" Axel. " Eri exclaimed when Axel revealed himself after opening the door to her room at UA with a bag on his arm.
" Hey, Eri. " Axel said with a smile on his face as he went towards her and kept his bag on the bed.
Eri went towards him as Axel kneeled to receive her hug. Eri hugged him tight while Axel smiled gently.
" Where were you? You didn't come to visit at all. " Eri said with tears in her eyes.
She didn't have any visitors, especially from Midoriya, Mirio, Nejire, and Axel who kept visiting her all the time to hang out. This is why her heart broke when she heard Mirio died. Tears fell at the news.
When she heard that Midoriya and Nejire were severely injured, she was worried about them. She didn't want to lose them as well. Axel was okay, but he didn't make any attempts to see her. When she asked the other 1-A students, they couldn't help either as Axel wasn't answering any of their calls or messages.
" Why didn't you come sooner? " Eri asked as she hugged Axel.
" I was busy working on something. " Axel replied.
" Can you tell me what it is? " Eri asked.
" Not now but soon. " Axel said with a smile.
" Kay. " Eri said with a smile, trusting Axel. " But why didn't come to visit me yesterday, when you were hanging out with everyone else? " Eri asked with anger as she looked at Axel who smiled at her.
' Fuck. She remembered. I was going to visit her with some ice cream but I got invested in Bakgou acting like an angry chef to come here! ' Axel thought.
" You forgot, didn't you? " Eri said.
" No," Axel said as Eri narrowed her eyes at him.
" Maybe. " Eri kept looking at him even more.
" Yes. " Axel admitted.
" Thought so. " Eri said smugly as Axel chuckled at her behavior.
" So what did you get me? " Eri asked as she stared at the bag.
" Just some ice cream. " Axel said as he gave a pack to her.
" Ice cream. " Eri squealed as she took one of the packets and opened it up to eat.
" Axel. Who are they? " Eri asked as she looked towards the door to see some of the eight bullets looked inside the room.
" Oh them. They are people who will help me with that project I mentioned. " Axel said as he tossed some ice cream towards them as they walked into the room.
" Hello, Eri. " Setsuno greeted as he looked at her.
" Hello. " Eri said as she looked at each of them.
" Do you I know you guys? " Eri asked as she tilted her head.
" Are you sure you don't recognize us? " Rappa asked as he pointed to himself. The other members just looked at Eri. She should know them.
" No, not really. I don't recognize any of you. Did we meet before? " Eri asked innocently as she thought about it. She squinted her eyes as she looked at them.
" We're the eight bullets. We worked together with Overhaul." Nemoto stated bluntly as he looked at Eri.
The other members looked at Nemoto with thankful looks as the pain of waiting for her to realize was over.
" Oh. Are you those guys who wore full bird face masks? " Eri asked as she pointed at them. She saw other people with Overhaul but never their faces mainly because they wore masks the entire time or never visited her.
" Yes. That was us. " Setsuno said.
" Okay. " Eri said as she kept eating her ice cream.
" Eh? That's it? You aren't angry at us? " Rappa asked.
" Not really. Though if you tried to capture me again and use me, I'll fight back and erase you from existence. " Eri said seriously. She doesn't want to go back to that place again. If she had to, she would fight this time and not rely on others to come to save her. Besides she doesn't have to kill them, she would just have to turn them into babies and make a run for it. Then she would tell Axel or anyone else about what appeared and they would take care of the newly formed baby.
" Besides, he's your boss now. " Eri said as she pointed towards Axel who was eating his ice cream, watching the entire scenario play out.
" That's true. " Setsuno said with a shiver.
' If we betrayed him, then we would be chased after by a monster far scarier than Overhaul. ' Tengai thought.
Nemoto nodded his head as he looked at Eri. She told the truth. Even in childhood, most kids lied to him as well, even avoiding him since they didn't want to reveal their thought to him.
