Chapter 38: I ONLY NEED ONE WOMAN IN MY LIFE, AND THAT’S YOU
In the afternoon on the way home from work, Yudha texted Gina that he was waiting in the parking lot. Today they don't eat lunch together because Yudha has other business at lunch time
"Honey, I'll wait for you in the parking lot so we can go home together."
Gina smiled after reading the husband's message
"Now he has the courage to call me honey" Gina muttered at the time she reads Yudha message
"Okay, I'm gonna go downstairs soon," Gina said,
Gina then packed her things so she could see him right away.He saw again siska's letter of engagement with rico.
"Haaah."
Gina sighed loudly at it, then walked out of her room. It was almost an hour after work, so Gina didn't worry if any of the employees saw her with Yudha
"Hi, sorry to keep you waiting so long,"Gina said as soon as she got into Yudha car
"No problem, shall we go out for dinner or should we just go home?" Yudha asked gently as he tied Gina's seat belt
"Well, let's go straight home. I want to eat your cooking. Are aunt Ani and lina home?"
"They've gone back to their previous work schedule. Yesterday I asked them to be home because you were sick, I was afraid you might need something. Now you're better, so they just come in to clean the house at noon " Yudha explaining while driving
"Then we'll get groceries first before we go home" Gina suggests cheerfully
"There's no need, because there's plenty of food in the fridge for us to cook. Aunt Ani and lina will check the contents of the refrigerator."
"Good riddance"
Along the way Gina just shut up without much to say. Yudga who felt strange about Gina's gloomy demeanor, couldn't help but ask her.
"Is something going on?" His tone was low and gentle
"Um, this is siska coming into the office. He delivered this invitation to me. "Gina replied a little hesitantly with her head bowed
"What invitation is that?" Yudha asked because he didn't know
"Siska's engagement invitation with rico"
"Then will you be there, dear?" asked Yudha, who kept his eyes on the road in front of him but occasionally turned to his wife
"Hmm I don't know. But if I come they must be up to something. Either to torture me or embarrass me. It would have been better if I didn't have to come there." Gina's voice sounded sad, for whatever reason. Yudha then frowned at his wife's demeanor
"Do you still have a crush on that guy rico?"
Yudha's question startled Gina and turned to Yudha
"No! Why would you ask something like that? We do have a lot of good times together. But we also have a lot of bad memories that make me want to forget her "Gina explained firmly without wanting Yudha to misunderstand
"Then you can attend later. We will give them a special gift "Yudha answers in a flat, nonchalant tone
"I see you have an important gift for all of them?"
"Of course. And it will be a gift they will never forget." Yudha smiled in a smirk with an unintelligible stare, and bewildered Gina. Gina helps Yudha off his work suit when they get home
"While I make dinner, you can shower first. I'm going to prepare dinner quickly "says Yudha with a warm look.
She smiled and nodded her head and then hurried to the room to put their work bags away and take a shower. And mark, he went straight to the kitchen to cook so that their dinner wouldn't be late. Yudha was cooking with his half – rolled sleeves and wearing an apron when Gina walked to the kitchen after bathing. She couldn't wait to hug him from behind
"Hey, I'm sweating and you're done bathing. Don't hug me like this "says Yudha with a little turn to see his wife holding him from behind
"So what? Nothing's wrong, right?"
Gina did not intend to release her loving, caring husband from her
"It's not wrong, but I still smell like sweat"
"I don't care. What are you cooking?"
After Gina smelled the very seductive scent of Yudha's cooking, only did she let go of her arms
"I cook vegetables and meats. Wait, do you have an allergy to certain foods?" Yudha seemed so serious when he asked Gina
"There I have food allergies that make seafood," Gina answered
"Oh, then I'll make food that doesn't have seafood."
Gina just smiled in response to the husband. Dinner's finally ready. While Gina set it up at the table, mark went to the room to wash and change his clothes, and then they ate
"Try this! What do you think it's like?" ask Yudha while bribing Gina with a black pepper cow
"Yummy. Mr. turns out you're good at business, you're very good at cooking, too. I'm lucky to be your wife. But it's also a danger to me, because I might gain weight after not stopping to eat your cooking." Gina looks very cheerful, but when it comes to weight, she seems to cheapen and stare down
"It's okay with your weight. Even if you were fat I'd be happy. That means my wife recognizes my cooking skills." Yudha's sweet smile teases the wife
"Really no problem? But what if you're looking for another face after I turn into fat?"
"No way, ma 'am. I only need one woman in my life, and that's you."
Gina blushed, but she was pleased with Yudha words
"When you're done, you can take a nap because tomorrow we have a party to attend."
