'This book..! Why is it in English, Japanese, and French? These three languages shouldn't exist in this world! Weird...' Rem thought.
'This book's author is Sakuto Ito... Why does that last name sound so familiar to me..? Just why?' Rem's head began to hurt.
'Urg... What..?' Rem rubbed her head in pain.
'Whenever I try to think about my past, I can't because I don't remember anything about it but this...' Rem shook her head and stopped trying to think of why the name, Ito, sounded so familiar to her.
After a while, her head stopped hurting.
'I should take this book with me. Can I make an exact copy of this book?' Rem began thinking of copying the book.

After creating a new skill by accident, a copy of the book appeared in front of Rem.
'This skill is quite useful..! I should search for some more books by the author named Sakuto Ito. While I do that, I'll try finding some more information.' Rem thought, storing the original book by Sakuto Ito in her inventory and putting the copy of the book she created back to the shelf.

About 3 hours have passed and Rem finally finished searching for the whole library.
'I can't find any more books by Sakuto Ito... How disappointing. It seems that this book is the only one in this library that has English, Japanese, and Korean in it. At least I found some interesting books.' Rem was holding a few books in her hand.
'I've already copied the books and stored most of the original copy of the books in my inventory. I should leave now... It's already 5:42 in the morning! I'm pretty sure the school opens at 6:00 A.M.' Rem looked at her watch quickly and put the rest of the important books in her inventory hurriedly.
Rem then got out of the forbidden library and jumping from the 8th-floor school window to the girl's dorm's rooftop. When Rem jumped, she was well balanced so her landing was didn't hurt nor did it make any noise.
'If I take the stairs, people will notice me since opening doors would make some kind of noise. You'll never know if anyone is awake at this time. I'll just climb my way down to my dorm room window.' Rem thought.
Only about a minute has passed and Rem succeeded in getting into her dorm room without being seen. Roy was sleeping comfortably on her bed.
'Phew... Although I know I didn't get busted, I think... It's still pretty nerve-wracking..! This sure got my heart racing! I really hope nobody saw me. If they did, as long as they didn't tell anyone, it's fine but if they rant their mouths... That would be a different story. I have my own ways of getting them to shut up anyway.' Rem thought about her plan thoroughly, making sure there weren't any errors in them. If one of her plans didn't work, she would have a backup plan.
'I'll activate the cameras back on... And... Done!' Rem activated all the cameras at her school.
Meanwhile, someone looking out from one of the boy's dorm's window, saw a black figure climbing into one of the girl's dorm room on the 5th floor accidentally. That certain person was surprised but most of all he was curious about what that was. Remembering the exact window the black figure climbed in, he went back to sleep. He'll find a way to get to the girl's dorm's 5th floor and figure out what that black figure was.
Back to Rem...
'Since I still have a few hours, I'll take my time reading the book by Sakuto Ito. This one is the most interesting. I'll read the others after I finish reading this one.'
Rem looked at the book's cover.

Rem flipped to the first page of the book and began reading.
[Day 1]
[We were somehow transmigrated in this world. Thank goodness we brought many supplies. Before that, we were researching if there was another world besides the planet we lived on. We did countless experiments before we got here. Anyway, today is the first day we are on this new planet. We don't know if there is anyone else other than us in the world we transmigrated in. Hopefully, we can find a way to get back to our past world but first, we will research this world. Then, we will try to find a way to get back. After all, we are going to make an amazing discovery and change the world forever.]
'This was written in English. Based on this, I can conclude that there are more than one people who came to this world. Instead of getting reborn, they were transmigrated here. Were they scientists..?' Rem wondered, flipping a page of the book.

[It's been a week since we've arrived at this world. Yes, we've been keeping track. During that time, we learned a little about this world. We didn't get much information since finding a way to survive in this world right now is our number one priority. The next few pages are the things we have discovered.]
'Are they explorers? I mean, if you discover something new, you could always sell that information but... What's the point if they can't get back?' Rem didn't understand why people would want to discover new things so much.
'Sure, exploring is fun... Actually, I've never really tried that before so I don't know. There're many things I haven't tried yet..!' Rem felt as if she was missing out on a lot of stuff.

'Yes, yes. I know... This information's about a few plants and monsters. Of course, you know them. I'd be worried if you didn't know.' Rem said sarcastically, getting a feeling that 002 was bragging.
Rem continued reading.
[Day 12]
[We are running low on supplies. We barely learned anything during the past few days... What should we do..? Our supplies are going to run out soon. Getting food and water in this kind of dangerous environment is going to be nearly impossible for us without getting harmed. The worst case is when someone here dies. We don't want anyone to die here.]
'Oooo! I'm sure they'll survive. Just what were they thinking, trying to survive in the wild, not knowing any survival skills???' Rem thought.
'Makes sense since their scientists, I'm assuming. If they were an explorer, they should get fired already.' Rem continued reading.
[Day 15]
[When we thought we were going to die and starve to death, a kind young man saved us. He brought us to the village they lived in and took us in. The village was small so it didn't have a name yet. We decided to live in the village for the time being since we had nowhere else to go. Plus, it was safer. Now that a few problems have been solved, we shall go back to researching.]
[Day 44]
[The villagers taught us how to hunt, fight, build, plant, and harvest. They have taught us many things so we want to help the village and the people who lived there too. This world really is different and magical... Most of all, it's very dangerous, obviously. To us, this world is full of mysteries, waiting to be discovered.]
'Okay... Now I'm confused about whether they're a scientist or an explorer. Maybe both? At least they survived.' Rem was confused but she continued reading.
[Day 127]
[We've helped the villagers tremendously in return for their support. We've learned so many things, noting all of the things we've learned on the next few pages.]

[How many days has it been? We've probably been living in the village for more than half a year already. There's nothing much to discover anymore near this village. There's a whole world out there! Sadly, we're going to leave this village and go on a journey to learn more about this world. Before leaving, the villagers let us name the village. We decided to name this village, Sato Village. A farewell party was held the day before and gifts were given to us. Our journey has just begun.]
Rem tried flipping the page but there were no more pages left.
'Are you serious..? That's it??? Only the title was in English, Japanese, and Korean. The text throughout the book was all in English..! Seriously? This is way too short. Just when I thought I found some more clues about who they were... The book just ends!!!' Rem thought angrily.
'Is there a second volume of this?' Rem wondered.
{It's almost 8:00 a.m.}
'Already? I took that long..? I guess I'm going to read the other books when I have more time...' Rem sighed and got ready for another day at school.
