Chapter 56: Matters of Love Part 1
"It is my utmost pleasure to meet the both of you. I am the Daimyo of the newly renamed Land of Snow and Spring as well as Shiki-san's lover and future wife." Koyuki greeted with a respectful bow.
This one introduction froze everyone other than Zabuza who was already excusing himself as he wanted no part in what would follow, regardless of what it might be so, with a silent cheer for Haku in his mind, he quietly left.
Before Tsunade and Shizune could process the new information Gurne and Chino had things to say in regards to Koyuki's introduction.
"Hold on a minute! If we're talking about lovers then I'm the first!" Guren exclaimed.
"Yeah, yeah! And I am the first, Guren is the second one but more so as the new girl, you should show respect to your seniors." Chino cutely added with aggression.
"Since we're all declaring our relationships with Shiki-san, I should say I was actually the first, then Chino-san and then Guren-san and the quiet Anko-san after that."
Haku added with her gentle tone and bright smile just to join in on the fun, immediately selling out Anko who wanted to avoid conflict.
'Heh!? I didn't want Tsunade-sama and Shizune-san to know about that yet! Haku you traitor!' Anko screamed in her head.
Koyuki, Guren and Chino then started arguing as Karin became confused with the importance of the conversation since they would all be sisters as her Shiki-nii-sama's harem.
Anko was just trying to bury herself in place and hoping Tsunade and Shizune did not notice her existence.
The sisters from Yuki were not sure where they stood. Fubuki was interested in Shiki if she was honest and even though she had never considered it, the discussion was making Tatsumaki think about it as well.
Isaribi who was a bit younger started having some delusion of Shiki just grabbing her and taking her first time vigorously, adopting a loose expression.
Haku just stood quietly on the periphery of the argument's circle with her signature smile as if she was just enjoying the show and had no stake in it. Maybe she was that confident in her position, or maybe just being one of Shiki's lovers was enough for her, no one knew but herself.
Tsunade and Shizune received multiple shocks and were just frozen while Shiki was starting to get angry. Not at their attitudes of fighting for the spot of his number one lover but at their lack of discipline in a formal setting.
"SILENCE!" Shiki shouted making everyone quiet down, even Haku lost her near permanent smile.
He then continued in a low voice.
"I expect all of you to be professional in a formal environment instead of squabbling like children, leave that for you free time if you wish."
"Although I appreciate all of your affections, I don't want unnecessary friction when it comes to performing your jobs, am I clear?" Shiki finished.
"""Yes Shiki-sama!""" Said Guren, Fubuki and Tatsumaki.
"Yes Shiki-nii!" Said Chino.
"Yes Shiki-nii-sama!" Said Karin.
""Yes Shiki-san!"" Said Koyuki and Haku.
"Good! now that that's all cleared up . . . I love you all as well!" Shiki declared.
And all hell broke loose once again as the girls tripped over themselves to show how pleased they were with that statement, each in their own way.
But there were certainly two women who were not very pleased . . .
Shizune seemed to have gone white and froze, Shiki could almost sense her soul flying out.
'M-M-My S-Shiki h-has so m-many l-l-l-l-lo-lo-lo-ve-vers . . . NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' Was the extent of her thoughts.
It was Tsunade's reaction that was truly worrying him though.
'After Shizu-nee recovers, I'm confident I can work things out with her whatever they may be, Tsuna-nee on the other hand . . . Tends to be a tad little too explosive . . .' He thought.
Tsunade, was standing in place, eyes closed and arms crossed emphasizing her breast while her body twitched from time to time.
Shiki, who had spent years living with her, recognised this reaction as Tsunade trying to calm herself down and think rationally but he knew it would always fail so he was just trying to prepare himself for the fallout.
Meanwhile in Tsunade's head.
'To think he got together with the Daimyo of the Land of Snow . . .' *twitch* 'From the look of things, that country is completely his now . . .' *twitch* 'I can see he'll be using it to expand his own brand now that the Reaper has become decently known . . .' *twitch* 'But still . . .' *twitch*
'The twitches are coming along faster. Tsuna-nee is going to blow up soon.' Shiki thought.
