Chapter 52: Chapter 52
It's been a few days since the Overhaul incident as the students involved went back to their regular classes. Considering Axel's role, only Kirishima, Amajiki, and Mirio were in the worst shape but they recovered quickly.
" The school cultural festival. " The class said as they looked at Aizawa.
" Mr. Aizawa, I just need to ask, WHY?!! " Kaminari asked.
" He's not wrong, sir. " Iida spoke up. " Villains, specifically the LOV, have already attacked us more than once. Should we really be doing this? "
"It's understandable, considering the number of times we have been attacked, " Aizawa said, " But yes, the cultural festival will be held this year. As for the chances of a villain attacking, principal Nezu has issued a full lockdown. "
" Sir, what does that mean? " Kirishima asked.
" You remember those bunkers that people made in case of the apocalypse in movies, our security is going to be comparable to that. " Aizawa said.
" Thank god! " Kaminari yelled.
" Will this really stop them? " Jiro asked.
" We have already been going through multiple scenarios of break-ins. Principal Nezu has taken this as a challenge to not let them in. " Aizawa said. " We have backup cameras on top of backup cameras for every area. "
" Wow. " Mina said.
" Well, it seems we will be fine. " Momo said.
" Anyway, the cultural festival will be held in 2 weeks, which will give you time to prepare. With that said, you can take this class to think about what you want to do for the festival. " Aizawa said as he got into his sleeping bag.
Iida walked up to the blackboard along with Momo as they looked over the class.
" Any suggestions? "
" A maid cafe! "
" A toy store. "
" A haunted house. "
" A deathmatch! "
" Fortune telling. "
" A love hotel! "
...
" Alright enough. " Iida shouted as the class quieted down.
" Since we can't agree with what we should do right now, let's do it later in the dorms. " Iida said as Momo wiped away all the suggestions.
" That's fine. It's been half an hour and we still haven't decided. " Kaminari said.
" Since you can't decide right now, you can do it later. Let's have class. It'll take your minds off the topic. " Aizawa said as he started a class for them.
Once the school day was over? class 1-A went to their dorms to decide om on they should do for the cultural festival, but like before they can't agree on anything.
They kept going back and forth, till they got a visit.
" Hello everyone. " Mirio said as he held Eri by her hand as they walked into the common room, with Nejire right behind him.
" Mirio, Hadou. Hello. Hello Eri. " Midoriya said as he looked at them.
" So what are you guys doing? " Nejire asked.
" We are trying to decide what to do for the cultural festival. " Iida said.
" However, we haven't made a decision yet. " Momo said before going to Eri with the other girls to greet her like with the rest of the class.
" Really? Can I choose then? " Nejire asked.
" No," Bakugou said.
" Sorry Hadou. " Midoriya said, " But we want to make the decision ourselves. "
" It's okay, but what are the options you have? " Nejire asked.
" Oh that, we have... " Mina said as she told Nejire some of the ideas they had, that wasn't inappropriate.
" I see. Then what about... " Mirio said as he has some ideas.
Eri on the other hand went towards Axel who was sitting on the couch, listening to some music to drown out the noise. The ideas weren't going anywhere so he just ignored everything.
He opened his eyes when he felt someone tig his pant. He looked down to see, Eri looking at him. He got and took off his headphones.
" Hello, Eri. " Axel said.
" Hello, Axel. " Eri said with a smile. She looked at his phone with interest and saw something play on the screen.
" What's that? " She asked.
" It's a music video. Want to listen? " Axel asked as Eri nodded her head. Axel lifted her and put her on the couch. He took out the headphones from his phone and played the music.
Eri listened to the music and gained a look of wonder on her face, while filled with happiness. Listening to songs for the first time was amazing to her.
The music caught the attention of the class as they looked towards Eri enjoying music while sitting next to Axel.
" Looks like she's enjoying herself. " Mirio said with a smile as he watched Eri enjoy the music.
" She seems to really like it. " Momo said.
" Considering what she went through, it makes sense. " Tsuyu said.
From this Kaminari had an idea for the cultural festival.
" Hey, guys. Let's have a concert for the cultural festival. " Kaminari said excitedly.
" Oh, that's a great idea! " Mina said. " We can even have a dance group to go along with the song. "
"That sounds like a fantastic idea. " Iida said.
" But who would make the music? " Iida asked.
" Easy. It will be Jiro. " Kaminari said as he pointed towards her. " Her room is filled with musical instruments. "
" That's true. Jiro, will you do it? " Momo asked. Jiro looked at everyone who was looking back at her. She flinched the stares but calmed down. The idea excited her and loved music.
" I'll do it, but I'll still need other people for the different instruments and getting them. " Jiro said.
" I can make them. " Momo said.
" Then we have an idea. Let's plan things out now. " Mina said excitedly. The class got to work planning for the festival along with Mirio and Nejire who wanted to help since their class was mostly finished, considering their free time.
" Hey, where's Eri? " Nejire asked as she looked around.
" Axel is not here either. " Midoriya said as he looked around.
" They are probably together somewhere. " Shoto said.
" He's right. They went to his room. " Shinso said as he watched TV while laying on the couch.
A few minutes earlier.
" What's this? " Eri asked as she showed Axel the video she clicked on his phone.
" That's anime. It's entertainment. " Axel said.
" Can we watch more of it? It looks cool. " Eri said.
" Sure. We'll just go to my room. " Axel said as he grabbed Eri and motioned her to stay quiet. He then walked to the elevator while nodding towards Shinso who saw them. Shinso zipped his lips. Eri saw this and decided to copy it. Shinso nodded at her as Eri nodded back.
She watched as a box stopped in front of Shinso. Shinso reached in and took a piece of cake before it went to Axel. Eri's eyes shined as she looked at the cake. She recognized it and looked at Axel.
The elevator closed and went to the floor where Axel's room is located.
" Can I have one? " Eri asked Axel as she pointed at the box.
" These are for you. " Axel said. " You can have as much as you want while we watch. "
Eri felt happy as she looked at the box. A bit of drool came out of her mouth as she looked at the box. She wanted that cake.
Axel noticed and brought her to his room. He placed her on his bed and gave her a piece of cake. Eri looked at the cake and took a bite of it. Her eyes widened as a large smile appeared on her face.
' It's so good. ' She thought as she kept eating.
Soon Axel brought his laptop and put on a comedy anime for Eri to watch, which they did while everyone else was talking about the cultural festival.
...
" Ehh? Really? " Kaminari asked.
" Yep, but it doesn't matter, you didn't really give him a huge role anyway. " Shinso said as he lazily switched to the next channel.
" He's right. " Momo said looking over the list. " He's just here as one of the backstage helpers. "
" Well it's already late and we have a lot of work for tomorrow. Let's begin it a day. " Iida said as he got up.
The rest agreed. Mirio went up to Axel's room to get Eri as she needed to go back to Aizawa as she couldn't stay in the dorms.
