Chapter 2: Chapter 1

This.. was most certainly a new experience. I remember being Clarke Griffin and I also remember clearly being Alexandra, but now I am neither and both at the same time. I still feet the loss that Clarke went through with the loss of her family, friends and daughter but it almost feels blunted or something. Still there but now more manageable, as it was still my loss but also not at the same time.

I also have the memories of Alexandra, a normal girl who lead a normal life in a normal world who also has extraordinary knowledge of our old world as well as this current world. With that knowledge I am fairly sure I am on Catarina Island off of the coast of California. The population and infrastructure of this island is tiny compared to what the island was modeled off of, Catalina Island but they serve the same purposes for the most part as a nature preserve of sorts as well as a tourist attraction and park.

Thankfully there were some hotels and living places and things such as stores and other shops that could be looted as needed as I don't know if or when the Abigail will make shore, or if they already have and left. But I don't believe they have as the family from the show is still intact here as I already scouted them out under cloak.

The only real negative is that there are unlikely to be any real weapons other than maybe some knives on the entire island being as it's more of a tourist attraction than anything though I guess I could always get lucky with a hunting rifle. The people would have to protect themselves if they went out right or at least to protect the tourists from dangerous animals?

Oh well only time will tell. There are also boats in the small harbor but it's also crawling with infected. But I should be able to use one of those fast ferries to get those people the Abigail left behind if I can get it working quickly enough.

Another fun discovery was that I could use my helmet to serf this earths version of the internet by hacking into the still intact satellites. That's good, at least I won't be bored I suppose but the real boon was satellite tracking and surveillance, it was all operational still if you actually had the ability to access it. I was tempted to lock everybody else out of it but instead simply settled on making it so nobody could screw with them by shutting them down or self destructing the more 'delicate' ones.

I did use the satellites to search for boats or ships still on the water near my location and the Abigail was quickly found maybe a hundred miles or so from shore, it must be starting soon. I also saw the little boat that strand would be passing by in a few hours, about a dozen or two survivors on board that would probably be dead in a day or two if something or somebody didn't kill them sooner.

With that info Clarkes self sacrificial side reared it's head and I was almost compelled to help them if they were worth helping and to find out if they were worth it I had to get to them and to get to them I needed a boat and to get a boat I had to clear the dead from the dock' god damnit! That's annoying as fuck just thinking about all the work I'd have to do. At least the still surviving ferries looked to be in good condition, that's something at least.

The plus side is that I can just go stealth for the most part and gank the zombies in the head without them seeing me. I just gotta worry about smell and sound.

————————————————

It's quite obnoxious having to keep running from these bastards, well more like walking backwards as I stabby stab them in the head but still the point stands. It's annoying. They can't see me, but when I get close they start looking for something and moving in my direction, even if they don't try to grab at me specifically, I still gotta be cautious.

It takes a few hours to clear the nearest boat that would be capable of making the trip where the satellite has the life raft pegged. Mostly because I'm being cautious and trying not to get gore all over myself, call me prissy I don't care, it is hard as fuck to get blood out of these armor suits and I only have so many laying around.

After I threw all my bags on to the boat I disconnected the boat from the dock my moving the bridge connecting to the dock so I couldn't be followed by walkers while I move on to clear the boat.

The first thing I do is make plenty of noise to draw any walkers out from inside the boat. It's not like a fairy boat has a lot of places for people to hide. An engine room, small galley bar and a wheelhouse, maybe a few rooms or closets for the Captain and crew to sleep in if there are long shifts.

Only a little over a dozen need my call as I back away from the entrance to the sitting area of the boat. I lead them to the edge as best as I can one by one and stab/push them off as quickly as I can. Not being seen by them is a blessing in this situation. Also I didn't want to clean up Walker goo, or as little as possible anyways.

This is probably made easier by the fact that since I woke up from the merger I simply felt stronger, faster and my mind clearer than could be remembered. Maybe something to do with the flame or being a night blood? Or something to do with merging souls? Who can say really, it doesn't overly matter anymore.

The first time I noticed I was stronger was when I picked up the heavy as fuck bag of weapons, only to realize they were no longer heavy. I had to open the bag to make sure my shit was still in there at first as I was confused as all hell. That was an interesting discovery to say the least.

The next one was when I went to stab a Walker, the knife and my fist almost went completely through its head, my reaction time being able to stop the blade at the hilt so as to not get gore all over myself. The thought alone making me shudder.

Anyways after clearing the boat I went to the engine room and wheelhouse to check the condition of everything. Thankfully the keys were still there and everything seemed good to go.

I did manage to connect myself to the GPS satellites so it isn't hard to find people stuck out on the water. If I'm being honest these assholes are everywhere along the coast but I knew I only had the fuel to save those in my general area and there were only a few boats in the area.
