Chapter 29: Aw Sh*t Here We Go Again... But Why Can't We Just, Not???
AN: Yo I'm put this here to explain something real quick. So it is 1 month before Ais saves Bell as that is the "start" of the plot. Wiki says Bell joined Hestia 2-3 weeks before start of plot. But Hestia was kicked out of Hephaestus place 3 months after she came down, and given the church. So for those extra 2 ish months she has been trying to find familia. As she was rejected 50 times when she found Bell.. So timeline wise should be 1 week or so before Bell arrives at the city.
I say all this because I can SEE people getting uppity about how I had the first meeting so. I hope this explains WHY it went this way. That said Enjoy (^.^)

With that done I use the rest of the walk to continue checking out my new 'Missions' tab. It's full just random objectives, but pick three really simple ones.
One to "Join a familia", super easy for a quick 1,000 SP. It seems not only is stuff a ton cheaper, but getting points is equally as hard...
Two "Reach a Lower Level", is a multi-part one. I get 100SP per floor I step onto in the dungeon. Also it gets more the farther I go. 1-50 floors is 100 SP per, and 50+ is 250 SP per, WITH an extra 500 SP per 10 floors. Lastly I can clam it early, only if I do, that's it the mission is done no more points, unless I clam it after the 50th floor, then I can keep doing the mission as well.
Three "The Greatest Of Heights", is another multi-part one. But its more branching type of thing. I get 1,000 SP per "Level Up" I get. And it is doubled IF I raise all my stats to S before hand. Or again I can clam it early but no continuing on if I do so.... {Why would I do that???}
I left the last two unchosen for now. The missions seem to only relate to the world/ story itself... I also can still see my status from before but its, well a bit grayed out? It's kind of faded a little bit. I can still easily read it, so no problems there.
And I can still level up my job for now so that's good. While also feeling the limit has been removed for my skills, as when killing the goblins earlier I could feel 'Swordsman' getting 'EXP' not much but still its a good sign.
I also saw that my LCK went up to 50... I am really leaning to its lucky encounters, or the like, that up it.... But I don't know if it went up BEFORE we entered this world or after....
We arrive outside a big ole gate... And a line to enter... So after a few minutes of waiting in line it was our turn. And we passed through really easily. It did take a little more time then others as the three goblin cores were not enough.
So we used our coins, that was what made it take longer as we had to have them checked first. But it went well I didn't notice any stupid greedy scumbags or anything... We will keep an eye out just in case.
The coins are a 1c to 10 valis ratio. Our coins would be worth more, but they aren't "Blessed Gold"... {THAT'S A THING HERE!?!?}... It does make sense, sadly....
While walking around the city, I can't help but look around excited to really BE here. We do earn a few looks from those that pass by, we seem to have entered the West gate, so the Guild should be on the opposite side.
I turn my head to tell the girls."Alright. As much as I want to go look around. We can look more later, but for now we should head to Hestia's church. So we can join a familia."
"Why join hers?"Rei asks in confusion. "Wouldn't Hephaestus be a better choice?" Yuriko comments curiously, while a few nodding their heads in agreement.
"Well simple really. I like Hestia a lot. Yes I like Hephaestus as well, but between the two I think it would be better to join Hestia's while we work to make an alliance with the other. Instead of the other way around." I stop walking to say to all of them.
Shizuka give me a knowing look, and smiles to say."Are you sure that's the ONLY reason?~" The others snap to my face with piercing gazes.
I quickly turn away while walking I reply."Of course there are other reasons. BUT I'd like to meet them both first... I already explained Hestia should have been just kicked out not too long ago. Okay?!?"
All that gets me are giggles, and laughs from everyone... {What!? I like The two they are great women, and stuff... Well... In the OG they are... We'll see how it is now... I seem to have a soft spot for tragic/lonely women...}
Plus we still need to see what is different in this variation, but if it's like OG Hestia SHOULD have been kicked out from Hephaestus because of freeloading... And we also SHOULD be one month before Ais saves Bell timeline wise.
After a couple hours we finally find the church. It's a lot harder to find when there are ruins EVERYWHERE at the edges of town... It's good we found it, as its starting to get dark now...
I can't help but think this place really is in bad shape, its not fully collapsed, but still looks abandoned and in bad shape. Yeah we will have to fix that quick. Not only for my girls sake, but also for the love-able "Busty-loli". To be honest I never got that really.
I mean yeah she is short, but loli? HOW??? She isn't THAT short, or young looking to be called "loli" atleast in my book. While I'm lost in thought just looking at the place.
"Um. Can I help you?"I turn to see Hestia looking at us in confusion. (YES! CALM THE HELL DOWN FAN BOY!!!) I take a few breathes to calm down, then reply back.
"Hello. Yes actually you see we just arrived in Orario, and came here to find the Goddess Hestia so we could ask to join her familia as...GUAH!!!" As I am saying, just after the words join her familia left my mouth, a black haired blur tackles into me.
