Seeing coming with Someone on my shoulder he put down his pen and looked at me waiting for my explanation.
First I threw Baki to the ground, seeing his face and knowing he was the sand ninja who came with his team for the chunin exams, he was slightly surprised as to why did I capture him. Anbu members responsible for the Hokage-sama's security were also surprised how I got in and why did I take a sand ninja as a captive but they didn't have enough strength and rank to ask and just watched the show. Hokage-sama patiently waited for my explanation as I sat on the sofa and started to talk.
" Today just after I left I felt bored and took a walk across the village when I sensed a fight occurring within my sensing range. Slightly curious I moved towards the scene of the fight, at first, I thought it was some ninjas fighting while drunk so I just moved at a casual pace."
Ninja's fighting after few drinks is a common occurrence at first this was also the duty of the Uchiha police, to maintain order and take care of the ninjas who create chaos in the village, Do you really think that the Uchiha clan will take responsibility for only watching and maintaining ordinary people, that would be too stupid for even the arrogant Uchiha clan, their responsibility also takes ninjas under their scope, so if you do any mischief you will be detained, but this was also a point that led to everyone in the village to not like the Uchiha Clan, since who in the world likes police. " You take him to the Interrogation room and at the same time inform Ibiki and Inoichi to meet us there." Hearing the orders the Anbu ninja took Baki away from this room.
After he went out the room fell into silence as Hokage-sama was thinking about a few things and how to handle the current situation while sitting on the sofa thinking about how to proceed with my next plan. Everything with the plan is still ok but how to placate the raging Miko, and how to explain the situation to her. Although she won't ask much I still need to give her a good explanation not as plain as I gave to Hokage-sama and let her be with Yugao for the few it should be good for her to be away from this vortex of upcoming trouble.
Coming back to his senses, Hokage-sama asked me to follow him to the interrogation room. Reaching there, I saw Baki tied to a chair and his upper clothes were removed with some sealing placed on his chest while he was still unconscious, inside the room, Inoichi and Ibiki are talking to each other.
Seeing us approach they bowed to Hokage-sama and nodded to me while I smiled slightly in-return before returning to indifference. Hokage-sama nodded to them and asked Inoichi to start using his jutsu to go through Bali's memory and get some accurate information. Who nodded and with a serious expression stood behind Baki while placing one hand on Baki's head while the other hand on his own forehead.
An hour passed by, we all stood there silently waiting for him to complete his work. While Inoichi's head was full of sweat and his body was slightly shaking, we knew he has reached his limit so we knew the results were coming.
After a few minutes, he couldn't hold on and slumped down, before he could fall I moved and caught him, he nodded in return while rubbing his head which should be aching because of his jutsu. After I placed him on a chair he took drank some water and took some time to organize the information he got from Baki's memories.
In a couple of minutes, he stood organized his language and started to tell the things he saw.
" I couldn't see the situation inside his village like some seal was placed on him when he left the village, I couldn't force it, since if I do his brain would explode and we wouldn't get anything so I circumvent this part and looked into his memories as he left the village to come here."
Hokage-sama's face was filled with some disappointment, seeing Inoichi speeded up his words and told.
" One of the Ninja's in the group he brought is the Jinchiruki of one tail, the guy named Gaara is the Jinchuriki, he is also the youngest son of Fourth Kazekage." Hearing this Both Ibiki and Hokage-sama got surprised and then felt horrified thinking if the one-tail were released inside the village without any prior news then the consequences would be no less than the time Nine-tail got berserk. So Hokage-sama without waiting for other details called the Anbu and asked him to keep Gaara in check, and not to let anyone get in conflict with him, since he knows the tailed beast can take advantage of Jinchuriki emotions and can take control of his body. He also asked him to call for Jonin class meeting quickly.
Anbu heard his words and flashed out to perform the task given.
At this time Hokage-sama looked at Inoichi with a slightly annoyed expression, since he should have said this information at the start instead of talking about some useless seal, Seeing this Inoichi looked at with an expression of 'help' to which I just shrugged my shoulders and returned with hand signs that 'it depends on your next performance'.
Feeling there was a chance of redemption he quickly continued by saying.
" The other two members of Baki's team are also children of Kazekage, With Temari being the oldest and Kankura being the middle child." Hokage-sama with a nonchalant expression seeing this Inoichi continued.
" He has orders to co-operate with Sound-Ninjas that is the village built by Orochimaru, and Kabuto is the spy he placed, both Baki and Kabuto are the representatives of each side and are responsible for negotiating and coming up with tactics for the next operation. Today was another such meeting where both of them talked about their tactics when they felt Hayate spying on them so Baki took action to kill him, luckily Tim was there to save him."
"Except for this, I have also got the information about the area from where Sand-ninja will attack, But thinking that the Chunin exam is within a month and if they are not able to contact Baki during this period it's likely they will change the strategy, but one thing is certain they will definitely use Gaara to attack." Hearing this Finally Hokage-sama nodded to Inoichi while patting his shoulders, watching this Inoichi sighed in relief and said in a slightly urgent tone.
" Hokage-sama I feel that it is better to take Gaara into custody first and then think of how to deal with the Sand-ninja's"
As soon as he said I couldn't help but interject.
" No, you can't do this." Hearing which everyone in the room was surprised but before they could ask I replied.
" Don't forget Orochimaru is waiting in the dark, waiting for an opportunity to deal heavy damage to us."
I continued.
" Think about If you take Gaara into custody now, then there will definitely be big fight big enough to even let One-tail come out, Felling this opportunity Orochimaru will definitely take action to give us a devastating blow, Even if we take Gaara silently it is very easy for Orochimaru to sneak in and release the beast which will do more harm since we will be caught in surprise."
