Time kept moving, and I was still getting stronger, feeling more like myself. Nikolai continued being there for me, showing kindness that surprised me. Knowing he started going to therapy classes because of us was a big deal—it showed he was willing to change for our relationship.

Then came the drama with Mariana. She called Nikolai all angry, blaming him for her problems. But Nikolai didn't argue; he just hung up and blocked her. That's when I figured out Mariana was the one causing trouble. Nikolai took a strong stand against her, making sure she faced consequences for what she did to me. When I talked to him about it, he said I had to be tough so that people wouldn't take advantage of me.
