Chapter 2: The cursed child
The heartbeat of "mother" suddenly stopped and he heard voices that were screaming. He then realized that this was his deaths touch and began to try and get out. But he was far too weak to do anything.
He felt as the people began to lift up his mother alongside him and heard them mourning. He tried to signal them that he was alcove but they seemed unaffected and after an hour they had began the burial. He felt as if it became colder and colder and was stuck in place. So he started to wait.
He waited and waited and waited some more but he only felt himself become colder and colder and became damaged. But when he was about to accept death he felt as if he couldn't die. His body began to regenerate but he was still stuck.
After what felt like an eternity he was able to somewhat move. His sanity was slowly but surely being rotted away like his mother's corpse. He felt as the earth began to surround him and his mother became a sack of bones.
He felt as if the worms and insects were crawling in and out of his eyes and mouth, dying the moment they touched him becoming stuck in his mouth and eyes. He tried to kill himself but he regenerated the instant that happened.
After about a year he was able to somewhat move and his sanity had long since been forgotten. He had begun seeing hallucinations of his former life and began to talk to himself cursing the gods and the people who made him feel this pain.
He had to begin to scratch the coffin with his fingers breaking them and regenerating them but continued scratching. He had long since developed an extreme pain tolerance.
About two years after the burial he had scratched his way out. When he saw the outside world he was amazed. So beautiful. He realized that he was in a forest and began to walk to the place his mother came from.
He quickly found it because he was buried quite close and saw a village bustling with activity. Chatting amongst friends, children playing and farmers tending their fields. He was first happy to see people but it quickly turned into hatred.
These people were the reason for his misery. They didn't see his attempts to signal them to let him out. If only they had seen him.
He walked up to the wood fences and began signaling for the villagers to see him. They quickly saw him and began to try to help him and ask questions about how he got here. But the moment they touched him he saw their eyes become dead and their body fell over.
They quickly began to put the pieces together and realized that it was him. They began to call him a doppelganger and started to attack him with pitchforks impaling him.
After they saw that he was "dead" they began to move his body but the moment they got close he jumped up killing them instantly. It took only two hours to kill the villagers and this was mostly because he was able to kill anything with a simple touch.
After killing the villagers he began to loot the village and put on a giant oversized cloak to hide his body and cover his skin. He also equipped some normal clothes.
He then took the food and tasted it. It felt as if the nightmare was fading. The food was delicious he had only eaten dirt and dead worms making him crave good food for years. He also took all the money in the village and slit the throat of all the villagers and burning the houses down making it look like a bandit attack.
When he was done he began his journey to find a city. He realized that this village must be pretty close to a city because it had roads so he followed them hoping to find a place to call home. And hopefully, make a name for himself by becoming a monster slayer or an adventurer.
