Chapter 3: 3
Dana's POV
I look around and saw people whom I didn't even know crying as Bekah's mom's coffin was placed in the ground. It's been a week seen her passing and she has hardly eaten anything or spoken to anyone. She just cries and I get why because I would too if I lost my mom.
"B u need to eat something," I say to her as we get in the car. She just looked at me with the same dual face she gives everyone when she's annoyed.
"I don't care your eating something and that's final,"I tell her as I pull off.I pull up to her favorite place,Wendy's,and her eyes lit up for a second but I still caught it. We got our food and decied to go to my house.
"hey, darlings,"my mom said as we walked in the house. She gave bekah a big hug and kissed me on my forehead.
"sorry I couldn't handle going with you all to the funeral ..."she said breaking down in tears.My mom and Bekah's mom have been friends since they were born.Miss Anna and my mom use to live next to each other so they practically grew up together.
"Excuse me girls.... I just can't ... believe she's gone,"my mom said trying to calm herself again, "Ou is that Wendy's,"she said trying to change the topic that she know is killing her inside.I handed her the bag I brought for her and Bekah and I mead our way to my room.
"Bekah you have to eat,"I say to her as she plays with her food and I widely stuff my face.
"I cant D I tried but I cant,"she answered.
I take a fries and stick it in her mouth,"please just eat a little and I won't bother you about it again."
She ate the entire thing and I just smiled at her as she lay there on the bed like a belly fulled snake.
"Can I spend the night here,I don't want to face my house right about now?"she asked turing her head to me.
"mom B says if she could stay the night?"I yell.
"You and B don't ask me no stupid questions please,not while I'm eating,"she answered and we laughed. It was the first time in a week I saw Bekah laugh and I was glad to see it.After a watching a couple movies we deiced to go and sleep.
"night b,"I said
"night Dana,"she said.
"night mom,"I taught I heard her say but was to deep in sleep to realize.
