Chapter 4: CHAPTER -4
I ignored him but still sat beside him.
"I know you are a little bit upset because you wanted to go but I ditched you at the last moment. So I just want to --" Dhruv said but I didn't let him complete his sentence and said in between.
"I am not feeling upset, infact I didn't even wanted to go so I am happy that you changed your decision at the last moment." I said while giving a fake smile. Well I really didn't wanted to go so I am happy but I don't know why I am faking it and feeling sad.
"Still playing hard to get. I like it" Dhruv said.
"Dhruv you have a girlfriend, you should focus on her not on an ugly nerdy junior" I said.
"Well you are not that much ugly" Dhruv said.
"Then it mean I am a little bit ugly" I asked.
"Yes that's the truth and you can't change it but if you will not wear your glasses and will use contact lenses instead and also if you will apply a little bit of makeup and change your dressing style then you can become a little bit like my friends" Dhruv said and start giving me advice.
He said it is true that I am a little bit ugly. Okay I knew I am not that much beautiful but still he shouldn't have said that right in front of me. He should have atleast complimented me but no he didn't, instead he started giving me advice so that I can become pretty like his friends well they were not that much beautiful they are just some plastic fake dolls. Anyone can look good by applying makeup.
I was just sitting beside him listening to him as he gave me some more knowledge about fashion. I can't bear him for another minute I should just stop him.
"Listen Dhruv, I will never become as beautiful as your friends so I don't need your advice. As your friends said yesterday I don't have standards like you. You are so much popular and I am just a new fresher. So why are you wasting your time on me. You can just go and spend time with your Anika." I said. Was I a little bit harsh?. Well gues yeah I was a little bit harsh but it doesn't matter much. I can't just listen to him to know what shall I do and what I shouldn't.
"Wow I was just helping you so that you can get some friends. I saw you being alone at many times. So I just want to help you and just be grateful that me,Dhruv, is helping you" Dhruv said. Actually he was right I don't have any friend but I don't want to change my style only to get some friends.
"Why should I feel grateful?" I asked.
"Just turn around and see the girls in the room you will get your answer" Dhruv said and I looked around. Well why are the all glaring at me?. I looked everyone's expression they all were angry. But why?.
"Have I done something wrong?" I asked Dhruv.
"Nope" Dhruv said.
"Then why they all are staring at me like this" I asked.
"Because you are with me kiara. One third of the girls in this college are my fangirls. And you know they have tried so hard but they didn't ever got the chance to talk to me like this. So they are just jealous from you. " Dhruv said.
"Oh if that's the matter then I don't really want to sit with you I will just sit somewhere else and let them sit here with you" I said.
"No you are not going anywhere" Dhruv said.
"And why?" I asked.
"Because I am saying" Dhruv said.
"And why should I listen to you?" I asked.
"Please kiara why can't you just listen to me for once" Dhruv said.
"Well I had listen to you for once but you just shooed me away at that time"I said referring to the club incident.
"So you are still angry for that thing?"Dhruv asked.
"No I am not,why would I be angry at you?" I asked him.
"Well because you wanted to go with me but you couldn't" Dhruv said. I glared at him and he just chuckled.
"Okay okay now don't give me these creepy looks" dhruv said while chuckling.
I just looked down being all angry. Why he always manages to get on my nerves everytime. I just sighed in frustration.
"Why you act so angry whenever I am with you?"Dhruv asked.
"Because you always make me angry whenever we are talking" I replied.
"I just wants to have some fun but you always end up being all grumpy" Dhruv said.
"You always did those things which make me angry" I replied.
"But I never did those things intentionally. " Dhruv said.
"And how can I believe you?. When we first met you just forced me to come meet you outside the college. How does it was a good intention?" I asked.
"Well I asked you to come because you didn't have much friends. So I thought to invite you to come to club and enjoy a little bit and not be lonely" Dhruv said.
"If you wanted that then you can simply invite me but you forced me" I said.
"That's because I am Dhruv I don't ask anybody I just tell everyone" Dhruv said. I giggled.
"It isn't funny it's true" Dhruv said and pouted.His cheeks are looking so cute. I don't know what had gotten into me but I pulled his cheeks. He was also taken aback because of my sudden action. But soon he smiled. I quickly put my hand down.
"I did it by mistake" I said.
"Ohh really" Dhruv said.
"Yes now don't think about it much" I replied.
"But I will think about it" Dhruv said.
"Yaah" I huffed. Dhruv chuckled.
"Well I guess I managed to make you angry again" Dhruv said and laughed again.
"That's why I don't want to be with you" I replied.
"You don't want to be with me but still you want to pinch my cheeks" Dhruv said.
"I--" I was saying but Mr. Anand cut me off.
"Students your detention period is over now you all can go home"Mr. Anand said. I stood up and started walking out of the room without giving any other glance to Dhruv.
I reached my locker and took out all my books and stuffed it into my bag. When I closed my locker I felt a figure standing behind me. I turned around and saw Dhruv standing.
" What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well I came here to say goodbye to my new friend"Dhruv replied. I saw around and didn't found any other person.
"I am talking about you"Dhruv said when he saw me looking around.
"But who said that I am your friend?" I asked.
"Well I only give my friends the right to touch my cheeks"Dhruv said.
"You are now going to tease me everytime because of this, aren't you?" I asked.
"Umm...no but only in one condition" Dhruv said.
"What?" I asked.
"Be my friend" Dhruv said.
"Ok sure" I replied.
"Really" Dhruv asked.
"Yes really" I replied.
"I didn't thought that it would be so easy to convince you"Dhruv said.
"Well it's because of two reasons. First I don't think it would be a problem being your friend and second you will not tease me because of it now" I said.
"Ohh" Dhruv said.
"Yeah" I replied.
"You know you should be grateful that your first friend in this college is me" Dhruv said. I smacked his arm playfully and giggled. He also chuckled. Then we both went out from the college.
"Bye kiara" Dhruv said once we reached at the college gate.
"Bye dhruv"I said and I started walking away.
Dhruv is not that bad unlike his friends. He is a good guy. The only problem is that he is under bad influence. Well why I am thinking about these people. I quickly cleared my mind but then suddenly I realized I am forgetting something,I don't know what. Wait I think I forgot my keys inside my room. Now how will I get inside the house. I searched my bag quickly but I was right I didn't have the keys. Now what will I do?. How will I enter inside the house?.