"RRREEAAALLLYYY?!?!?!? You can't take it back!" Hestia shouts with great joy. This does earn a few chuckles, with Shizuka pulling her off me into a death hug.
"Yup, yup! You just leave it all to Oneesan." After a couple seconds of shock, I quickly pull Hestia free, while saying "Sorry about Shizuka. you seem to have triggered her Oneesan side."
"I, see, that, was, scary." She says in between coughs, while taking deep breathes, and looking from her chest to Shizuka's.... We spend some more time talking before we went inside.
Hestia explains the basics of status, and whatnot as Saya asked her about them. After awhile we get down to business, with really joining Hestia's familia.
I have the girls go first... {Ladies first come on guys...} I'm also sure something is going to happen, with everyone cause if I remember right most start at 0-100 stats, or something.
And like I thought SOMETHING did happen... It was on the FIRST ONE!!! On Saeko's turn... This something was in the form a LOUD yell from Hestia, after she saw her status."How is your skill THIS high!!?? How do you have the Hunter skill when your level 1? And what is this 'Full-Marked' skill? And why is it linked to someone else???"
With a quick look, we can see all but her magic is at 200-300 range, with magic at 85. And her 'Swordsman' is Rank-D... Even I got nothing on that... AND She has Hunter-I... {Isn't that supposed to be only available after level 2???}
But the main problem is the 'Full-Marked' it shows up on the status as a skill... We had to explain Saeko is from a long line of Swordsman, so her skill is high. Makes sense...
BUT for the other two skills... We told her the truth, that they are all my wives, and that they have it from me... And that we have hunted a LOT of monster so far.
That's all really, as she could only tell it was linked to another, but nothing else. And that hunting 10K plus monsters would definitely give the hunter skill. {Zombies ARE monsters...}
It did take us a good hour or so to explain it all. {What??? She is going to be our Goddess, she should know SOME stuff about us... NOT because she gave me puppy eyes... NOPE! Alright 50-50 leave me alone...}
We had another similar issue when Saya had her turn... She had 'Mage' Rank-I, and Hunter-I, but the problem was she had 'Mana Sense' Rank-I as well... Something Hestia never heard of before...
The girls all had Hunter-I, plus something, or other that was shocking in someway... After the others were done it was my turn... As Hestia sat on my back I said to her."Hey mine will probably be even more ridiculous so PLEASE don't yell we will explain later."
I got a small "Okay" from her, as it seems she is kind of still in shock about everyone else... This is going to SUCK!!!...
After the Blessing {Status Board} was added, I go to get up. But Hestia doesn't move, I turn to see her frozen in disbelief...
"Oh? Look a great artist left a perfect Hestia statue here. I will have to find the carver later to have more made as this one looks almost alive.~"I can't help but tease her, as I roll over, pick her up then set her aside.
That seemed to have "Awoken" her, as she launched a barrage of questions. We answered a number of them honestly, as they were simple things, but the more "Important" ones we deflected, with half-truths.
{We had too, they were about stuff NOT of this world so...} It took a full hour before Hestia was satisfied enough. But she did end it while saying, with a very serious look.
"I know you are keeping things from me... But I will wait for you to tell me the FULL truth when you are ready, Also as you are my familia now please call me Hestia."
"I'm sorry Hestia there are somethings that we just won't tell others, atleast for now." I reply while bowing my head towards her.
This earns me a sigh, with an "I understand." from her. We then start to take out food to eat dinner as it'd quiet late... We got a look from Hestia for pulling food out of thin air... We explained we were able to store things in a separate space...
This got us a small smile. As it wasn't a lie in ANYWAY... I just left a small part out... I'm sure she caught that, but still seems happy we told her what we did...{Leave me alone she looked so sad. I couldn't NOT tell her something....}
So with that done I did look at my status through my systems, and I can now see I have 2 different ones. One that is my "True", and the other is "World".
So "True" is from my system, and seems to feed into the other. "World" is Danmachi's status and mine looks like this.

It looks like all of my spells are counted as one spell the "Wizard's Spellbook" I can select it to expand it for the whole list, but only from through my status.
Sage explained that my "True" stats should basically be my starting point for after I "level-up". So every level up I will start at those. But to know more it will take time, and I'll need to level up to see how it will affect my true status.
Leveling up will be a ways, away cause you can bet your sweet ASS I'ma get all S stats before I do... Or see if I can go past S like Bell did...
With that our next big problem happened... There are a full TEN of us here... Its already a little cramped... And the other room down here here is too small for the 9 of us... It's like a small walk-in closet WAY too small...
I really thought about just saying fuck it, and putting the Bus upstairs inside, but I didn't... I mean I didn't want Hestia to die from shock, what with everything else that happened before... So we went with the "lesser" shock...
It wasn't that bad, as we just stored the table, and couch. Then I pulled out a nice big ole bed for us hehe...Hestia.exe stuttered for a bit. After a couple seconds she touches the bed, then asks.
"Um. Can I join all of you on the bed? I don't mean like--" Before she can even finish, I cut her off by placing a finger over her mouth.
