Chapter 27: Chapter 27
The marine fell on the ground as he clutches his precious place, groaning from pain.
"Oh come on. Don't be such a baby. I didn't even hit it that hard." The green orb on her gauntlet glowed as the marine began levitating into the air. "Hmm, I have an idea."
Placing her hand on his chest, Makino manipulated the air inside his lungs and forced it out of him, slowly killing him from lack of oxygen.
The man tried his best to breathe but it was futile. Makino was constantly depleting the air inside his lungs to the point that even if he somehow managed to take a breath that it wouldn't matter since the amount of oxygen that he'd be able to absorb would be too little to keep him alive.
"This is a pretty cruel way to die so I'll end this quick. After all, you're only doing your job."
Makino stopped suffocating the man and punched the man's head, killing him instantly.
"The ship is all set so why don't I join those two? They look like they're having fun."
Makino dropped the man's floating body and started making her way towards one of the marine ships as she soared through the air at a great speed.
"You all can rest now," Kaya said to the numerous zombies as they returned to lifeless corpses and the scythe began harvesting their souls.
Hakai too had finished, leaving one alive like he always did to report back to marine HQ.
Before leaving the marine ship, Hakai looted the ship, storing anything valuable and any food, or water in his storage which he would later dump in their ship's storage room.
He was currently in his normal form, his wings vanishing as he jumped over to the nearest marine ship which Kaya was in.
"Are you ok?" Hakai asked her. After all, she had just committed a massacre...
Kaya nodded. "Yeah. I made sure to make their deaths painless."
Hakai smiled and was about to hug her when he noticed that she was completely clean.
Kaya didn't have a drop of blood on her except maybe the bottom of her shoes.
In a way, it fit her. An Angel of Death surrounded by bodies, but not a drop of blood on her.
"Can you make your way over to that ship? I'll deal with the other one."
Kaya looked to the ship that Hakai was talking about. "I can."
"Great, let's finish this quick so we can get on to the next island."
Hakai jumped towards the next ship, while Kaya floated gracefully to the other one.
"Youngsters these days... The grand line is about to get shocked once they get there," Zeff said as he watched from the restaurant window.

Resting on the ship, Hakai currently had on golden rings around his ankles.
These rings were made by him, and since it was made by him, he obviously enchanted them.
The enchantment that he had on the rings was to make them heavier at will. Hakai actually made them so heavy that it decreased his current speed by half which would prove to be a good passive training.
Along with the ankle rings, he also had rings around his wrist which were also enchanted to be heavy.
He got the idea from Rock Lee, and Goku and seeing how they're all strong, he gave it a try.
Anyway, a few days has passed since the annihilation of the 5 marine ships that were sent to capture them and as expected, their bounties had gone up, and Kaya had recieved a bounty.
Kaya actually scared the last remaining marine soldier so much that he gave her the nicknames, 'Queen of Death, Angel of Death, and the Grim Reaper.'
Makino also recieved a new nickname being, 'The Queen of the Skies.'
Overall, Hakai's bounty rose to 100 million, Makino's bounty rose to 50 million, and Kaya's first bounty was a shocking 40 million.
Kaya's bounty would've probably been higher if not for the fact that the marines didn't really believe the survivors, thinking that they were exaggerating what really happened.
"Hakai, look! There's a pirate ship in the distance. Should we get closer? It looks... destroyed..." Kaya said.
Heading the same way that they just left, Hakai saw a ruined ship. The sails were tattered and their tattered and ripped while the hull had cuts and holes. It looked like it was going to sink anytime soon.
"Wait a minute... Kaya don't do anything. If this is the ship I'm thinking of then..."
'If I remember correctly, this is Don Krieg's ship which is currently heading to Baratie which means that Mihawk, the #1 swordsman in One Piece should be following right behind them.'
"Just sail past them. They're not our targets," Hakai ordered. If everything follows the story then Mihawk should appear and Hakai was planning to fight him to see how far he is from becoming the best swordsman.
