Chapter 1: Prolog: Enrolled into Sunray Academy

Someone fell down after being kicked.
"Is this the fate of the smartest person in the adventurer's academy huh?" Said the person who kicked.

Sunray Academy is an academy that prepares its students to become adventurers or become knights. This academy is the best academy in this continent, the Continent of Sades. This academy is located in the kingdom of Geron. Its nickname as the best academy makes this academy accept many students from outside the kingdom.
The students of Sunray Academy proved to be of the highest quality. With a very strict selection process. Altough everyone has the opportunity to take the test to enter this academy, the success rate for getting into this academy is very low.
However, passing the test wasn't the only way to get into this academy. Another way that can be done is by making generous donations to the academy. Thus, many nobles used their wealth to enroll their children into this academy, causing the majority of the academy's students to be children of nobles.
Sunray Academy only accepts students at the age of 14. This is because it is only at that age that the basic abilities can be measured.
Basic abilities are divided into 4 categories with 7 levels of improvement.
Basic ability category;
STR- physical ability
DEX - Body coordination ability
AGI- Movement Ability
INT- Intelligence Ability
Ability Level (Lowest-Highest)
E - D - C - B - A - S - SS
Initially, everyone's level is the same, namely at level E, what is different is the number of basic abilities a person has at the age of 14 years. Normal people have an average of 150-200 basic abilities which are divided into 4 categories randomly. Having a number of basic abilities in the range 201-230 is already good, will be accepted at other adventurous academies, but not at Sunray Academy. Sunray Academy limits those who will be accepted as students must have a number of basic abilities above 250.
This number was very high, even for noble children who always received training and education from an early age, it was very difficult to get that number.

"This tool requires blood to assess your ability, hold on." explained the officer.
A few moments later, the object glowed and pulled out a paper from the hole in the side.
The officer brought and saw the paper.
Kai saw the officer's expression with a nervous face.
The officer was surprised to see the paper in his hand. Kai knows that the paper is the result of his basic abilities because he has read about the tool in the public library.
The officer looked between the paper and Kai, and finally got up and went to the back, talking to someone who looked like he had a higher position than the officer.
The officer handed over the paper to his superior who was then surprised after seeing it. The man then approached Kai.
"I am the instructor of Sunray Academy, I doubt the result of this tool, as you know, this tool has been used many times, it might break. Therefore, I want to confirm these results by means of identification with myself, without going through tools. "
"Ehhh ... I don't understand what you mean sir, but if it's necessary, go ahead."
"OK".
The instructor places his palms on Kai's back then a light starts to shine from the instructor's hand to spread to Kai's body.
Kai felt a warm-comfortable sensation.
"If you feel pain, just say so."
"No, instructor."
A few moments later the light faded, and disappeared.
The instructor suddenly grinned and then patted Kai on the shoulder.
"Congratulations, kid, you passed the entrance test for Sunray Academy."
