"
Zeus spat "50%" Koronosuke sneered and said "What do you think the other half is doing? Sitting and waiting? Yakuza don't take their business lightly, you might even have an uprising on your hands. You're too far gone, you have to win the hearts of the people to be successful. All the best Yakuza bosses were kind to the people."
Koronosuke shook his head and said "You're cold and ruthless during business. Eventually not only other businesses, but your own people will rebel. You're name and status outside mean absolutely nothing here. I assume you're a big shot outside?"
Zeus threw a bounty at him and Koronosuke caught it and unrolled it before whistling "King eh?" Koronosuke turned it to ashes and said "Worthless. Even Kings fall to rebellions. What good is a King that rules with fear?"
Zeus was silent and Koronosuke said "Yakuza aren't hidden in Wano, they are famous themselves. They lord over different regions, that youngster Kyoshiro is the top boss in the capital. The other Yakuza bosses who rebelled disappeared a long time ago."
Koronosuke sneered in disdain and said "Now all these poor excuses for Yakuza appeared. It was a lot better a long time ago. Just because it's the underworld doesn't mean it has to be dark. Yakuza shine in the light here!"
Zeus was startled and Koronosuke sighed. Zeus said "Show me your ankles." Koronosuke narrowed his eyes and his voice turned Ice-cold as he said "What do you know." Zeus sneered and said "Nobody can hear or see into this room, fire worm. If you support Orochi, I will turn you to ashes, do you believe it?"
Koronosuke flashed his crescent moon tattoo and laughed "What does an outsider know about Oden?" Zeus grinned and said "A lot more than you would think, old man. All I want is Kaido's head on a silver platter, taking out Orochi is just a simple pitstop along the way. He'll get his soon enough."
Zeus exhaled smoke from his nostrils as he grinned and drank from his Sake cup saying "I agree with your words about the new Yakuza bosses. I directly turned the slave traders to ash, the rest are just Orochi supporters. Who cares if I push them around?"
Koronosuke raised a brow and said "You cleaned up the trash?" Zeus nodded with a disgusted look "I don't deal with slaves. I already cleaned up the Underworld outside, there's a few fish that escaped the net but soon enough there won't be any more slaves, period."
Zeus put his cup down and said "All my staff are former slaves." Koronosuke nodded and grinned "Maybe I underestimated you kid." Zeus grinned and said "Just a little?" Koronosuke sneered "Hold your horses. You're nowhere near the Crown you were given outside."
Zeus narrowed his eyes and said "Say, Old man. Wanna be my advisor?" Koronosuke burst out laughing and said directly "Can you afford it?" Zeus grinned and said "Name your price." Koronosuke shook his head and said "I'm too old for that now."
Zeus smiled and said "Baby, would you be so kind?" Bonney smiled and touched Koronosuke's shoulders before smiling "How much?" Zeus tapped his chin and said "How old are you old man? 80?" Koronosuke was confused but answered "86."
Zeus nodded and said "Take 56." Bonney nodded and directly reverted Koronosuke back to 30 years old. His back straightened out and his hair turned jet black, his wrinkles disappeared and his features became sharp.
Zeus grinned and said "How you feeling now, old man? This is payment for the sword and if you become my advisor you can keep 20 extra years, if you decline I'll just leave you at 50." Koronosuke looked at his young self before bursting out laughing.
Zeus smiled to Bonney and Bonney sat next to Zeus and leaned her head on his shoulder while rubbing her stomach, that was starting to bulge slightly. Her expression full of love and care.
Koronosuke slowly stopped laughing and sighed "Turn me back boy." Zeus was startled and said "What?!" Koronosuke smiled and said "I'll be your advisor but I don't want this." Zeus said quickly "Impossible! This is your payment! You have to accept!"
Koronosuke chuckled and smiled an extremely carefree smile as he said "Zeus. I've lived long enough, even my wife passed before me. I don't want to live longer, I appreciate your sincerity but I cannot accept it. I will go out naturally as god intended. When you reach my age, you see through some things. I've lived long enough, just turn me back."
Zeus struggled and said "I need to pay you somehow. Don't you want to be handsome again?" Koronosuke laughed and said "I still am! Besides, you might get jealous of my current looks."
Zeus sneered "You wish, Old man..." before getting slightly serious and sighing "Are you sure, old man?" Koronosuke smiled and nodded and Bonney directly changed him back.
