Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Back home
Looking at the poor samurai, I could only sigh, after all, who told him to sneak into a ninja village without any permit? Not that it will matter to me what would happen with an idiot.
Walking towards Danzo, I noticed that he was done searching through the belongings and was waiting for me. He probably guessed that I will leave soon.
"So it's the time for you to leave, once again?"
"Just for a short while this time and I was wondering if there any Root members that would want to retire. I have some jobs offer for them that won't necessarily involve assassinations and kidnappings like most of the missions send to Root."
"I can think of five or six ninjas that would love to retire more than anything, but you know that they won't be able to live a normal life in the village, after all, they know too much and that information can be dangerous, even when they have the seal placed on them."
"You don't have to worry about that. Where I would take them, there won't be any ninja or shinobi able to mind rape them for their secrets. I plan to take them with me to the place where my summons are coming from and help me there run a coffee shop and maybe a pub in the future. Not to mention that Sebastian will also come with us and he will be able to take on most if not all of the threats that would seek troubles with us."
"If what you just told me is true then I don't have any problems with letting them come with you. While I or you could order them to follow you, I still think you need to ask them yourself, after all, you don't want to be a tyrant like I was and force the people under you to follow every single command of yours."
Said that Danzo took a stack of papers and give it to me. Reading the first paper, I was surprised to see some of the names written on it, but also I was even more surprised when I saw the first person that wanted to retire: Kinoe Tenzo or how he's knows now, Yamato, the only living being that has wood release.
The second and the third people were Nono Yakushi and her step-son Kabuto Yakushi. I can understand both of them for wanting to leave the dark side of a shinobi behind after what they have to go through, even more in Kobuto's career as a spy for Orochimaru. Another reason for what Nono wanted to leave the Root was her inability of losing her emotions which to be fair was a great thing, after all, she wasn't suited for this kind of organization, and knowing her, she would surely come with me, the same thing for Kabuto.
The fourth one wasn't someone that knows, but from what I read about him, he was also an orphan that Nono has taken care of, and he even sees her as a mother. From the report, he seems to be the drill sergeant type of person when he was training the orphans, but at the same time, he also loved them as if they were his siblings and from the final verdict about him, it seems that he wants to leave Root so that he could take care of the orphanage in case Nono gets old and won't be able to take care of it.
He may not want to come at first, but to be honest, I was swimming in money, and what could be the best way of using them if not by building an orphanage and have the children that are taken there trained as future shinobis, far away from this world.
As for the fifth and final person, I don't know what to think about her. Her name was Hinoto or at least that was her codename and from the report, there weren't many things written about her other than her abilities and the missions that she took part in.
The only thing that is written about her dream is that she wants to regain her emotions and find a lover even if that would take decades.
Quite a sad story, but most of the Root members are quite the same, forced to destroy their emotions so that they could be the perfect soldiers without hesitation when they are on a mission.
After I read all of the papers, I went to talk with Nono and Kabuto first. Thankfully for me, both of them accept my offer and Nono even offered to talk to Urushi and convince him to take care of the orphanage in my world.
With half of the people that I planned to recruit on my side, I went to search for this woman named Hinoto. While it took me more than an hour to find her, she was already informed about my intentions, courtesy of Danzo I presume.
To be honest, I was expecting her to ask more questions about what this retirement means and what would she need to do, but surprisingly enough, she just told me that as long as she could leave behind this life, she would be happy. With her agreeing on following me and being one of the founder members of the Anteiku's Root division, the only person that I need to speak with remains Yamato.
Now, while he lost his emotions as a side effect of being an experiment and a member of the Root, Yamato was one of the few people that truly cared about the village, and if I have to guess he will most likely refuse my offer. When I found him, he was eating ramen with the whole team 7.
I waited for them to finish their meal before I approach him.
"Yamato-san, I want to speak with you for a second, if you have time, of course."
"Follow me, sir. Know a place where we can talk."
I follow him to one of the training grounds that were sadly abandoned, courtesy of a fool named Hiruzen.
