Chapter 19: Chores Galore!
Midoriya decided he was hungry so he went to make him something to eat. Bakugou was in the kitchen.
"I'll come back." Midoriya turned to leave
"Get whatever you came in here to get." Bakugou was making himself ramen
"I just assumed... you didn't want to see me after we got in trouble." Midoriya decided to make ramen also
"We live in the same room Nerd." Bakugou took his noodles out of the microwave
"I know, I meant outside our room." Midoriya said
(Our room..?)
Bakugou just rolled his eyes as he started to walk away.
"Hey do you want to put some cayenne in your noodles? It'll make it spicy." Midoriya asked
"We still have some?" Bakugou walked back
"Yea, let me find it for you." Midoriya searched the spice cabinet
Midoriya was on his tippy toes reaching for the cayenne
(I know it's in here somewhere.)
Bakugou just watched him.
(I'm just staring at him. Yea, that's not creepy at all.)
Midoriya found the container and gave it to Bakugou. Bakugou put a lot of cayenne on his noodles.
"Is that not going to be too hot Kacchan?"
"No." Bakugou answered
"Oh. Yea, hehe probably not for you." Midoriya laughed a little
Bakugou handed the cayenne back to Midoriya.
As Midoriya went to grab it their hands touched. Midoriya blushed a little.
(His hand is touching mine and he hasn't killed me yet!)
(Why can't I move? Why don't I want too?)
"Aww how cute, ribbit." Asui said
Midoriya jerked his hand away and rubbed the back of his head.
Bakugou stayed in the same position for a few seconds longer then moved.
"Ha- hey Asui did you need something?"
"It's Tsu and I was getting something to eat, am I interrupting something? I can leave, ribbit." Asui smiled
"It's fine. Get whatever you need." Midoriya told her
"I was leaving." Bakugou sat the cayenne on the counter as he left the kitchen

"Midoriya, what was that about?" Asui asked
"Wha- what do you mean?" Midoriya asked nervously
"I walked in and you two were holding hands~." Asui said teasingly
"What! He was just handing me the cayenne to put it up. We weren't holding hands. Kacchan would never do that with me." Midoriya laughed nervously
"But would you hold his hand?" Asui asked
"He would kill me if I did that!" Midoriya panicked
"I'm just joking Midoriya you don't have to get so worked up, ribbit." Asui smiled
"Oh okay."
(What's happening to me?)
Midoriya put his noodles in the microwave. He put the cayenne up before he left.
Asui made her some food as well.

Midoriya finished eating and was heading back to his room.
He saw the clothes he left on Bakugou's bed.
"I forgot! I need finish those so Kacchan doesn't get mad." Midoriya started folding his clothes again
He was almost finished when Bakugou came back.
Bakugou seemed to be in a better mood. He was of course still angry that they had cleaning duty tomorrow.
"Hey Kacchan, sorry, I just have to put my clothes up then you'll have your bed back." Midoriya smiled
Bakugou looked at Midoriya's clock. It read 9pm.
"Just hurry up." Bakugou sat on Midoriya's bed
There was silence as Midoriya finished putting his clothes up.
"Hey Kacchan, can I asked you a question?"
"Sure." Bakugou rolled his eyes
"What did Kaminari mean when he made that joke that made you mad?"
"Do you really not get it?" Bakugou asked
"N- No." Midoriya said timidly
"I said your computer chair was hurting my ass, then Yellow Hair said "bet that's not the only thing of Midoriya's that hurts your ass." Bakugou was hoping if he said it again Midoriya would get it
(He said my name? I have heard that in well forever.)
"Okay?" Midoriya still didn't get it
"What do those dudes do in the books you read?" Bakugou asked
"They have s... sex, but what does that have to do the Kaminari's joke?" Midoriya asked
"Deku are you really this dumb?" Bakugou facepalmed
(Why the hell am I even explaining this to him.)
"Spark Plug was basically saying if you... did me, it would hurt my ass." Bakugou turned his head to look out the balcony doors
"Tell anyone I said that and I'll end your life."
Midoriya blushed.
"Oh sa- so that's what he meant."