Koronosuke chuckled and said "Let's get this show on the road. What are your plans." Zeus said "Shiruton!" Shiruton appeared next to him and Zeus said "Give me the book." Shiruton handed him the book and Zeus gave it to Koronosuke.
Zeus looked at Shiruton and sighed "You found Killer?" Shiruton immediately became gloomy and she spat "I'm going to kill whoever made him like that." Zeus nodded and said "I'll fix him, I promise. Just wait a little bit. I have a plan for Kid and Killer to stay with you, whether it works or not is the question."
Zeus paused before sighing "Kid is in Udon mining prison." Shiruton trembled and clenched her fists as she said "Boss.." Zeus held up his hand and said "He's fine. Soon, Shiruton have I ever lied to you?" Shiruton shook her head and Zeus smiled, he pinched her cheeks and said "We'll save them both. I promise."
Shiruton smiled softly and nodded. Zeus grinned and said "Did you pick one yet?" Shiruton blushed and pouted "Zeus!" Zeus chuckled and Shiruton blushed even deeper before snorted and saying "I'm ignoring you!"
Zeus burst out laughing and said "Awwww silly girl! Come back!" Shiruton stuck out her tongue and ignored him.
Koronosuke closed the book and shook his head saying "Wrong. All wrong." Zeus was confused and Koronosuke said "Even if they are Orochi supporters, you still need them." Zeus frowned and said "Then I'll have to have a cleanse when Orochi is gone."
Kronosuke shrugged and said "So be it. You need the people right now. You can't just take over other Yakuza gangs. They won't listen to you. You need to win their hearts. These new Yakuza gangs adopted the secrecy of the outside but they're wrong! You need to come out into the light..."
Koronosuke started writing in the book, sometimes scribbling and crossing out before writing again. He finished and handed the book back to Zeus, who read it and had a strange expression "Like this?" Koronosuke nodded seriously and said "Listen kid. The most important thing for Yakuza gangs is good feelings towards the leader. Also, you have the Courtesan house but you have no direct source of income!"
Zeus was like a curious baby, soaking up all the information from Koronosuke. Zeus nodded repeatedly and when he was done, Zeus made the order "Shiruton, go find Franosuke. Tell him to bring Minatomo to me, I have a big project for him. Also get all the staff up here." Shiruton nodded and disappeared.
A while later
All the staff was in Zeus' room and Zeus smiled as he said "I'm very satisfied with your progress. As some of you may or may not know. I am not from Wano, hence I ran Tenno Akuma as I would normally run an underworld organization.."
Zeus paused and took a breath before holding both his knees and bowing saying "I have treated you wrong, I apologize. If you are unsatisfied with my apology or just want to leave, you are free to do so. I do hope that you will all stay, however."
The staff was stunned and incredulous, was this the boss? The 'Mad Demon of the Court'? Sayatoro and O-Muma, trembled slightly and teared up a little bit, never would they expect Zeus to do this, being the two people he interacts with most in the whole group they knew that he was different. His methods were strange and ruthless, while some Yakuza were like that, they crumbled very quickly because of rebellions.
They was no love or bond between the two parties and eventually there were rebellions. But Sayatoro and O-Muma knew how strong Zeus was, even if they started a rebellion they wouldn't do a single thing before becoming ashes floating in the wind. Which was why they were so stunned to see him bowing his head like this.
O-Muma said "Boss.. You don't have to bow like this.." Sayatoro nodded and Zeus said "I do. Because I care about you all as well as the organization. An old man told me I was doing everything wrong and I believe 10% of everything he says, that was among the 10%"
Koronosuke choked and muttered "Damn brat.." Zeus chuckled and said seriously "Please stay with me. I, as well as Tenno Akuma, need you all." the group trembled as they heard Zeus' request. they were all silent for a moment before smiling and kneeling on one knee and saying in unison "Of course Boss!"
Zeus straightened up and smiled widely, his eyes a little red as he waved and said "Bastards! Alright! We're restructuring. Sayatoro, O-Muma and 2 more from the other two groups step forward." Sayatoro, O-Muma, and two others stepped forward.
Zeus grinned as he said "What are your names?" the man said "Zengoro." and the woman said "Sai." Zeus grinned and said "Perfect! I assume you've all seen Sayatoro and O-Muma's powers?" the whole group nodded and Zeus whistled. a cloud flew in and dropped a box before flying away.
