For a private base, the aesthetics really stood out compared to the rest of the area. There were high-rise electric fences that were powered by around a dozen giant wind turbines. The base was extensive with many buildings that were used for bathrooms, dining, and other main necessities. Military vehicles were neatly spread out in rows, seemingly ready to move out at a moment's notice.

There was also a main building that gave access to the most secured part of the base— the underground facility where the President and his family resided. This was also the location where Zane, Hades, Anastasia, and Shemar were imprisoned.

Layla laid calmly atop a battle tank, gazing at the full moon. It was now nighttime and the stars had come out to display their colorful dance. The night air was cool and nostalgic as it brushed against Layla's skin and gently swept her hair.
