Chapter 4: One punch dude
He quickly woke up the other two, and told them to do the quest with him. Using different words of course, and they didn't want to. Their bodies were still sore from before.
"I've heard that you get stronger by doing this." Zach said silently.
"By who"
"Umm… Jake, yeah Jake told me"
"Well. He is pretty strong"
And so, they began to do what would become their morning routine. And when they were finished with this, they did some scouting.
There was a lot of people living in platform 0. All of them weaklings, because if they were stronger they wouldn't be here. There was Jake the heroin addict, Sarakus the rat charmer and so on.
What they wanted to find out where The dirties hangout was. They knew roughly where it was, simply from where they had spotted them, but they needed to know precisely where it was.
They began climbing the largest trash pile in the area. They used the furniture and heavier objects such as tv's and benches as things to hold onto. Whilst avoiding the weaker things, such as vr googles, dead rats, teddy bears.
Eventually, they had climbed the largest trash pile in the area, and they looked around. They could see the teenagers resting upon their usual hill in the distance. But they kept their eyes open, they had to spot the dirties.
After thirty minutes, they saw suspicious activity. There was a couch which suddenly moved by itself. Then, they saw two, three, four, five teenagers crawl out of the hole the couch had been covering. Then they reclosed the hole.
Bingo!
That's when they began conducting their master plan.
1 year later.
They were now 13. Sadly, the quest which gave him points became rarer by the day, but they still did it. Because they noticed differences in their body, they were actually getting stronger. Zach got shocked because it had just been a lie.
And on top of that, they would perform the plan which they had planned for over a year. They had started rumours, saying silly stuff as, "The dirties called Jake weak," "The teenagers called the dirties clean."
Oh, how dare they!
The more rumours there was, the more heated it got between the group. The teenagers, stressed from the conflict, began putting harder requirements on the band of idiots. Which was an unexpected side effect.
It would be worth it though. One their free time they cleared a path between the base of the teenagers and The dirties. They also continued their morning ritual getting stronger.
And then, when everything was ready. They waited for a special day. Sketchy Mike's whore day. It was exactly what it sounded like.
They sat on top of the largest pile of trash, and when they saw the two groups leave towards Mike's, they started their plan. Zach and Jim ran through their created path towards the dirtiest hideout.
They dragged the couch of the hole and then climbed down into the hole. There was weak energy less lamp there, which illuminated the place. There they found horrid and broken paintings, rusty broken swords, arrows that were twisted and bows that were too bent.
All the good stuff.
Zach felt that he was in a gold mine. They grabbed everything they could and climbed out of the base. Their new strength helped them a lot. Then they ran towards the teenagers base.
It was critical that Marvin did his part. He needed to tell a lie to bring the teenagers away from Mike's exchange house, so that the dirties couldn't see them. After a while they went with the lie, "we found an ability book and we aren't sure what to do, its at our base"
Marvin told that exact lie, word for word, showing a nervous face whilst cursing at them silently in his mind. Then he led them slowly towards their base, tripping more than usual and holding a conversation. When they reached the spot and realized they had been fooled and Marvin ran away.
They didn't bother chasing him, they would find him soon, and when they did they knew what they'd do.
Under the time Marvin had distracted the teenagers Jim and Zach had reached the teenagers base and they had put the stolen items all over the place. Then they ran to the highest pile of trash and found Marvin sitting there.
Now it was a matter of time.
The teenagers had walked back to Sketchy Mike's and they passed the dirties who had spent all there money there. As they walked past each other both sides were silent and the air was tense with tension.
The band of idiots watched, as the dirties walked straight to their base. They moved the couch, and then they heard a roar, the roar they had been waiting for. They saw the dirties exit their base and head straight for the teenagers base. Meanwhile, the teenagers were also heading back to their base after spending their money.
Zach looked eagerly as the two parties come closer to each other and eventually they met.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" The dirties shouted at the teeangers who were confused. Then they realized they had a bunch of new items in their base. They knew what had really happened, but reason in front of emotion never worked well.
A fight had broken out. 5 on 3, but Jake had a skill which made him a lot stronger than the rest.
The five people swarmed the three people. The three biggest people took on Jake whilst the two weakest took on the other two. That was how powerful an ability was, even though it was only level 1.
Jake threw out a right hook, which connected, but he left himself vulnerable and was kicked in the stomach. He felt the sting but walked back, the man he had struck took two steps backwards but then got back into fighting position.
Meanwhile, the other four were at an even fight.
The three people swarmed Jake at the same time, Jake kicked the biggest one inbetween the legs knocking him out cold, but then the other two grabbed him and got him down on the ground. They began beating him bloody, but he had such superior speed that he got a punch in every now and then.
All the while, the band of idiots were rushing towards the fight.
