Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2-FACE TO FACE
Nico who finished the vist of his parent's grave took a taxi to go back to his apartment.
After a twenty minute ride he arrived in front of a three storey building. That was where his apartment was it was not a big and grand building but an old and fragile building. He is living here for 2 years now this was the best he could do with his salary from the jobs he did. He did a number of jobs so that he could meet the two ends of the expenses but nevertheless it wasn't an depressing life but can be called a dull ife
He paid the taxi and the moment he was going to climb the stairs to his apartment on second floor of the building he was called out by a man with trimmed black hair and a well built body.
"HEY! NICO!"-?
It was wei Seng he was chineese who arrived here 1 year ago and was the neighbour of Nico.
"Oh..,Wei what's up"
Nico asked with a tired voice
"Man..your depressed as last year, the same. I'm not saying you should forget about your parents but enjoy your a little more then you will get the motivation to move upwards in life!"-Wei
"Yeah,yeah. Did you call to give me a lecture ?
"C'mon.., anyway did you hear there was the sighting of a zombie around the hospital!"-Wei
"Huh....?"
'what the hell is this bastard spouting? Is he on drugs or something?' Nico thought while looking at wei with a pitying expression's
"Ugh..! Don't look at me like that I can see in your face what you are thinking! It's true Nico there's even videos on social media. Check your fakebook and things once in a while."-Wei
"Are you sure it's not someone cosplaying?"
"Nah, no way. It's feels too original to be cosplaying. But thinking maybe it could be . There's no other way something like a zombie could appear right!?"-Wei
"Yeah, that's what I'm saying from the start. Anyway bye I'm exhausted today."
"Oh! Me too I'm also going to my room"
Both of them was about to climb the stairs but heard a groan from under the stairs.
Both who heard the sound stopped on the steps.
Wei whispered to Nico
"Hey...Nico did you hear a sound from under the stairs. what was that..?"-Wei
"Yeah...it sounded like some kind of animal.."
Nico whispered back to Wei .
Wei came down the steps to check under the stairs. Nico was exhausted he just wanted to get to his room and jump into his bed but something didn't feel right about the sound underneath so he remained there and watched what was that.
Wei slowly walked towards the space underneath the stairs it was dark in there and he couldn't see clearly.
"HEY! WHO'S THERE?!"-Wei
Wei shouted and because the building was close to the road some people passing by there stopped ,some looked here,some just didn't care what happened.
Wei who didn't get hear any sort of voice and couldn't see any movements relaxed and kicked a can that laid nearby to the place and said to Nico with a sigh.
"Sigh.., Guess I was just overthinking things."-Wei
Nico who was watching couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
What happened next moment was out of expections. Not Wei, not Nico nor anyone in the world couldn't have expected this. The future which waited humanity was going to happen in front of their eyes.
A human no it couldn't be called a human anymore a walking corpse jumped out of the darkness like an animal which set it's eyes on it's prey.
It's just that it's prey was Wei Seng.
"WEIII....!!!"
Nico who saw this shouted.
The moment Wei saw that thing he couldn't move and freezed up but he couldn't let it jump upon him so he caught it and fell with it onto the ground.
People who saw this started to scream and shout.
"THE HELL!!"-PASSERBY 1
"WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT?"-PASSERBY 2
"I..IS..T..THAT..A..A..ZOMBIE!!?"-PASSERBY 2
"IS IT SOME KIND OF PRANK!"-PASSERBY 3
"NO WAY! ISN'T THAT THE ZOMBIE IN THE VIDEO!? SO WAS IT REAL!?"-PASSERBY 4
Wei who fell with the zombie like thing was struggling. Wei grasped it's neck and push it away from him but like it didn't even feel it, it was trying to bite Wei with shouting out some weird sounds.
"AAAHHH!! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? SOMEONE TAKE THIS SHIT AWAY FROM ME!"-Wei
"GHAA!GHO!GRAGRO! GRAAAA!!"- ZOMBIE
Both of them were struggling on the ground but no one was helping Wei some were even shooting the whole thing in their smartphones. That's just like humans.
Nico who was Frozen upon seeing these unbelievable scenes suddenly came back to reality. To save Wei he took the iron rod which was near him without thinking twice and ran towards wei and swung the iron rod towards the head of the zombie without hesitation.
"CRACK!!"
That was the sound of the zombie's head cracking and it's movements came to an end. The iron rod was still stuck in it's head
The surroundings froze. Everybody there didn't dare to even breath in the situation there.
