Chapter 2: The Birth of the yet to be Villain

I guess it's time, I thought as I saw a light. Not the one that happens when people die, but the one when they are born.
"WAAAAHHHH" I cried as I was born, not for the sake of it, but because IT HURT SO MUCH!
God, if that is what all babies feel when they are born, I wouldn't mind them crying so much. I looked around I looked at the people in the room. First at the one who carried me, which was a tall and beautiful women. Wearing a maid outfit which is weird in a modern day era, right? She had a gaze that could pierce men and a beautiful flowing green hair. Also the weird pointed ears?
Another person I spotted was the women that gave birth to me. She was beautiful as well though with brown and hazel hair and eyes. But instead of ears on the side of her head, it was at the top. Fluffy and triangle shaped. Though it didn't look like the usual cat ears, I inwardly sighed as I was born in a fantasy world, just great.
Now I gotta train, fight, probably go to a magic academy and be an adventurer. Then I would also probably meet some arrogant fools or nobles. There isn't much a difference accept one has the chance not to be trashed by some op person they happened to insult. Then I would have to work hard till I die and then I would live with regret. Just great, there goes my relaxing life.
But as I continued to look around the room I noticed that I couldn't see my dad, just great, I don't have a dad. But it might've not been the case, I'm hoping it's not.
I felt dizzy and tired probably from just being born. I wanted to stay up longer but I guess a babies stamina is pretty small.
But from my tiny baby ears I could hear my melodic mother's voice.
"I'll name you Leon, Leon Patterson"

The things I have learnt in 1 year is that I'm in a novel. Not that anyone would now that just instantly. But with the country similarities and the species and my name I concluded I was in a novel.
The continent's of this world was spread out across the globe. This world was bigger than Earth by about twice it's amount. The continents were Eden, where the highest elf population exist. The Fior, where the alcohol and dwarves are many. Legion, where most of the humans are. And then the Crome, where the most of the Demi-humans are, though this is not to say we are the only ones here. The world only is 60% water, this was only thanks to one of the biggest continents. It was call Hollow's Grave. There was a massive experiment on which they were conducting on humans to improve them. There was always those type of people in these fantasy worlds, it's just on which scale. The scale they experimented on caused the nation to collapse. The explosion from their factory's were like a chain reaction and eventually covered the continent in disaster. The land became poisonous and prevented anyone from going in. But the magical beasts evolved.
You see, they are normal beasts and magical beasts. The normal are beasts like pigs, cows, worms and stuff. But a magical beast is the beasts that can use the mana in their body, which everyone has. This makes them exponentially stronger and eventually gains intelligence.
There is also some exceptions and that are the category of 'dungeonary' the mobs that spawn from dungeons like goblins, golems, skeletons and many more.
The beasts from Hollow's Grave that survived the explosions had absorbed the chemicals and improved their constitution and eventually they became near impenetrable to kill.
The Hollow's Grave was considered a dead zone and anyone is restricted to enter.
The other similarities to the novel was the species. There were the usual humans, elf's, dwarves and Demi-humans. But there were also the mermaids, dragons. Though the dragons could be a magical beast, most of them gained intelligence and integrated into society as one of the most powerful species. There were countless of others, even krakens. I know right?

Bruh, but you may think that's a good thing but it's not. It's because Leon Patterson is not the protagonist, but the villain in this story...
