Chapter 2: First Day At School
Two hours later, after Sirius ate everything, they went to the dorms. Sirius laid on his bed, Remus sat down and started checking if all his stuff was there and Peter and James fell asleep.
Remus stood up and went to the bathroom. He took a long shower and started brushing his teeth. Then, a shirtless Sirius came in. "Sorry, Moony. I just wanted to brush my teeth. I really have to sleep early." "No problem." Remus said.
He got out first. 'Damn!' He thought. He laid to his bed, with his face in the pillows. That night, Remus couldn't sleep. He wanted to cry. He could wake up his friends, though. So he stayed like this. Waiting for the sun to rise again.
At nine o'clock, he stood up, got ready and started waking up his friends. "Wake up! Time to eat! McGonagall will give us our programs. It's going to be a long day today!" He shouted. "Moony, stop-fucking-screaming! I wanna sleep!" Sirius yelled. "No, Sirius! Wake up! Now!" Remus yelled back and pulled the blanket back. For his surprise, Sirius was wearing only his boxers. He panicked. "And wear your robes!" He told him as calm as he could.
Half an hour later, they were sitting at the Gryffindor table. They ate, they listened to what Dumbledore had to say and finally (for Remus) they got their schedules. "Of course. Starting with Slytherins. What else?" Remus mumbled. "No worries, Moony! We have a chance to hex Snivellus!" "Don't you dare, Padfoot! It's still the first day at school!" Remus told him.
Sometime later, they went to potions class. The lesson went kind of well. Boring normal potions class. James was pared with Lily, of course. Peter with another girl from Gryffindor and Remus...
"Wanna pair?" Sirius asked him. "W-what? Oh, um, yeah, s-sure!" He answered awkwardly. Of course, Remus did all the job. At least they were one of the three pairs that made the potion correctly. The others were James-Lily and Snape with his pair. Unexpectedly, Sirius didn't hex Snape. Next, they had Herbology with Hufflepuffs. Finally, the classes ended for that day. They went to eat lunch. Remus stole some chocolate for later.
At the Gryffindor common room, Lily and Remus started shouting to James and Sirius to do their homework (Peter wasn't there). Finally after one hour, they sat down to study. But that didn't last for too long. "Moony? Moons? Rem? Hey, I can't anymore. Please, I need a break!" "Sirius, it has been only ten minutes! Stop it! I can help you but I will not do your homework because you are bored!" "Fine then!"
They studied for three hours straight. They relaxed a bit and they went to the Great Hall for dinner. "I wanna sleep!" Sirius mumbled while eating his putting. "All of us, Sirius! But as I can see, you can lay on your food and sleep." James said and laughed.
"Guys, I am finished. I am going upstairs." Remus said and stood up. "Wait! Take him with you. He is literally going to sleep here." Lily said, pointing to Sirius. "Kay. Come on Padfoot." Remus said, helping Sirius to stand up. They walked upstairs and fell asleep.
