Chapter 38: Kylie’s Annoyance
The conversation between Jenni and Daniel seemed to coincide with each other. Even both of them seemed to enjoy their own atmosphere in their own dimension.
If Jack hadn't knocked on the door to tell Daniel that there was a file he needed to check, Daniel could not have realized it, and the two of them had taken more than an hour to contact each other.
"Ah, honey, it looks like I have to hang up on the phone first. I have a little work, is that okay?" asked Daniel at last.
Jenni quickly agreed to Daniel's words. She didn't want to interfere with Daniel's work, of course. For this girl, Daniel, who took his time just for her, was something special in itself for Jenni.
"This is the file, sir," said Jack to Daniel.
The young man nod his head, and immediately his eyes focused on the files given by Jack.
If he has entered his work, then Jack himself must say goodbye to Daniel's room.
The young man is indeed a workaholic, only because Jenni Daniel is a little more relaxed and less stiff than before.

A girl seemed to be trying to close her eyes, who had been trying to make the eyes closed. But unfortunately, the eyes loyal to open with their bright.
"Arghhh ... who is that woman? Why does Daniel seem to defend her all over? Is that girl more beautiful and smarter than me?" asked Kylie questioning herself without getting an answer.
The girl was really upset. Only this time in her entire life, she was rejected by a young man, and he reasoned that he had a lover.
"You !! I'll look for that girl," Kylie quietly tried to calm herself with the argument.
After receiving a rejection from Daniel, Kylie immediately drove her car to her house and immersed herself in the room, without anyone being able to disturb her.
She didn't want to be disturbed. Her feelings were devastated.
She thinks her love affair with Daniel will end well, and she will succeed in getting it. However, all the delusions that were in her mind are now just wishful thinking.
Why should there be another girl who got a Daniel who is a young and successful CEO before her, not to mention that his previous status was cold and not easy for a girl to approach?
Isn't it if she got Daniel's heart means the same as getting an unexpected reward?
Slowly, Kylie's eyes finally managed to close after her worries, as well as her anger, managed to throw out completely.

Jenni, who was previously still on campus accompanied by Edward, is now walking to a small cafe not far from her campus.
"I just found out that you can contact your lover and takes a long time to talk, especially I still remember that my best friend who I have known for a long time was a quiet, economic girl who only talked to some people, in fact, I didn't see that if you're with your lover ... this is progress, "said Edward praising Jenni.
Instantly Jenni chuckled with laughter at her best friend's babbling.

A soft nod Edward gave to Jenni.
Soon Jenni was looking for a bench with the right spot, while Edward immediately ordered an order for both of them.
After finishing ordering the drink, Edward stepped onto his table with a small cake, which he brought with a small plate in his hand.
"Eat up. I know you like this,"
"You are my best friend," said Jenni, giving Edward a thumbs up as she placed the cake in front of her.
The two of them seemed to have a small chat before the drinks that had been ordered were delivered to their table.
Jenni is happy even though she can say that she doesn't have many friends, at least she still has one best friend and one lover. That was more than enough for her than if she had many friends but did not fully support her.
"This is the drink, sir, miss," said the waiter, putting the drink on the table where the two of them were.
Both of them nod their heads while thanking the waiter.
"Drink, I know for sure your throat feels dry because all this time you have been eating sweet foods without the slightest drink," said Edward to Jenni.
A thin smile Jenni gave to Edward before drinking her drink.
"Jen, actually, I wanted to ask this from a while ago. It's just not the right time," said Edward to Jenni.
Jenni furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, staring at Edward as if asking what Edward had never asked her about.
Edward seemed to gulp his saliva roughly and looked at Jenni with a different look from before.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to want to know, but I'm curious. It's just that if you don't intend to answer it, it's okay," Edward said beforehand with pleasantries to Jenni.
Jenni spun her eyes lazily and told Edward to immediately ask her without having to play around with words that would upset her.
"So, what the hell is going on between you and Mr. Michael?"
Thump!
Instantly Jenni was silent and stopped sipping her drink.
Jenni slowly stared at Edward.
"Why do you ask like that?" Jenni asked first, wanting to know how much Edward knew.
Edward sighed softly and doubtfully explained why he was asking her that way.
He explained that recently he had seen the lecturer sometimes watching Jenni from afar without the slightest attempt to approach Jenni as before.
He knew that Jenni and Michael were quite close because it could be said that Edward realized that the girl thought of Michael as her brother, for that Edward never had any other feelings about Jenni's attitude with Michael.
"You know that I've always thought of him as my brother, right?" Jenni asked beforehand to make sure that her question was that Jenni had known it.
Edward nodded his head quickly.
"He misunderstood my attitude, which has been nice to him."
Suddenly Edward squinted his eyes and tried to voice what he was thinking according to his logic.
"Does he like you?"
Jenni didn't say it directly but just nodded her head and took a deep breath.
"He deliberately made a gallery so that I can put my painting there as if I was the one who held the gallery," said Jenni weakly while massaging her forehead.
"Then, isn't that great? You dreamed of it, didn't you?"
Jenni shook her head slowly.
"I don't need it, I will make my own gallery with my abilities without his help, and you also know that I do not love him," said Jenni.
Edward's reflex hit his forehead lightly. He almost forgot that Jenni doesn't like things that require her to depend on other people.
"Ah ... I understand, sorry ..." said Edward softly.
Jenni just shook her head slowly, not bothering the question Edward asked her.
