After the young man walked the sand path for some time , occasionally seeing carriages and people pass by,

Not only that but Huge white pillars, and smaller islands were floating inthe sky above the city with gigantic multi colored crystals under them.
all of the islands had a huge tree in the center, And the roots of each tree tangled around the crystal of the island they were on.
However the most of the other buildings lower to the city weren't visible duo to the huge thick dark grey wall, which was as dark as obsidian.
Standing in front of the gate, he saw that people were handing in papers or money.
After the 12 people infront of him were finished it was his turn.
The young man look at the guard,
The male guard had an armour made of steel which gave of sometimes gave a shimmer of green light and inside you could see that there was leather and chainmail.
In front of the helmet and the breastplate were red colored crystals in the shape of a star but with 4 pointy ends.
Next to the guard's hip was a normal leathery scabbard with a sword hilt sticking out which didn't fit with the aesthetics of his armour.
'What is your business here in almarl?' the guard asked.
'I suffer from amnesia, so i have been walking the path which unknown te me, led me to this city.' the young man replied.
'Hmm.. oke, i trust you but we will take you in for questioning and maybe we can figure out who you are.'
The young man followed the guard who then opened a door which was at the side of the gate.
'The inside of the wall is hollow?' The young man asked.
'Of course not, that would weaken its defenses and foundation.' the guard replied.
Afterward the guard said 'The walls are changing shape so we can walk through, just look behind you' *he points towards the back.
The young man turned around to see the wall was pushed back together, appearing as dough being folded into one spot, or like the bottom of a steamed bun before it is flattend and closed.
'O wow, are the walls alive then?' He questioned.
Well eh.. not really its ..ehh like a golem, its not realy alive but ehh.. it also is. The guard said not sure on how to explain it.
'So it not alive, but it can move and react to us?'
Yes, it moves and reacts using magic, just like this city.
After walking some more in silence, they see another metal door.
After the guard opened they both entered, the young man entered first and then the guard.
What they saw was a white hallway with other guards, and rooms with both open and closed doors.
'You wait in here, someone will come to question you, and afterwards someone will return with information.
The young man entered the room while he was listening to what the guard said.
he looked at the room.
The walls were made of bland grey stone There were two wooden chairs, aswell a wooden table which had a plate of cookies.
The cookies looked plain, as if it was just dough and grain and nothing else.
The door emitted a bit of a white glow and closed on its own.
The young man sat down, on the wooden chair.
He ate all of the cookies apart from 3, which he left on the plate.
After waiting, he met a man in a basic black suit, he was asked regular questions.
while you could only hear mumbling in the distance while you saw them both from an elevated camera styled perspective.
Then after the first man was finished and some more waiting was endured, the second man came in the room, again the door closed on its own and the second man sat down

Your were born in the city sorionson as your surname says, And the first time you were registered as present in this city was 3 years ago,
on the tenth day of the second cycle of sun passage.
( basicly 3 years ago on the first of september)
And you seem to have been a resource scavenger aswell as a member of the almarl college.

after the conversation he entered a weird bronze colored vehicle which had pipes.
and so he was chauffeured to college of almarl.
The man who transported him via a strange vehicle said
