Chapter 16: Why Should I?
Annoyed by his response Jim tried to attack him from the behind just like he earlier attacked the owner but this guy dodged it and rather held Jim's hand and turned him around, he pinned Jim's hand at his back and smiled, "Don't you have any new moves?"
Jim was surprised as this was the first time someone was able to dodge his attack and when Jim attacked the owner it was all dark, even if this guy was hiding and observing everything, how did he see his move and came up with a counter-attack so quickly, Jim wondered what was happening.
"Let him go" Amara ordered the new guy.
He chuckled and let Jim go.
"Please help me, these people are here to kill me." The owner quickly pleaded to the new guy who he saw as his saviour. The moment he dodged Jim's attack and counter attacked on him, the owner's hope to escape these groups of people heightened.
"Why should I help you?" The new guy coldly asked the owner.
"I'll give you money, I'll give you 100,000 Euros." The owner promised.
"How will you do that? Weren't you really poor a few minutes ago?" Carl asked sarcastically.
"I'll sell my restaurant and will give away all my savings, please help me." The owner again begged the new guy.
"Why should I?" The new guy again asked.
"Fine 200,000 Euros?" The owner hopefully looked at him.
"Why should I?" The new guy repeated his question.
"What do you want to tell me?" The owner was losing his patience.
"I want to join you." The new guy was looking at Amara and smiled at her.
Amara stood there without any expression and looked at this new guy as if she was looking at a joke.
"Are you crazy? Do you even know who we are?" Vic asked, annoyed with this new guy's attitude.
"You are the Russo gang." The new guy answered without any hesitation in his voice.
Everyone in the room was shocked hearing his words, especially the owner, he got very scared as the Russo gang was here to get back those diamonds.
"How do you know that?" Jim asked in confusion as no one knows who the members of Russo gang are, it was impossible for a normal man to know this kind of question.
"That's none of your business. Can I Join you?" The new man asked Amara, ignoring others.
"Get diamonds from this guy, then I will think." Amara finally responded to the new guy.
He smiled and promised, "I won't disappoint you."
The new guy turned towards the owner and asked him, "Life or Diamonds?"
"What diamonds?" the owner continued denying.
"These diamonds" saying this, the new guy took out a purple colour velvet pouch like bag from his jeans pockets and showed it to the owner.
