Chapter 3: 3 : A Path
"This Subject greets your majesty" Eve arrived in front of the King. Eve has removed the deadly needle from her neck before meeting the king. She also does not know the reason of this summon.
"My,My...Lady Eve is pretty even in her knightwear" His Flirty demeanor sometimes makes people misunderstand but for a woman like Eve who lived twice, she stayed calm but if she's the past Eve, it will be impossible.
"Thank you for your compliments" King Arthur was a single emperor who refused to take any woman as her Queen. There is a rumor that He cannot love woman and there also the story where he cannot forget her dead girlfriend but who knows?
"Well putting that aside...I summoned you for something really important" King Arthur walked down his throne and approached her as He touch Eve's chin.
"Will you be my Queen?" Eve regret her choice of removing the deadly needle from her neck and now she is exposed. Her face turn red as her eyes turned circle.
"Y-your highness...please don't joke... I am not worthy" Eve tried to look away but Arthur slid his hand to Eve's curvy waist.
"I am not joking...You are mine in the past life and even now or in the next life..." Eve was shocked but maintained her facial reactions.
"I-I..." Eve was in bind and could not say any words in return.
"Do not worry...I will make you the happiest person in this life. I will protect you" Eve looked down and feel so confused but strangely her heart feels at ease in this man arms.
"Then...I accept. I may not be able to love you but I will try to give my best as your Queen. A-also...please keep it a secret for now. I-I need sometimes. I still have something to do" Eve's eyes cannot looked away from Arthur eyes and in a second her lips was captured.
"Thats it! Lock it! Stamp it! Seal it and keep it!" Their forehead is touching each other as Arthur smiles and let her go.
"I-I will excuse myself. I still have to meet sir Konrad" Arthur blew a kiss and let her go.
"I will not let you go this time, Eve Morgan" Arthur clearly know that Eve Morgan predicted to be the crown prince fiance but since Mary Morgan is back, Arthur took that chance to steal Eve away.
"Just what happen to you?" The Knight commander Konrad Eli asked Eve after seeing her tomato face.
"N-nothing. Well how is my enlistment?" Konrad explained that she can be enlisted into the Imperial Knight but not into his division but to another division where she will be the leader which will move out under King Arthur command. It was unusual for Arthur to interfere with Konrad duties but he didn't mind.
"E-eh????" Konrad laughed as He can finally have rest as the Knight finally have another commander which approved by the King.