'But still . . .' *twitch* . . . *twitch*,*twitch*,*twitch*.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" Tsunade finally blew up.
Everyone was a little shaken with the shout, except for Zabuza who has wisely vacated the premise. Shizune seemed to have been slightly shocked out of her trance but was not doing much else.
"Is this an organization or your own personal harem!?" Tsunade asked in outrage.
Regardless of the danger of the situation, Shiki who was confident in his ability to survive and having decided not to lie to Tsunade and Shizune about his matter anymore, honestly answered.
"Uhm . . . both?"
The reward for the honest answer was a punch to the face that sent him flying.
He could have dodged but that would only escalate the situation, the girls were worried though.
As he flew in the air, Shik thought to himself as he sent a mental message to the girls not to worry.
'Tsuna-nee really didn't hold back on that one . . . Guess she truly is pissed.'
Regardless of his mental message the girls were still worried and moved towards him to help and to stand between him and the angry sannin but this only seemed to make Tsunade angrier.
"Get away from him you sluts! I'll deal with you later!" Tsunade shouted as she walked towards Shiki's landing site.
But despite her tough and disrespectful words, she was worried in her mind.
'I hit that shot full strength. Thanks to training with him, I can hit even harder than in my prime now . . . I need to see if he's okay . . .' She was already regretting her previous explosion just a little.
Shiki on the other hand, despite being unharmed, was not happy with the situation at all and though he had some things to discuss with Tsunade alone.
Telling the girls with a mental message, to go back to their positions or take a break and he would talk with them later, Shiki teleported to Tsunade and them teleported them away together to another place so that they could speak properly.
After his misunderstanding with Anko, Shiki endeavoured to pay more attention to the people around hi so as not not mistake theri intent . . .
That and some light genjutsu to tracelessly probe their emotional state. 'Cause you know . . . Women are way too hard to directly understand.
That's why now, he could tell Tsunade was mainly jealous and mad that he got a bunch of lovers without her knowing. It was not purely romantic jealousy though even if there was some.
It was mostly that her "little" Shiki had grown up and was paying more attention to other women when he use to constantly be around her.
As they changed locations, before Tsunade could even get her bearings, Shiki just kissed her, already in his adult form and pressing the kunoichi's hot body onto his.
Tsunade pulled away and tried speaking. "What are y-?"
But Shiki just kissed her again and again, her resistance slowly slipping until she finally kissed back with just as much fervor.
After a while of kissing and hugging and rubbing, their lips finally parted and Shiki just said with his teasing smile that Tsunade knew all too well.
"You don't haver have to worry Tsuna-nee."
He then leaned closer and hugged her gently as he whispered in her ear.
"You'll always be my number one after all . . ."
She just answered with "You cocky brat . . ."but didn't pull away and settled into his arms leaning onto him and enjoying the comfort.
'To think we really ended up like this . . .' She thought. 'At first I only took his words as a jest from a young boy who did not yet know the world . . .'
'After he helped me move on from the past and actually focus on the present, I started paying a lot more attention to him but even that little kiss was nothing more than a little reward . . .'
'But as I saw him act as the Reaper, his form as an adult and his behaviour that was as far from a child as one could be . . . His once harmless flirts were no longer so easy to brush off . . .'
'Still . . . I never thought I'd get this jealous once those girls started speaking about those things . . . Oh well, I guess i'll just be happy I scored a young, rich and handsome guy to take care of me . . .'
And so, Tsunade finally accepted her fate to be with Shiki just as he wished from day one. One could only wonder what Jiraiya's reaction would be once he found out.
But there was still one left, the poor Shizune who was left on the hideout.
"Well Tsuna-nee, I'm greatly enjoying this but we shouldn't leave Shizune behind just like that for long." Shiki commented.
*sigh* "You're right . . . Are you planning on getting her too? She deserves it. And despite not being so forward she was much more honest with herself about her feeling for you than me. She just doesn't want to show it out her own reasons." Tsunade responded.
She seemed to have fully accepted the situation and succumbed to the dastardly Shiki's poisonous fangs, just like Shizune was about to be. Hehehehe~