Zeus opened the box and sifted through fruits saying "I have... a Marshmallow fruit, a Velociraptor fruit, a Fox fruit, a Paper fruit, a King Cobra fruit, and a Honey Badger fruit. Pick one each." Sai and Zengoro pointed at themselves in shock and Zeus nodded with a smile.
Sai picked the King Cobra fruit and Zengoro picked the Velociraptor fruit. They both took big bites and swallowed before transforming and Zeus smiled saying "Split into 4 groups, one for Sayatoro, O-Muma, Sai, and Zengoro."
The group split into 4 smaller groups and Zeus said "Sai and Zengoro. Pick two of your own people and have them step forward. 4 people stepped forward and Zeus gave them the rest of the fruits, they took them and Zeus said "Sai is in charge of the Bath house, Zengoro is on charge of the Noodle shop, O-Muma is in charge of the Courtesan house, and Sayatoro will be in charge of the Casino."
Zeus grinned and waved his hand and cloud flew in and dropped a stack of books as he said "Everyone who doesn't have one, take one." they all took a book and Zeus smiled saying "Go on. Have fun training." the group smiled and left after bowing slightly.
Koronosuke nodded and said "We'll work on it. You can't just treat them right, you have to gain the people's favor as well." Zeus sighed "So much!" Koronosuke laughed and said "You want to be Yakuza or not!" Zeus nodded and said "Do." Koronosuke sneered and said "Good. That's what you have to do."
Zeus smiled and Koronosuke slapped his forehead and said "I forgot why I came here! Your sword is finished." Zeus perked up and chuckled excitedly, Koronosuke put the wooden case on the table before saying "I haven't made a sword in a long time.. The last time was for a youngster named Oden. This will probably be the last one I ever make."
Zeus was stunned and exclaimed "You made Enma and Ame no Habakiri?!" Koronosuke nodded and sighed "It was a long time ago.." he shook his head and said "This is your own! I call it Tengoku funsai ryū!" Koronosuke opened the box and revealed the katana.
Zeus looked at the Katana and trembled, he transformed into his hybrid form and his reverse scale started glowing red as he felt a connection to the sword immediately.
The Saya was blood red with a white dragon coiling around it, stepping on red lightning clouds as red bolts of lightning crackled around it. It's eyes glowed red as if it was alive. There was a patch of black cord on it a few inches before the Tsuba.
The Tsuba was black and shaped like a black dragon with red eyes curling into a circle.
The Tsuka was wrapped with a red material and had white diamond shapes running along both sides with a black pommel.
Zeus picked up the sword and it buzzed in his hands. He grasped the hilt and the black cord on the scabbard before pulling the blade out, the habaki was gold and the blade had a flame like pattern on it. It sword buzzed aggressively and Zeus closed it with a click.
Koronosuke grinned and said "Use it enough to become a black sword and it will jump to Supreme rank!" Zeus' eyes trembled and he waved, the lightning coating dispersed and Zeus disappeared from the room. The rest immediately followed him.
Zeus stood outside and bought the house across the street, it was fortunately abandoned too. Actually, this one was Zeus' fault because it was a Yakuza house before but.. well there was no one left so naturally the house was abandoned.
Zeus tied Tengoku funsai Ryu to his waist, on the opposite side of his gourd and jumped in the air. He held the scabbard and grabbed the hilt before whispering "Dragon's wrath." and slashing down at the building.
The blade came out black and crackling with lightning. A giant dragon image flew out from behind him and smashed down into the building, obliterating it. Zeus clicked Tengoku back into place and finally opened his eyes while letting out a breath.
Koronosuke clapped excitedly and said "Amazing! You're a natural!" Zeus had his back facing the group, Bonney and Persephone felt their hearts skip a beat as they looked at his back, so tall, so wide, perfect!
Zeus took out Tengoku and held it upside down to his right side, extremely fast. A collision occurred and Zoro appeared with 3 swords out as he said "Nice sword!" Zeus chuckled and reverted to normal as he said "Want to be my first victim?"
Zoro sneered and said "Let's go out of the city." Zeus grinned and said "Shiruton, stay and watch the Courtesan house." Zeus licked his lips and a crazy grin appeared on his face as he said "I'm going to play!" his psychotic laughter sounded and he disappeared.
Shiruton sighed and went back, Koronosuke burst out laughing and said "This old man hasn't felt this excited in decades! hahahah" before he disappeared as well. Bonney and Persephone had already left.
