Chapter 59: Escape
As they are unpacking she receives a call from her mom and they have to get back to the party.By the time they arrive Rachel's family has already left so they just go home.
They just sit in the lounge and there's a tense atmosphere.
Bong Soon: (in her mind)She's really pissed ,I shouldn't have returned.Oh God someone please save me.
B.S mom: So whe..
Bong Soon:(cutting her off)I'm sorry mom I was going to tell you.I was just scared .I promise I won't ever get into trouble at school.
B.S mom: (chuckles) I already knew
Bong Soon: (surprised) What!
B.S mom :(laughing) You think you're really smart huh,well your mother is even smarter.
Bong Soon:(confused)But how did you find out.
B.S mom:(smirking) Well I've been keeping tabs on you
Bong Soon: Tabs?
B.S mom:(sulking) My daughter has become a liar so I did what I had to do
Bong Soon: (defensive) What else have I lied about?
B.S mom:Alot of things actually, like how you always lie about where you've been when In actual fact you were with your father.
Bong Soon: (guilty)But..
B.S mom: You don't need to explain yourself, there's nothing wrong with seeing your father .
Bong Soon:(sad) I'm ...
B.S mom: (cutting her off)Sorry? Don't apologize dear ,just don't lie .
Bong Soon: Wait if you know all this you've been following me
B.S mom:(guilty) I'm not proud but yes,I was getting worried so I got someone to watch over you.
Bong Soon: I can take care of myself
B.S mom: I know ,and if you promise not to lie again I will tell him to back down.
Bong Soon: Deal.
They shake on it and she goes up to her room
Bong Soon:(annoyed) Aish how many people have been following me!....Am I really that easy to hide from?.....I guess I really am no ninja..... (hysteric)3 people and I didn't notice either one ,what a joke....Moving onto important things....How am I supposed to solve dad's case...I think it's time I made a new board..All I have to do is find the assistant , maid and owner of the apartment .How hard could that's be
She just falls on her bed defeated
Bong Soon: (sulking)How am I supposed to solve this....im doomed.(gets up)There's no time to sulk I need to start working...But where do I begin....Aish let me get a glass of water ...i think better when I'm hydrated
As she's going downstairs she hears the doorbell ring but no one answers it so she does it her self and it's none other than her Prince charming.
Bong Soon:(surprised) Its like you read my mind.(she's goes in for a hug)I really needed this
Myung Soo: Do you want to escape with
Bong Soon:(confused) Escape?
Myung Soo: Do you trust me
Bong Soon:Yes
Myung Soo puts a blindfold over Bong Soon's eyes.After a short drive they arrive at the airport
Bong Soon: Are we here yet?
Myung Soo: Patience
He carries her up into the jet and as soon as she hears the engine start she starts freaking out.She's pretty scared of planes but calms down as soon as Myung Soo holds her hand.
In an hour they arrive at their destination and the sun has already set
Myung Soo:(taking off her blindfold) Were here
Bong Soon:(looking around) Where are we
Myung Soo: Jeju island
Bong Soon: (excited) Omo I've always wanted to come here.
She's starts doing her happy dance extremely hyped
Myung Soo: (smiling) Silly
Bong Soon: (hugging him)I must have done something amazing in my past life to get a boyfriend like you.
Myung Soo: (blushing)Awe come on you just took my line.
Bong Soon: Dummy.
As they are checking into their hotel Myung Soo books one room making Bong Soon extremely nervous about his intentions.
They arrive at the room and the question on her mind is "Why did you bring me here"but then Myung Soo beats her too it.
Myung Soo: I thought it would be nice to come her and let off some steam .Wanted to come earlier but I heard you had brunch with the Baeks how was it.
Bong Soon: Awe that....it was alot of things
Myung Soo: Like..
Bong Soon:Well first and foremost I got busted about the whole suspension thingy
Myung Soo: I thought we covered your tracks .
Bong Soon: Well Rachel's family was there,her mother kinda mentioned it ,I swear I wanted to die.
