Chapter 1: 1831
It was a cold winter in the town of Sannetta, the town was almost abandoned due to the coldness of the harsh winter. People moved out since they couldn't stand the cold and the mayor refused to help them, she was greedy and selfish until HE came.
The night was calm and cold as a figure with a classy attire walked into the town, unaffected by the cold. His cane tapped in sync with his walk, his eyes burned through the thickness of the fog that lay before him, his coat and tie were crafted from the burnt ashes of the blackened wasteland he appeared from. His hat looked like it was forged from the darkest depths of hell itself, his pink hair was from the old remnants of a goddesses fire. His face was that of a white Hellhound, a being that could freely walk between heaven and hell.
They walked into the mayor's house as the town stayed dead silent. The mayor, Humfrie, was smoking a cigarette within her personal office until she heard a knock at the door. "Who is it?" She asked as she got up from her chair, taking the cigarette in hand. As she reached the doorknob and opened it. Her cigarette fell from her hand as her eyes opened so wide that they could've fallen out. "Good evening, I'm here for business Humfrie" The wolf said, looking down at the ghostly white human that was the mayor. "Are you here to kill me? W-will you drag my soul to h-hell?" Humfire's words began to stumble out of control. The wolf smiled at the mayor, his white teeth looking like they were a part of his fur. "I need a favor from you" He said in a calm and deceptive voice, the wolf reached into his coat and pulled out a contract, he placed it down on the table. 'W-what is that for...?" The mayor asked the wolf hesitantly.
The wolf's smile grew wider as he brought out a pen "Give this town and the townsfolk to me and I'll give you what you want".
"Do I have to pay in blood or something?" Humfrie asked maybe half jokingly. "Do I look that insane to you?" He said as he stared at her, his glowing amber eyes seemingly burning holes into her skull.
She took the pen as her hand shook with fright. So much that she could immediately faint but something kept her from falling, she signed the contract as the wolf smiled. After she finished signing, the contract rolled up and flew straight into the wolf's paw. He put the rolled up contact into his coat. "I appreciate the cooperation, the last mayor was a bit too upstanding in his position." He smirked "He refused me many times but you were so easily... swayed" He chuckled. "Were you the one who put my father through so much misfortune?" She demanded. "Perhaps" he replied, the villainous smirk returning. "How could you! His life is miserable!" "And now after all that, all he has left is you... and you've betrayed his sacrifice." The wolf smiled as he walked outside, closing the door behind him.
As soon as he left, the quiet town was startled and shook by a sudden earthquake. The ground near the town opened up, looking like a massive portal to hell, readying to unleash its demons but a massive amusement park slowly rose up from the depths. The ground around it molded and formed to merge with the island of hellish carnival fun. A cluster of carnival styled rides formed and fixed themselves up to look anew. Huge walls erupted from the ground, spreading around the park, encasing it within brick walls from the underworld. Small bowls of fire were spread atop the walls as three bigger bowls of fire placed themselves on top of the main gate entrance to the park, the door to the park was made of pure obsidian. The inside of the park was another world, made to give joy to those that enter its gate.
During the summer of 1831, the park was opened for the first time, the townsfolk were in awe at this astonishing new site. The park's walls stood high, looming over the townsfolk, the mayor insisted that everyone had a look at the park which most people nodded and were already at the park. The obsidian door lifted up, defying the physics of nature as the door lifted up into the top of the gate which was small. Everyone saw what was inside, it was amazement and joy in physical form. They all entered and looked at the rides and vendors. But what they didn't know was that the park wasn't there for "their" amusement, it was for him. The obsidian gate fell to the ground, sealing the townsfolk inside as their joy and happiness faded to fear and horror as the wolf from earlier appeared. "Greetings everyone, you've been needed for this park. Your night just got worse for you." The wolf said as the ground broke open in front of him, a mass of black, inky tendrils burst out, grabbing and impaling the townsfolk, dragging them into the ground. Very few escaped the slaughter and ran into the park, only for the wolf the track them down. One of them ran to the fun house only for the entrance to transform into the wolf's head "Going somewhere?" It said as it opened its mouth and went to bite at them. They ran away to the rollercoaster. "I-I need to get out." They panted as they went under the roller coaster. The ride turned on as the lights flickered, disorientating them. "I thought you were enjoying my park, how rude of you." The wolf stepped towards the townsman, his eyes glowed as he swiped his paw across the man's stomach, letting his insides fall out.
A sign grew out of the top of the park's gate, the massive sign shined bright pink and orange for all to see, the mayor could see the sign from her home. She fell on to her chair in shock. "What have I done?" She asked herself as the sign read.
"Kura's WUNDERWORLD."
