Chapter 1: Prologue
Clic, Clic, Clic, Tap, Tap, Tap.
Inside a bedroom, you could see and hear a young man playing Glory on PC. Behind the screen, with brown slicked back hair, about 180cm tall and a perfect posture, was Nate. If one were to look at this scene, and hear the rythmic sound coming from the keyboard, anyone would assume that he was completely focused on his game. But, on a more attentive look, specially at the frown on his face and at his eyes, wich were frequently shifting between his monitor and the smartphone upon the table, one would feel that he was actually feeling pretty nervous and waiting for something.
Not long after, the phone started buzzing, indicating a incoming call. Nate expectantly checked the caller, and after confirming the name, instantly picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hi, my name is Dunn, I am calling on behalf of the Night Hounds Organization. Is it Nate on the line?"
"Yes, that would be me."
"Great! I am calling to deliver good news. It's about that job that you applied to. After a careful analysis by our board, we decided that it would be in our best interests to accept you to the position. Are you still interested?"
