"Looks like you two had fun," Makino said, giggling as she saw Kaya sleeping peacefully on Hakai's shoulder.
She smiled as she laid on the bed, resting her head on Hakai's other shoulder.
"So where to now?" she asked him.
Hakai didn't have the East Blue map with him right now so he tries his best remembering what was on the map.
"We'll make a stop at a floating restaurant called Baratie and then head to the Conomi Islands."
"Baratie? I think I've heard of that," she said. "Why the Conomi Islands?"
"It's quite simple, really. A certain Fishman is there and we'll get more fame if we defeat them."

The next day, Merry confirmed to Hakai that his order would arrive the next day, although he couldn't find a portable smeltery like he wanted.
To pass the time, Hakai trained and trained. In fact, his training got to the point that his daily quest asked him to do 10,000 reps of each exercise.
Makino did her best to keep up with Hakai, but being a normal human, it was understandable that she couldn't keep up although with enough time, she probably could.
Kaya also joined, but since she had never trained or worked out before, she collapsed after a few reps. To Makino and Hakai's surprise though, she didn't give up and tried her best even when she couldn't even move from fatigue.
Makino and Hakai sparred a bit and Kaya wanted to join too, but Hakai told her to rest since she was tired from the workout.
The day passed peacefully with nothing wrong happening. Hakai even had his fun with the two of them at night.
The next day passed similar to yesterday. They all trained, and worked out, but only this time, after they were done, a ship arrived at the island, delivering Hakai's order of metal.
Hakai looked over the items. It was everything he asked Merry to get minus the portable smeltery. 100 lbs. of iron, and an anvil.
Hakai transported the iron and the anvil into his storage as he went into their ship's storage room and stored them there.
Makino raised her eyebrow as she saw Hakai make the iron disappear and then somehow made them reappear. "How'd you do that and what are you going to do with this iron?"
"It's complicated to explain. Also, I'm going to use this to make weapons of course."

Hakai opened the shop and searched for the item he needed to smelt these iron into a liquid form and actually use them.
[Portable Smeltery:] 20 Aether Coins
[Crafting Dimension (Skill):] 1,000 Aether Coins
The second item was a skill that would send him to a special dimension that was perfect for crafting, but Hakai didn't have enough coins for it, and also, he didn't really see much value in getting it, but maybe in the future.
Hakai bought the Smeltery and went above deck as he placed it down.
He grabbed a couple iron bars, enough to make a sword as he asked Makino to fill an empty barrel with water to cool down the hot metal.
Placing the iron bars in the Smeltery, Hakai waited and waited but nothing happened.
'Shit, I forgot I had to heat it up. Well how in the hell am I going to do that?'
Hakai considered using his darkness, but that wouldn't work since that would just corroded the metal and make it worse.
'No, I'm a dragon. Dragons are magical beings.'
Hakai closed his eyes and looked into himself. Hakai felt his darkness screaming at him as if saying, "Use me. Use me."
'Hmm, well it wouldn't hurt to try.'
Hakai opened his eyes and used his darkness, an orb appearing in his hand, but this time, it was different. The orb flickered like fire and it was emitting heat.

'Holy this is cool. Well, more like hot.'
Hakai chuckled to himself, laughing at his own joke as he used his new skill to melt the iron bars to a malleable state.
Placing the hot iron on the anvil, Hakai applied haki to his fists and started punching the piece of metal, using his fist as a hammer.
He used the knowledge of an expert craftsman to forge and shape blade of the sword. He also bought items to sharpen the blade of the sword since a dull blade was definitely a no.
This was going to be his weapon at least until he bought himself his own Zanpakuto so he definitely took his time with forging the blade.
When he was done, Hakai went deep under the ocean to and transformed into his dragon form to not scare anyone in the village. Why? To use his scales.
Hakai ripped off a few pieces of his scales, just enough to coat the blade of the sword and transformed back into his human form.
He started melting his scales which acted like a metal and coated the blade of the sword with his scales, coating the shiny, white iron with a black, and shiny material.
To finish off the sword, Hakai bought a few more materials from the shop, all of which were priced at 1 coins.
Using these materials, Hakai made the sheath, and decorated the handle and guard of the sword.
When Hakai finished, the sun had already gone down and Makino was sleeping, same with Kaya.
Hakai didn't realize it, but he was so immersed in making his sword that he had spent the whole day making his sword.
