Chapter 26: Is he the one?

"Mother, I don't want anyone else. I only want you. Why would you even leave me? I will always be with my mother and no one else." These are the words the little Xiurong spoke when she heard her mother's words.

For her, she just wanted her mother in her life and no one else. Why would she need someone else when she had her best mother in her life?

The little Xiurong did not understand that her mother is speaking about a man that would enter her life by showering all the love in the world and may even make her forget her own mother. That was what her mother had hoped for; for her daughter to have a loving husband that would make her daughter forget her.

But both their hopes went wrong. Jiang Xiurong couldn't stay with her mother forever like she had hoped. Her mother's hope was not fulfilled as her place in Jiang Xiurong's heart was so high that at every single second, she would remember her and couldn't forget even in the presence of her loving husband.

Instead the love her husband gave her made her remember her mother more than before. The warm hug made Jiang Xiurong remember all the precious moments she had spent with her mother during her childhood.

This made the little moisture in her eyes to condense and turn into water. Slowly she started tearing up and that turned into weeping.

Feeling the warm liquid that drenched his robe, Wang Deming frowned but he did not move and silently dismissed all the maids and servants that were nearby.

He doesn't want his wife to show her weakness to anyone else but himself. All her sides belong to him and only him. No one can even dare to see them.

Once everyone left, Wang Deming raised his arms and slowly and softly patted her back. This gesture was the same as how Jiang Xiurong's mother did when she was little. This simple gesture would make her to wail loudly and release all her grievances.

Surprisingly, after so many years, feeling the same movement of her mother, Jiang Xiurong went back to her childhood and started wailing loudly.

Wang Deming frowned at her sudden wailing yet he did not stop his gesture and continued patting her back. He felt heart broken listening to her wails.

He also understood that she needs to vent all her grievances now and should not keep them inside and hurt herself. It is always better to cry out and let everything out than not crying and keeping everything inside while being eaten inside.

Now that he is helping her to cry out, though he is feeling bad, he still felt happy that she could cry in front of him. It also means that she slowly started accepting him, right?

He softly patted her and let her cry as much as she wanted and lent his chest to her. It would not be called lent now, right? After all she is now his wife and everything that belongs to him now belongs to her too. Hence his chest belongs to her too. So she is using his chest which actually belongs to her so it can't be said as he lent it to her.

He felt happy at his own thoughts and softly said in Jiang Xiurong��s ears, "This chest now belongs to you. So you can cry whenever you want here. But remember one thing, whenever you want to cry, you should use this chest. If not I will feel more sad."

His words made Jiang Xiurong to go into a shock. She instantly stopped crying and left his arms to look at him with her red eyes which were now wide open in shock.

How could this man be so similar to her mother? He said the same words that she had said so many years back. There is no way that he had heard those words before either. That was because whenever she cried, Jiang Xiurong would make sure that there would be no one around her except her mother.

If he didn't hear those words before, how did he say the same words as her?

Is this the man her mother talked about during those times?
