Chapter 5: Knowledge is power part 1
So its been three weeks and no reply from Hephaestus, so I think it's safe to assume shes far busier then I thought she would be....

Maria: Ren, sorry if I am rushing you, but is there a problem? You taking far longer than usual today. Do you need any help?
Ren: Sorry, was a little lost on thought. I'll be done making lunch in a moment. Please relax and wait with everyone else. Smile*
Maria: Alright, looking forward to it.
As Maria walks away, I can't help but remember how this happened. I thought since I was going to be here awhile I should start a workout schedule, but then I came across some of the children that lived here. They invited me to play and as much as I consider myself above playing with children, I did so only for the knowledge of what it would be like. I am not a tsundere, Lucia is just teasing me again.
I found they were a bunch of children living the best they could, Maria is raising them well. I found it in my interest to help out around here, but living in the modern area does not do well in aiding me in that regard. So I just downloaded some of fgo archer's memories on cleaning, cooking, and some little things.
While Maria was at first opposed to my generous help. I was able to get her to see things my way, by making her refusal to seem like she was looking down me. And that she didn't believe I could actually help.
So I put off training you can say. Or not, giving care to the orphans for the past three weeks has been strenuous. But it was worth it, I guess it has something to do with being someone dependable than being their peer. Or perhaps the fantasy atmosphere and color of the environment getting to me.
I even taught Maria a lot of things too. I even got into the habit of giving her instructions and her responding in a submissive way. I believe Maria sees me a bit differently now.
I finished the meals, while at first even with the knowledge of how to prepare and cook, my body wasn't accustomed yet to the motions of Mama Emiya, I got through it. I got to say the looks and words of gratitude are great. Very full-filling feeling, while I worried that I was getting corrupted by EMIYA, Lucia assured me. Apparently, these feelings are my own and I should accept that with no shame.
Well, the rest of the day went well, and while I would like for this to continue, it can't. So if only that goddess could get her head out of the forge and get me that would be great. O, well let's hope tomorrow something will happen.