"I want to ask you if you would like to retire from being a ninja. I know that you left the Root when Hiruzen was still alive and that until now you basically cut all of the contacts with it, but I still want to ask you if you would want to follow me, away from Konoha and all of the dangers that are present in this world."
It took him a second to process the information, but even on his emotionless face, I could see the struggle that was happening inside of him.
After more than five minutes of awkward silence, he spoke once again.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I have to decline your offer. I will retire, but I will still remain in Konoha and help the village prosper. Maybe not as a shinobi, but I could create a construction company and build houses and buildings for the people. I appreciate your care for all of us, and how we want to escape from our past and regain our emotions, but some of us are still loyal to the village and will not leave it too soon. I hope you understand my point, sir and I'm sorry if I offend you with my honest opinion."
"You don't have to worry about anything, Yamato-san. I respect your dedication and decision, another thing that I respect is the freedom of speech and the ability to speak without a fear. Thank you for listening to my offer. I'll see you later, Yamato-san."
After I thanked Yamato for listening to my offer, I walked towards the hospital where Karin was learning.
The nurse that was at the front desk, told me that I will need to wait for at least half an hour before Karin and Tsunade would be free. Apparently, Tsunade was operating on a patient and Karin was there to watch and learn from a true master in the art of healing, one that was an alcohol addiction…
One boring hour later, I saw an exhaust Karin and Tsunade walking out of the operation room (A/N: I don't remember the name of the room so I'll put it like this if you know it, comment here and I will change it) When Karin saw me, she transformed from an exhausted person into a someone with a sugar rush. While I was surprised that she didn't jump on me and on the contrary to the familiar way of sticking to me, I can't say that I didn't enjoy the way Karin walked next to me, still happy and excited, and then she sat near me.
"Haru-kun, what brings you here?"
I looked at her and then at Tsunade, how was suspiciously looking at me.
"I plan to return to my summon world and I wanted to ask you if you would like to come with me."
Before she could respond, Tsunade intervened: "I presume you want to leave the village, considering the fact that you will go to your summons world. I can't force you to remain in the village, but considering the fact that you are a hero for most of the people that live here, I can't just let you leave without a good reason."
Ah, that's why I love this Tsunade. She does her job better than the past two Hokages and she considers the whole picture not just her selfish reason like some peeping tom…
"That won't be a problem Tsunade-san, the time in that world works completely different from how it works here. For example, I could live there for a year and in this world would barely pass a hundredth of a second. Now you understand why did I say that you don't have to worry?"
"I swear you don't stop to amaze me. Just do your things and let me alone. See you later, Haru-kun. Shizune, let's drink!"
After she left us alone, I turned my head towards Karin. Now how would I face her if, by some dumb logic, she would decline my invitation?
[Sector clear host.]
"Haru-kun, I don't know how to thank you for what you did to me and how well you treated me until now and I'm sure that you will continue to treat me like this or even better."
Oh, boy. I don't like where this is going.
[Not clear, I repeat not clear!]
"As for your invitation on going with you to that world, I'm sorry to say…but you escape from me. You are stuck with me and neither a god could make me leave you."
[Situation adverted. Good job host and god speed]
Thanks [Game] for the vote of confidence and for making my relationship a meme… Thankfully, Karin was just plying on giving me a heart attack.
"I'm glad to hear that. For a moment I thought you decided to remain here and let me chase after other girls, haha."
[Bad move host]
"Haha, indeed, How Could I Let You, Chase, After Other Girls When You Have Me?! Not to mention my Hyuga rival that also wants a fine piece of yours, but seriously, she won't come with us. I don't think that she would abandon her family for an unknown period of time."
"I don't know what to say about that Karin-chan. See clearly have feelings for me and I know that you don't like that, but I can't just ignore her. To be honest, I like her, not like how I'm in love with you, but more than a simple friend and I hope you can understand that."
"Just do your thing and see if I wasn't right and I know that you won't resist this sexy ass of mine so sho and talk with Hinata."
