Chapter 17: Chapter 17
Soon flying class began.
" Alright students this is your first flying lesson so I need all of you to listen to me so that we can avoid accidents.
Anyone who doesn't will have detention about why they shouldn't be a dunderhead and listen to their teachers. "
' Well this is better I think? Guess she got influenced by Snape. ' Nero thought as he listened to madam hooch.
Nero stood in front of his broom. He held his hand out over the broom as he felt his magic connect with the broom.
' The brooms connect with the rider through magic. That's why your intent has to be there in order for the broom to come to your hand. '
Nero said nothing as the broom went into his hand. He then waited for the rest of them to pick up their brooms.
" Alright the next step I want you to give a kick off the ground and hover. Remember do not let fear control you otherwise you will lose control of your broom. "
Nero sat on his broom and pushed off the floor as he then hovered about 3 feet off the ground and started to just fly there before gaining more height.
' This is amazing. I wonder how it feel like to be above the clouds? I need to try it sooner than later. '
As the class continued Nero merely just enjoyed flying at a certain height as Madam Hooch told him he couldn't fly so high in the first class till he gets a better grip on flying.
Soon however class ended as Nero enjoyed the freedom of flying.
The rest of the classes were a bit mundane as Nero just stayed quiet doing his own thing.
As soon as School ended Nero decided to look around the castle for secret entrance ways used by the maruaders.
He got extremely lucky at one turn as the door lead to cliches office.
' I'm surprised they did this. Then again if they were ever caught they could always escape using this.
Since I'm here though I'll need to be quick and get the map. I'll make my own map for Hogwarts before putting it back the original. '
Nero looked through Fliches office before finding the map in one of the crates.
" I solemnly swear I'm up to no good. "
On the paper the map appeared as Nero could view the entirety of Hogwarts and everyone in it.
' This is map is useful for keeping track of where everyone is. Speaking of Flich is coming. Time to leave. '
Before Flich come Nero quickly escaped through the passage way as he made his way back to the Ravenclaw dorm room using the passage.
Sitting on his bed Nero contemplated what he should do next.
' Lets see I'll have to go to the room of requirements soon. Considering it's connected to all of Hogwarts I'll have access to the teachers collection of books on subjects.
I'll go check it out. '