While I looked into her eyes saying. "I know. And I understand what you meant. You have kept your virginity for a monstrous amount of time, so even if I wanted to, I would never do so. I wish to see you as family rather than more atleast for now."
Once I finish, I pull her into a hug and start to lightly stroke her back. She seemed really confused, but played along seeing I only wanted to comfort her, and not sensing any lies from me.
I do notice she looks to be becoming sad, about something... (Its probably thinking she lacks appeal...) So I simply say. "Hestia you ARE beautiful no matter what you, or anyone else thinks."
She looks to have a hard crash in her .exe at that. And she looked super cute as she was blushing hard.{Almost like a tomato haha} But ultimately I decide to stop teasing her, after a minute or so. I did earn a few giggles, and knowing looks from the girls though...
But it seems she is REALLY weak to complements similar to in the OG so that's nice to know. It's going to be SO much fun teasing her haha.
With that we finish getting ready for bed, and lay down to sleep. I mean the bed is hella comfy, but Hestia slept off to the side while Shizuka used her as a body pillow...{There was NO snu-snu. (T.T)}
Atleast that's what I thought til a purple haired MILF slipped under the sheets.(Wow she is thirsty!)... I couldn't move without waking everyone, and wasn't really against Yuriko having some fun... {It also was kind of a thrill to not be caught. It felt so naughty hehe.}
After morning I awoke to a purple tag team this time..."Hey come on Saeko I get, but Yuriko you had your fun last night..."I whisper to the two succubi.
With a small pop Yuriko releases what she was slurping, to look up at me, while teasingly saying."That was last night, and this is now. And I want my protein shake.~~" She then return to down below, with Saeko giving a quiet "Fuufuu~" chuckle.
Yeah... I got nothing that's HOT!!!... After AHEM! Sometime everyone is up, well except Shizuka, and Hestia.... Those two are still out cold... Also not going to lie seeing the two tangled is kind of hot, but also makes my back hurt... {Lets just say they are sleeping in a pile...}

So there is the REAL start ish of Danmachi... Also... About Yuriko the AHEM plan is for her to be.... REALLY thirsty.... AHEM!... As she WAS more or less denied for some years... so.... Moving on..... How do you guys like it so far?
Also any iffy about Hestia joining on the bed, I'm just saying she always slept with/on bell in the OG so to me it makes sense. Plus the bed is SUPER comfy.... I get they really just met BUT they are her familia so....
Plus Gods/Goddesses can tell when others lie.(Atleast I'm making it that way if not in the OG)...
Next. I really didn't want to do the FULL explaining stuff with Hestia simply because it would really be just repeating stuff.... So.... I just wrote basic "Cliff-Notes" of it instead.
Also the MC's "True" Status will NOT be updated until they leave the world. UNLESS it is something bought from the shop, or "Job" wise. BUT he will be able to see any changes he will get before leaving. I mean more like his stats won't increase till travel most likely.
Next do you guys want the girls status? Like starting ones, then on level up? Or not really? Let me know.
For anyone that wants to know/whatnot. The MC's skills "Hunter"and others added would count as ones lost when group travels, so to keep them he would have to pick them. But IF they give him knowledge then that is kept just not the actual skill its self.
(Example- Gets a skill like "Butchering" or something. He would still KNOW how to do stuff, but wouldn't receive any extra bonuses for butchering something. Like would no longer get #% to get more stuff or the like.)
Lastly my problem now is trying NOT to add EVERYONE. And to try to keep them somewhat relevant if they do join the harem.... I know it will become one joins then next world or two they are background if that... I'm just trying to delay the inevitability.... (T.T) you know? {BAD Thanos LEAVE ME ALONE!!!}[lol Marvel ref]
I am SUPER scared if/when it goes to DxD.... SO many GREAT women.... I mean don't ALL FFs go to DxD eventually? {Again? BACK Thanos back!}

So I do plan to add something for "Age"/"Aging"/"Youth" ish things, they will be coming up sometime before too long. {The plan is to have it be added with a higher numbered mark as a SN} I am saying this now for those who asked, or brought something like that up. So this way you guys will know it IS coming. cause I mean it MAKES sense to get something like that for a harem so...
Also I will be adding something for them, as currently the girls have NO real way to see their "True" status. And YES the stuff of 10% + 2 skills applies to them as well.
And am planning for Haruhime. Now this also means Aisha because to me they are more of a pair in my book really. Plus she is hot with a caring side so.... Now for Hephaestus... I can't see anyway that Tsubaki wouldn't be included with her, as they are both fixed with their eyes... So she will be in too...
Eina is a NO for now as I have something else planned for her... On the twins... I have an idea on HOW to do both of them, but that is a super slippery slop... As it opens the doors for SO many more... But we'll see... Next Artemis I will 100% SAVE her. Her joining is hard to NOT do with saving her... Just like Hephaestus so....
WHY does Danmachi have so many hot women with sad stories??? Well most harem do as well really.... *Sigh*
