Chapter 28: Chapter 28: The Slaughter Begins
Soren having agreed to be taken in, began descending for a landing, along with the guards that surrounded him, and even though he agreed to be taken into custody, the guards didn't break formation, nor did they drop their guard around Soren.

Once they all landed, Soren watched as the guards began slowly closing in on him, while the leader took out a pair of cuffs from a tear in space, that Soren could only assume was his pocket dimension. And soon, Soren had the cuffs sealed around his wrists, and then Ava sounded out with a system notification that made Soren grow quite interested for a brief moment.

Soren was then led to the guard station that was situated inside the Zhang family estate, where he was placed inside a cell along with 50 other people who seemed to be weak, while they all were wearing the same clothing that consists of a dirty old cloth shirt, and dirty cloth pants, while they were bare footed, and their hair was all in a disheveled state. And contrary to their outward appearance of being weak on death's door, all of these people would live for billions of years due to their cultivation base changing their bodies, but due to lack of proper nutrients and other necessities, all of them had a malnourished appearance.

Soren turned his attention to the person who spoke, and saw that an old man with long white disheveled hair, and a thin and sickly looking face wearing the prison outfit, was looking towards him.

Soren then turned to the cell, and saw that all the prisoners were cowering in fear, as they looked up at Soren, and with a single move, Soren destroyed the seal on all the cuffs, and removed them from the prisoners before speaking.

Upon feeling their energy come back under their control, most of the prisoners in the cell immediately left with the fastest speed possible, while only one person decided to stay behind, and it was the old man who spoke to Soren when he first entered the cell.

After discarding the threat given by the Disciple, Soren and Lui Shi stood before the gigantic double doors, and with a "Light" tap, Soren blew the door off its hinges as he spoke.

Soren and Lui Shi then stepped passed the now rubble of what was left of the grand door, and entered the estate, while noticing that the main hall was quite empty, and giving a quick scan, Soren found everyone in the dining hall, and it appears they have yet to notice the intrusion, letting both Soren and Lui Shi begin their "silent" invasion, as they planned to raid the entire estate of anything valuable, before killing everyone.