After a quick kiss, I left the hospital and walked towards the Hyuga's clan location. When I arrived at the gate, the two guards that were, well guarding the entrance bowed to me as a sign of respect and told me that Hinata's father Hiashi Hyuga was waiting for me.
Following one of them, I was led towards a meeting room, or at least that what I thought the room was. When I enter the room, I saw Hiashi waiting for me while drinking some tea.
He got up and signaled the guard to leave the two of us alone so that we could discuss.
"Welcome to my home, Yoshida Haru, the God of Death and the Slayer of Uchiha Madara. What brings you here?"
"Glad to see you as well, Hiashi-san. I've come here to talk with Hinata about something, but I wasn't expecting a meeting with you, sir."
"Neither did I expect you to gather some of the Root agents that wanted to retire for something and before you get surprised about how I got this information, don't forget that my brother is part of Root as well and he's also one of the bodyguards of Danzo, so he heard you talking with Danzo about that."
(A/N: Yeah, I pulled this move here and Hizashi lived thus Neji wasn't hating Hinata for the death of his father. I'll explain later why I made this move so just keep reading this long-ass chapter.)
Hearing his words, I've got to say that I was surprised, but from what I remember Hizashi was killed a long time ago, but it seems that Danzo was being Danzo and saved the man, thus making him a valuable asset of the Root it seemed and that even made the Hyuga closer to the Root than it was in the Anime.
"I'm surprised, but I can understand why you brought this information to the table. You want me to bring some of the Hyuga with me on the other side, am I right?"
"You are smarter than you look, but that correct. I want to send some of the branch members of my family with you so that they can build a branch of the Hyuga there. They will be loyal to you and you can even put that seal on them if you want. The only thing that I ask you is to not force them to be your slaves."
"I don't know what to say about this, Hiashi-san. I was planning on asking Hinata-chan if she would like to come with me, as I know that she has feelings for me and to tell you the truth I also like her. While I don't know how I will manage to keep her and Karin from killing each other, I could tell you that I won't hurt their feelings. As for making a branch of the Hyuga on the other side, that may be a good thing if, and only if they are loyal to Hinata, not me. After all, I'm not a Hyuga, and from what I remember Hinata-chan is the princess of the clan."
Hiashi smiled at my words and forming a glad expression on his face, he talked.
"Did you hear him, my dear daughter?"
I blinked at his words and before I could turn my gaze towards the direction from where the sound of a door being open was heard, Hinata's voice was heard.
"I heard him Otousan. Haru-kun, you don't know how glad I am now that I know that you also feel the same about me and as for your question, I want to come with you and you don't need to worry about Karin. I'll talk with her myself."
After that, we talked about how many and who will come with me from the branch family, and after three hours of discussion, I and Hiashi selected Neji's family and the other three ninja families from the branch side.
To be fair, I didn't want to waste any more time in this world, because I had enough fights for a while and boss-level enemies to last me for some time. So without any more delay, I made a bunch of clones to bring everybody to a training ground from where we will travel to the other side (DXD world).
One hour later, nineteen people were gathered by my clones. The four ex-Root agents, Karin and Hinata, Neji and his father, the three Hyuga families which totaled to ten people, and the last person surprised me: Tenten.
Apparently, she wanted to come when she heard that Neji was leaving the village for a while and who I was to go between her desires to be together with Neji.
When everyone was ready and all of their belongings in my inventory, I used the ability to travel to my world, but…

(A/N: Quick explanation for those who don't understand what I did here. Fucking with time and space doesn't work as intended and as a side effect timeline will be fucked up. As you have probably seen with how Haru's interaction with his kids has gone. He didn't remain in Naruto World to become a leader and neither did Kaguya has appeared courtesy of him doing whatever he wanted with the timeline and now that he wants to travel back to his homeworld, the timeline will change as he wasn't supposed to get that strong in an instant. Most likely this will be the only Singularity event that would fuck his world so please bear with me. Hope that explained something or at least made you more confused, See you tomorrow."