Zeus and Zoro stood in a wasteland area a part from each other.
Zeus closed his eyes and took a deep breath, lightning crackled around him as he said "Thunderclap and Flash!" the ground under Zeus exploded and he shot forward like a bullet.
Zoro blocked with his swords and Zeus was stopped in front of him with a grin and his red eyes glowing as he said "That all you got mosshead?!" Zoro grunted and spun Zeus off.
Zeus jumped backwards and grinned as he said "Six fold!" Zeus disappeared and a lightning arc shot forward at Zoro 6 different times, even faster than before!
Zoro blocked them all and shot towards Zeus, swing his swords out. They turned pitch black and were aimed at Zeus' head.
Zeus swung Tengoku up and hit all three blades before slashing down at Zoro's chest, intent on making it an 'X'. Zoro sneered and spun around, stopping Zeus' slash with his own.
Zeus went back and crouched while leaning forward. Zoro narrowed his eyes and got serious and held both his swords behind the blade of the one in his mouth. Zeus' eyes glowed red completely and lightning wisped off them, a huge white dragon appeared behind Zeus and a massive white tiger appeared behind Zoro.
They both said "Dragon God's Ahnihilation!/Ultra Tiger Hunt!" Zeus and Zoro disappeared and the dragon and tiger clashed, ripping each other apart before both disappearing.
Zeus and Zoro reappeared and clicked both their katanas back in place. As soon as the click was heard, their kimonos exploded to pieces and flew away with the wind. Zoro burst out laughing and said "Welcome to my domain, Mask boy!" feeling immense joy, tying with Zeus.
Zeus smiled bitterly and said "Aiya, how embarrassing.." he tied with Zoro, his first fight with his new sword was a tie, what a joke. Tengoku buzzed happily, feeling that it's first fight went pretty good! It's master was an okay swordsman, but he was extremely strong and the other three swords he just fought felt a lot stronger than itself.
Zeus didn't know the complicated thought process of Tengoku and patted the hilt saying "We'll get 'im next time." Tengoku buzzed again and Zeus patted it before walked to Zoro and smacking him in the head saying "My first time holding a sword and you're happy?"
Zoro sneered and said "So? Your bounty is like 10 times mine!" Zeus rolled his eyes and said "I also have 2 devil fruits and run a massive underworld organization. What do you have?" Zoro blinked and said "3 swords." Zeus was silent before saying "That's true, they should raise your bounty."
Zoro nodded sadly and the duo went back to the capital.
The girls jumped on Zeus' shoulders and they all disappeared.
A while later
Zeus was sitting in his top room again, with just the two girls this time. He had already shared the Casino blueprints with Minatomo and told him to build it across the street as well as make a large underground space and connect it to the Corutesan house. He didn't bother to hide his Yakuza identity anymore and he calmed down his aggressive take over of the other forces, settling at 50% of the Flower Capital.
He got a hold of Koronosuke's contacts and started importing goods from the outside becoming a proper Yakuza force. Very soon the name Tenno Akuma swept through the underworld with a better name.
Persephone was silent but she watched the fight against Zeus and Zoro and recognized the moves Zeus used. They weren't his own, and she remembered watching something and seeing a boy doing the exact same thing, with the same names! She trembled and was sure of it now, she couldn't continue to deny the facts any longer.
Not even mentioning she unlocked the rest of her memories and knew what happened. She was relived to find that she didn't change and she was still the same, but she didn't know how to face Zeus anymore. She was scared he would distance himself from her if he knew the truth so she acted as she normally would but a bit more stiff.
Not on purpose, obviously but it was inevitable to be a little nervous. She wanted to hide it till she died and enjoy his ignorance. In fact, Zeus already noticed she was acting a little strange but chalked it up to 'that time of the month' and forgot about it.
He was extremely busy, managing everything and the days passed slowly.
Finally the end of the month came and everything was running smoothly. The Casino was up and running, Zeus had friendly interactions with the people in the capital and treated them as he would, the citizens of Abyss Island.
Everything was in play and he finally felt his thunder marks land on Wano. Zeus grinned, it was time for the machine's gears to start turning.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lets go! Thunder breathing style baby! WOo! BTW it was just a little easter egg, not his actual sword style. I'll make one up as I go along~ LIKE A REAL SAMURAI-GOSARU! ALSO the sword name in english is Heaven Shattering Dragon.
