Chapter 3: Chapter 3
As the child got frozen stiff with a confused face, the doctors in the monitoring room got worried, few nurses rushed to the room whilst the main doctor spoke through the speaker.
Doctor-"Kid, are you all right? do you need any help?kid, are you listening? answer us"
Izuku-"Y-yes, yes Im... fine" Izuku has come out of his stupor thanks to the loud speakers and the door opened letting two nurses in.
they went to Izuku to assist him with his quirk.
nurse 1-"do you need any help? can you close your eyes and focus for me, please?" one of the nurses said with a sweet voice, and Izuku did just that, whilst the second nurse checked Izukus body with his quirk and then gave a thumbs up to the monitoring camera.
The first nurse guided Izuku through the process whilst the second one made sure he wouldn't hurt himself.
Izuku was extremely confused but went with the flow of things.
soon he focused his mind on his body and suddenly a small flame, not bigger than a match stick appeared on top of his hand. the moment the flame appeared both nurses felt the temperature spike, but it was not drastic, but what happened in the monitoring room changed that.
In the monitoring room they had many screens monitoring Izuku's vitals, and on one of them was a diagram of his body temperature, the moment the flame appeared, Izukus body temp spiked, becoming as hot as the flame he was holding.
For the doctors such a situation was not new, because many fire quirks change the user's body temperature but those fire quirks mostly come out of the user's skin thus increasing the user's body temp. yet Izuku's flame was hovering above his hand, not touching the body, still his body temp rose and stayed the same as the flame.
The nurses let Izuku move around the flame, and lite some items on fire to check its properties. everything went fine, he was able to move the flame 1 metre away from his body at which point its power weakened.
The Doctors wrote down the quirks aspects and inputted it in the system, finally they congratulated both parent and child and let them go.
through out all of this Izuku got more and more confused. First it was the fact that he had a quirk, second at first glance the quirk seemed like a mutation between his parents quirks(Psychic*attraction of small objects* and fire breathing) , yet when he was focusing on his body during the test he could only see his body and nothing else, no flame or anything like the nurse told him-
*Flashback*
nurse 1-"do you need any help? can you close your eyes and focus for me, please?"
nurse 2-"Now you should see some type of shape within your body, like for me my quirk gives my eyes powers, so my quirk looked like and eye,"
nurse 1-"exactly, do you see anything? if you do please focus on it and try to bring it out"
and thats when the flame appeared, but only thing Izuku could focus on was his body, so where did the flame come from?
*Flashback End*
Back at home, Inko told Izuku to rest whist she prepares his favorite food to celebrate this day. during this, Izuku had locked himself in his room to figure out what the hell is wrong with his quirk, and what the hell is this world?!
summoning the flame again, Izuku feels his body starting to heat up, but it's not uncomfortable... it's somehow energizing, and empowering... it felt like he got slightly stronger and faster. trying to focus more on the flame he tried to make it colder, bringing it down from around 550C to 300C, Izuku felt the flame become weaker and as it got colder his body started losing some of the energy he felt.
Now instead heating up the flame up to 1000C, through out all this the flames size didn't change, but soon some heat started escaping Izuku's body and started to melt his clothes, noticing this he quickly returned the flame and returned his body to a normal temperature... but there was another thing he noticed after heating up the flame... his body, mind and senses got stronger and faster.
It felt like the tiny flame was just a projection of his body, and he could make his cells stronger and faster like the plasma of a flame, or even if he trained, there was a possibility in the future to turn the small flame into lightning and gaining unimaginable strength...
But first he has to change his clothes and somehow explain to his mother how and why he burned and melted them... ;_;
