Chapter 25: Amashumi amabili nesihlanu

As soon as our lips touched, I felt a surge of energy shoot inside me. It started from out lips, as if the merging of my breath with hers had caused some cosmic event. I suppose it had. We were becoming one. I surrendered myself to her touch and her warmth. In fact, she was heating up. My hand on her cheek felt like my hand on the face of the naked Sun. the plasma was nibbling on my skin as I gently stroked her cheek.

We parted for air and smiled against each other's lips. I slowly opened my eyes. Only this time, I was not met by her soft lilac gaze. Instead, her eyes were encircled by a bright red flame that bordered her electric purple iris.
