"Leonna Viosta. Daughter of the Grand Duke Leon Viosta."
Jace with eyes wide open in shock couldn't believe what he just heard.
[No way....He's going to adopt that kid? or is it his biological kid that he doesnt know about?] No matter how curious Jace was he could not muster the courage to ask Leon.
"Who's Leon Viosta?"
"Me, of course." the duke said full of confidence and pride.
"You're going to adopt me?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure you want to adopt me, old man?"
"Yes, now stop calling me old man, and start calling me Dad or Father." The young duke scoffed at the kid he just named Leonna.
[Is this really the duke? how can a mere kid change the duke's attitude in just matter of seconds.] Jace who was watching them couldnt help but wonder.
As the father-daughter continued on their conversation the knight which Leon ordered to get Leonna's papers appear infront of them.
"Your Grace, this is all the papers regarding the child." The knight said as he bowed in respect, Leon took the paper in hand and scanned through them.
The moment Leon saw the contents of the documents Leon's brows twitch in anger as he tighten the gripped on the papers.
On Leonna's birth documents she was named as "Monster of the forest"
[They couldnt even give her a proper name. I have this sudden urge to erase them all off of existence.]
"oi, old man why do you look like you're about to kill someone?" Leonna with a confused look, stared at Leon.
"Because Iam." Leon responded in a menacing grin, dark aura covered the surroundings which made Jace and the other knight flinched in fear.
"I told you to kill only the adults not the children." Leonna said firmly as she looked at the Duke's eyes.
"Tsk. Fine." Defeated, Leon ordered his knight to "clean" the orphange but not hurt the children.
"happy?" Leon snorted at Leonna. Leonna just nodded as she squirm her little body closer to the duke.
"Im cold." Leonna said. Leon immediately took of his cloak and wrapped it in Leonna's body, then he supported Leonna's body with his arms around her like a baby.
"AHHHH!!! HELP!!!"
Then suddenly from inside the orphange a loud scream can be heard. Leonna knew who that screams belongs to.
[I guess they already started cleaning. They deserve it, a lot of childrens lives will be save without them in this world.] Leonna thought.
Jace paid no attention to what his colleagues are doing inside the orphange, he was more interested at the father-daughter duo infront of him.
[Normal children would be scared hearing screams of people being killed, but Leonna showed no signs of fear...Only people with Viosta blood can be this brave. Is she really the duke's daughter?]
"Why do you want to adopt me?" Leonna suddenly asked. Leon looked at her. Her red eyes are as glowing in the darkest of nights.
Leon's lips curved upward revealing a gentle smile. "I dont know. You just remind me of a little beast. Wild and uncontrollable."
Leonna with brows furrowed together was not happy to be called a beast. "Im not a beast!" Leonna said angrily as she lightly pushed the duke.
Leon chuckled as he tighten his hug at the girl. "You are to me, Little Cub beast." He said as he shuffled her long red curly hair.
"Then if Im a beast, then youre a beast too! we both have red hair and red eyes!" Leonna said, unable to contain his laughter. Leon Viosta Laughed.
"Sh*t" Jace was so surprised at what he just saw that he too couldnt contain his amusement.
Meanwhile, inside the orphange a murder massacre was happening, at the dead of the night there are only two things you could hear.
The scream of the people screaming inside the orphange and Grand Duke Leon Viosta and his daughter Leonna Viosta's laugh.

Leonna and Leon continued on their conversation until Leonna could no longer bare it and had fallen asleep on the duke's arm.
[She must be extremely tired. Its almost close to morning.]
Minutes later the Grand Duke's knights had come out of the orphange. "Is it done?" Leon asked the knights, his voice was cold and his aura had gone back to normal killing aura.
"Yes your grace, we also found documents pertaining to money embezzelment."
"Good. Brion you and half of the knights are to stay here and assist the other children to another orphanage. The rest prepare to move out, Lady Viosta is tired. I want to go back to the mansion as soon as possible." The duke ordered.
A silent gasp can be heard as the knights eyes widen in surprised. Immediately their eyes was focused to Leonna who was just announce as 'Lady Viosta'.
They spared no minutes to waste. Brion and half of the Viosta knights stayed in the southern part of the kingdom, while the rest went back to the Viosta mansion.
Leon rode his horse in lightning speed, with one hand on the rein of the horse and the other supporting the sleeping Leonna who was wrapped in the duke's cloak. Jace and a few other knights was behind him.
The Viosta's territory is located at the Western part of the kingdom, while the capital is at the Eastern part of the kingdom.
By horse it would take roughly four hours of travel time to get from southern part to the western part. Because the portal is only available at the Empire and the Viosta Mansion, Leon thought that it would be best to just go back to his territory instead of going back to the capital just to use the portal.
Besides, Leonna in not used to using the portal.....yet.
Through-out the whole journey Leonna was fast asleep. When they got to the Western part of the kingdom, the sun was already starting to rise.
The people who woke up early saw the duke, carrying 'something' and that something was wrapped in his cloak.
From a mile away, Leon can see a hand full of maids align at the front of the Mansion ready to welcome him.
[Hmm..Leonna might be startled if she see this many people.] The duke thought, so with the cloak that was wrapped around Leonna, Leon made sure that no one would see her, he wrap Leonna even more with his cloak but enough to let her breathe.
When they arrived at the Viosta Mansion all of them were pretty tired, the knights was beat but they didnt show it.
The Butler was the first one to greet them.
"Welcome back Your---" the butler, midway stopped what he was about to say when he saw that the duke was holding something, he couldnt quite see what it was.
Leon carefully got off the horse with Leonna on his arms still asleep. The maids who was align at the front of the mansion immediately bow at the duke, but they too couldnt help but be curious at what the duke was holding.
"Prepare some breakfast right away, and tell the head maid to come to my office." The duke ordered as soon as ge walked in the mansion.
The butler was still baffled. "Breakfast?" he repeated.
[Since when did the duke ate breakfast?] he thought.
The butler couldn't contain his curiosity anymore that he feels the need to ask. "Your grace, may I know what is that you're carrying?"
"I'll tell you later. For now prepare some breakfast, and call for the best tailor in the kingdom right away, and jeweller" Leon stated as he walk up to his room.
The butler was about to ask why but Leon immediately closed the door to his room.
"Tailor? Jeweller?" The butler asked confusely. Although the butler got more questions than answers he still obeyed the Duke.

Rumors about the Duke having a child quickly spread like wild fire. And the other nobles was not happy about it.
