Chapter 11: Chapter Ten - The Split
-We have a code 112, I repeat a code 112 is in progress onboard the Transcend spacecraft, we have received clearance to kill all prisoners on board by use of chemical weaponry, the O-one chemical...approach to the space station is being made
A warship slowly made its way to the space station, it had cannons that pointed at the target. Spores of the chemical were then released and floated across the vacuum, but exploding when they came in direct contact with the space station forming a large cloud of thick gas causing total obstruction
Some minutes later, the cloud dissipates...a royal ship that was coming from the planet approached the docking area as it was about to board.
The docking process was completed and the doors opened up to reveal the lifeless hallways...tons of guards poured out, going hallway to hallway, examining the bodies that littered the ground...walking close behind them were Yina right beside her was Tye
BOOM
The whole space station shook violently for a slight second, their faces were puzzled as they tried to determine what had caused it
-Sweep
Tye shouted and the guards began splitting into groups going in different directions, she looks over at Yina
-What should do when we see her?
Knowing she was referred to her mother, she said with a serious tone
-Whatever it takes to bring her down
BOOM
Some guards and debris were sent flying towards them...Tye pushed Yina to a nearby corner for protection
-Give me a weapon
She said to Tye with all seriousness in her voice...the look in her eyes was furious. Tye rolled her eyes, then whistled a nearby guard came over to where they both were and she performed a sign with her hands without saying a word the guard rushed off and a few seconds later was back but with an extra gun in his hand
Tye collected it and he rushed down the hallway, she then handed it over to Yina
-You still remember how to use one right
-Never forgot your training
BOOM
This time something flew from down the hall crashing heavily into the nearby wall...dust filled the air for some seconds
Yina coughed as the dust slowly cleared...however her eyes widened and began tearing up and under the breath of her voice she says
-Kirra
She rushed over to her sister's side who was all covered in blood, her eyes staying barely open...she began removing the rubble of debris on her
-Tye help me get her up
She comes over to assist her, both carrying her from each of her hands
BOOM
-There you are
The voice came from behind them...they turned their head over their shoulders and just behind them was Janna, her hands soaked with blood
The remaining guards began shooting at her... Tye quickly looks at Yina
-Take her and both of you should get out
Yina tries to protest but she is immediately cut shot
-Your sister needs medical attention, both of you head take an escape pod and leave now...there is meant to be an automated medic onboard, now go
With that, she lets go of Kirra and turns back facing Janna who is plowing through the guards as she inches closer. She takes the gun strapped to her side and begins firing at her.
Meanwhile, Yina carries her sister away from the fight...they passed more and more guards who were going the other way.
After a moment, they arrive at the escape pod room and she presses a keypad on the wall causing it to open. Inside, there was a cockpit that had a dashboard of controls and a view of the outside, there were two other additional sits by the side and in the center was a circular ring on the ground.
She gently placed Kirra on one of the sits and proceeded to the dashboard, there she reached for her neck and placed her hand into her clothing pulling out her locket and placed on the indicated spot on the board. That made the escape pod turn on, the dashboard lights up...so does the ring in the center
-Welcome, Princess Yina De Casa
A voice came from somewhere on the pod, but not sure where...Yina responded to the onboard AI
-Medical diagnosis
As she said this she placed Kirra on the ground inside the ring and move away from it...some light emitted from the inside of the ring and slowly Kirra was suspended in the air
-Multiple broken bones and damaged tissues detected, performing repairs
-Good, set course for...
BOOM
Before she could say anything, a large explosion was heard just nearby...with that remove and locket from the dashboard and placed it back on her neck. As she was about to turn around to check on her sister, her head was sent crashing into the dashboard and damaging it, she fell to the ground...head spinning and vision blurry
-Several modules damaged, immediate repair recommended
The onboard AI began repeating this a couple of times
She manages to turn around, and she sees Janna...walking towards Kirra. Her eyes were set on Kirra and they slowly turned red as the energy built up, but before she could do anything she wall slammed into by Yina
With her strength, she threw Yina across the pod. Finally remembering, she reached for the gun that Tye had previously given her and aimed...firing it her, they hit her and causing slight stun but with that opportunity Yina ran at her again, slamming into her again and taking her out of pod...both crashing heavily on the ground
Yina quickly getting on top of her and throwing quick punches at her face, however, Janna lets out a burst of energy which sent Yina off her and she grabbed her head by the side, as she begins smashing it to the ground
-I never wanted to hurt you but you made me
A powerful kick to the stomach though lets her lose her grip on her head but doesn't stop her from forming a fist and slamming it on Yina's face...powerful enough that it shattered the ground a bit, who was lucky to move ahead a bit avoid the devastating blow
A laser hit Janna's face which sent her to the ground...Yina turned to see Tye holding the blaster that had shot her, she was bloody and used the wall for support...one arm held the gun while the other seemed badly broken
-YINA GO NOW, I WOULD HOLD HER OFF
-No, I am would stay back for support
She looks back into the pod, at Kirra who was still suspended in the air, unable to move, and witnessed everything
-No
-
She said with all her strength but wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear her...tears rolled down her eyes and she tried to move her body but to no avail
-I would find you...just wait for me
Yina said to her sister
-TAKE OFF
She shouted and the onboard AI picked up her command, the pod sealed up and was shot out of the bay. It quickly accelerated to incredible speeds within seconds
-Navigation module damaged, immediate repair recommended...initializing hyperdrive
As this was happening, Kirra's eyes slowly began closing...the sound around her slowly draining away
-3...2...

-And then I find myself on earth
Everyone around her was silent
-What...did I do or say something wrong?
She said looking at each of their faces for a responses
-No...it...it is just a lot to take in...trying to process everything
-You have been through a lot
Amy said to her as she looked at the commander and back at her
-And for what it is worth...sorry about everything
-Where are we heading to by the way?
Nikko said to the commander
-We are on our way to DC
Kirra lunged forward curiously and looked at Nikko
-Where is that?