" Um. " Eri said as she looked at Nemoto.
" Yes? " Nemoto asked.
" Aren't you that guy who followed Overhaul around the entire time and never left his side even once? " Eri asked him.
' That was too specific, but it was accurate. ' The other remembers thought as they looked at each other and nodded their heads in agreement.
" Yes. That's me. " Nemoto said. He couldn't agree with that statement.
" Can you give me your hand for a moment? " Eri asked as she held her hands out.
Enmity looked at her with a raised eyebrow before looking at Axel who just stared at him. He then motioned him to take the hand. Nemoto looked at Axl who didn't have any ill intent. Neither does Eri so he did exactly that.
Eri then used her quirk on him as Axep held him in place. The other members wanted her to stop as they had heard of what she could do, but Axel stopped them.
Nemoto watched her as Eri let go of his hand and looked at him with a smile.
" You should have your quirk back now. " Eri said.
Nemoto's eyes widened as he looked at Eri. The other members looked at her in shock. Just because she doesn't feel angry at the, didn't mean she would give Nemoyo his quirk back.
" You're going to help Axel right? I don't know what he needs your help for but if you're going to help, you'll need your quirk back. " Eri said with a smile.
That broke most of the eight bullets. They had seen what Axel was capable of on the way back. He teleported them using barriers. Where does he need help? Then again, Overhaul was also stronger than them, so why did he need their help as well?
" Thank you. " Nemoto said to Eri. While his quirk caused problems for him in the past, he felt empty without it. Like a part of himself was missing.
" So boss, what should we do now? " Rappa asked as he looked at Axel. After Axel defeated him in combat, Rappa decided to call him boss.
" Hmm. Oh that, we will be watching movies. " Axel said with a smile.
" Huh? " All of them said in shock.
" Yeah, movies. " Eri cheered.
" What you thought right after I let you meet Eri we would immediately move on to the next part of my plan? " Axel asked.
" Yes. " Most of them yelled.
" Also Eri. " Axel said as he looked at her. " Don't tell the others about this. "
" Why not? Can't they help you? " Eri asked.
" No. They can't. Not with this. " Axel said. " Promise me Eri. Don't tell them about what happens here or about them. When the time comes, I'll tell them myself. "
" Hmm. Okay. " Eri said. While she was curious about what Axel was doing, she could wait. He always kept his promise after all.
" Thank you. Now let's watch some movies. " Axel said.
" Movies. " Eri cheered.
...
" So what is the plan? " Nemoto asked as he and Axel stayed a bit back while the other bullets spent time watching with Eri. Nemoto didn't use his quirk on Axel.
" Remember when I said I released all that info to the public. Well, I'm releasing, even more, this time. Government secrets. " Axel specified.
" I see. Is that all? "
" Nope. We're working with the LOV. " Axel revealed to Nemoto while Rappa started to make his dialogue for one of the characters on the screen, the others joining in soon while Eri was laughing in joy before joining in.
" The government took advantage of the hero system for their purposes. They did things similar to Overhaul with experimenting on quirks and such. While the info is released to the public, the facilities will be destroyed and all the people involved will be killed. " Axel said.
" You made a partnership with the LOV for this one task, correct? " Nemoto asked as Axel nodded. " You'll have to fight them to make your world. They won't just allow you to do so. "
" I know. But there's still have time. Maybe something will happen that prevents it? " Axel said with a chuckle.
" Perhaps. " Nemoto said. " So why not attack now? The government wouldn't expect an attack from us and the league. "
" You're right. It's to give time for the league to recover after the fight. I'll probably discuss this with them tomorrow since I didn't do it last time. We can plan out the attack then. " Axel said.
" What are you to talking about over there? Come join us. " Setsuno said.
" Yeah okay. " Axel said as he got up while Nemoto followed with a cup of coffee.
' Though in this case, the day on which we attack them, isn't too far away. Just need to wait, plan and relax before the big day. '
