i blush softly and climb into the tree. i curl up and my tail curls around my legs.
"i cant go down there. they're gonna hurt me i know it Kye" i say. Kye climbs up to me and pats my head.
"they'll listen if im with you now come on" Kye grabs my arm and pulls me down the path. everyone is talking then they stop they stare at me and Kye. i wave and walk to the plates i grab one and ask the lady for food.
"i told you human lover-" Kye walks up next to me "-you can have as much food as you'd like!" the lady slaps the food on my plate glaring. my ears fo down and i quickly walk away Kye grabs my arm and gets everyones attention.
"need i remind everyone we are all equals! if you treet anyone differently you will ansert to the king and queen!" Kye yells. i grab Kyes arm and cover his mouth i run away holding him like that. i stop when we are a good enough ways away.
"what where you thinking! equels?! they're gonna eat me alive now they will know i told!" i scream.
"oh relax. go for a little jog when you come back ill have a gift for you." Kye says i nod and walk away. i start to run then i start to sprint. running with all my might i see the world pass me by faster then i was ever able to see it.
i smile ringing as fast as i can. i see a cliff leading into water. i run and jump off the cliff i feel the cold water wash over me. i relize i cant swim and try to franticly get to the top. i start to loose air and pass out. a while later i wake up its dark and stars have filled the sky. i get up and shiver from the cold night air and water.
I start walking back shacking more and more. i finally see the lights and keep walking. i look over and see everyone. i quickly run to my room shivering. my cloths are torn and i'm soaking wet. someone grabs me they run to everyone holding. they run so fast i cant see them. they throw my in front of Kye.
"i found her!" the man says
Kye grabs me softly i look up at him with tears swelling in my eyes. he hugs me and picks me up he walks to my room holding me. he wiped the blood off my wounds and gives me new cloths.
"what happend where did you go?" Kye asks
"i-i saw a cliff that led to water. so i jumped...i...dont know how to swim i drowned and when i woke up it was about 45 minutes ago. i starting running here. i was so scared." i say shivering more. Kye gives me his coat.
"i sould have come with you. im so sorry alva." Kye says
"its fine..i just am glad to be back, with you." i look into Kyes eyes. he slowly gets closer to me.