Myung Soo: Ncaww sorry babe
Bong Soon: No it's okay my mom was cool about it. And hey the weird thing is that Rachel is so mean but her brother is actually cool
Myung Soo: How'd you know
Bong Soon :I spoke with him before I knew they were related
Myung Soo: Omo we're you alone with him
Bong Soon: Yes ,are you jealous ?
Myung Soo :(fake smiling ) No
Bong Soon:(teasingly) He was tall ,fit and handsome.
Myung Soo:(smirking ) He might be all that but here you are with me instead of him.
Bong Soon: Yes, there's only room for two men in my heart.
Myung Soo:(teasingly) And the second man is your dad
Bong Soon: Yes ,you get me.But you're second he's first
Myung Soo: I know silly,so why were you sad when I came to get you.And don't even try to downplay it.
Bong Soon: it's him ,he wants to leave and go back to Zimbabwe.
Myung Soo: Why would he when you're here.
Bong Soon: Because ...never mind
Myung Soo:(sad) My dad is dating your mom?
Bong Soon: Yeah...
Myung Soo: I'm sorry ,I really am.
Bong Soon: It's okay ,I just want both of them to be happy
Myung Soo: Well I can tell you this,my father hasn't gone out with anyone after my mom died so he must be really serious about your mom he'll surely make her happy.
Bong Soon :I guess so
Myung Soo: We'll find a way to make him stay don't worry.
Bong Soon :Look I'm ruining this with all this sad mush
Myung Soo: You haven't ruined anything. Anyway go freshen up I've got a surprise for ,we're going to have fun tonight
Bong Soon: (nervous)Fun ?
Myung Soo: Yeah yeah just go on.Dont take too long
She goes in and takes a shower only to realise she didn't bring anything, but her clothes are already wet, She exits the bathroom with only a towel on hoping to silently borrow from Myung Soo who is out of the room but he walks in on her
Myung Soo: That's the wrong bag
Bong Soon:(screams) Ahhhhhh!
He runs to her and covers her mouth.
Myung Soo: Aish you're going to make the neighbours think I'm doing something bad to you.Dont scream okay.
She nods yes.
Bong Soon: You startled me
Myung Soo: (laughing) How can you not be when you're stealing
Bong Soon: (ashamed) I wasn't stealing I was silently borrowing,eitherway you're the one who brought me here with no luggage
Myung Soo: (placing it on the bed)I packed this bag especially for you.
Bong Soon: (opening it )But it's full of your stuff
Myung Soo: Yeah I like it when you wear my stuff but you have to return them .
Bong Soon: Okay okay now...
As she's speaking her towel starts to slip off and Myung Soo just grabs it and puts it back on her while she's just frozen.
Myung Soo: Umm...I'll leave you to change
Bong Soon :Wait...(sad)are you not attracted to me
Myung Soo :Why ask
Bong Soon:(shy) Well we've been having a conversation so casually whilst I'm only covered by a towel ,most boys get nervous when they see their girlfriend like this.You even fixed my towel and didn't even flinch.
Myung Soo: (leaning in)Did you want me to just rip the towel off you and throw you on the bed,rip my clothes off and ....
Bong Soon: (nervous)Okay okay I get the picture
Myung Soo: (smirking) Well I can and I might just because I'm more than attracted to you.
He just exits the room leaving Bong Soon short of breath and weak in her legs.
Bong Soon: (fanning herself)Control yourself Bong Soon..why are you acting his way..It's Myung Soo for goodness sake ...he won't do anything to me...(nervous)Aish but he did say might...Aish when did he get this bold...Its as if I'm the only one feeling this way...Aish and why does he look so good today
Myung Soo who is still waiting outside the door just laughs and calls her silly.
A couple minutes later she exits the room and Myung Soo is watching tv
Bong Soon: I'm done now
Myung Soo:Great ,I told you I've got a surprise for you.
Bong Soon: What is it though
Myung Soo: Well I thought it would be fun so I brought some con....
Bong Soon :(cutting him off)Noooooooo