"It's just a shitty joke." Bakugou was still looking out Midoriya's balcony
"Well I can see why you didn't like it. Sorry for tackling you then." Midoriya put the last pair of pants he was holding, up
"Yea do that again and I'll."
"Severely hurt me? I know Kacchan." Midoriya laughed
"Tch-" Bakugou hated when Midoriya could finish his sentences
"Oh wait." Midoriya noticed Bakugou's blanket was a little messed up so he straightened it out
"Okay now I'm done." Midoriya looked proud
"You took so long I'm surprised Christmas isn't here yet." Bakugou got up and went to sit on his bed
"I didn't mean to take so long." Midoriya went to the bathroom to brush his teeth
(Why didn't I bring my night clothes in here? Stupid me.)
Midoriya walked out and noticed Bakugou was changing. Bakugou glanced at Midoriya.
(How does he always catch me when I'm changing?)
"Sorry, I didn't know you were changing." Midoriya immediately closed his eyes
*exhale*
"I have underwear on. Quit freaking out every five seconds." Bakugou put his pants on
"Sorry, I just didn't want you to think I was being weird." Midoriya opened his green eyes
"I said stop saying sorry and you're always weird." Bakugou crossed his arms
Bakugou's pants weren't very tight around hips, so they hung a little low. Midoriya noticed Bakugou's v line because he wasn't wearing a shirt.
*Throb*
(Think about something else, anything else, but that Izuku!)
Bakugou didn't see Midoriya look at his lower area he did however, see him blush.
"Why's your face red again?" Bakugou asked as he sat back down on his bed
"I uh, am a little warm. It's okay one- once I change I'll be fine." Midoriya lied
Midoriya rushed over to the closet to get his night clothes. The he started back to the bathroom.
"Hey Nerd." Bakugou said
"Ye- Yea?" Midoryia turned around cautiously
"Why are you going to the bathroom again?" Bakugou asked
"To, to change?" Midoriya answered him more like a question
"Why don't you change out here? I do, You self conscious or something?"
(That's none of your business Katsuki!)
"Um I don't like changing in front of other people." Midoriya looked embarrassed
(Why is he asking that?)
"But you change in the locker room. What's the difference?"
"Well no one's really looking at me in there. In my room, no matter who it is I always feel like they could be looking at me." Midoriya said not looking at Bakugou
(So he is self conscious even though he's built up some muscle since middle school. B ut he still thinks of himself like the quirkless middle schooler he was and t hat's my damn fault.)
"Tch- I wouldn't look at you if I had a gun to my head." Bakugou got on his phone
(But you were just looking at me Kacchan.)
Midoriya walked to the bathroom and changed.
(Did I really grab a regular size shirt and boxer briefs. Ugh I don't feel like changing again.)
Midoriya walked out of the bathroom again. This time feeling a very uncomfortable.
Bakugou was still on his phone.
(I want him to look at me, but I don't at the same time. Wait, maybe I subconsciously grabbed this to get his attention. That's weird.)
Midoriya walked over to his bed an started making it so it would be made when he wanted to go to sleep.
He stood at the side of the bed, but was turned away when Bakugou finally looked up to see why he was moving around so much.
(That shitty nerd! Why is he wearing something like that in front of me?!)
Midoriya got on his bed leaning over so he could straighten the blankets edge by the wall.
Bakugou was staring straight at Midoriya's butt that his underwear was tightly around.
*Throb*
*Throb*
(Hell no! I am not getting turned on by that damn Nerd again. Again?)
"Deku, hurry the hell up I'm tired." Bakugou tried not to look at Midoriya, but he couldn't help it
Bakugou's face was a little red.
"I'm almost done Kacchan." Midoriya said
"And done." Midoriya got off his bed and faced Bakugou
Midoriya was pulling his shirt down a little to try and cover the front of his underwear.
"What are you doing idiot?" Bakugou asked not looking at him
"I kinda... accidentally grabbed my boxer briefs instead of my regular boxers and they're a little tight."
"So you're covering yourself because you're embarrassed. Why don't you get a bigger freaking shirt or a different pair boxers, stupid." Bakugou still did look at him
"Because I didn't want to change again." Midoriya admitted
"Lazy much." Bakugou looked at him
"A little a guess. Haha." Midoriya laughed a short laugh
Midoriya tried to pull his shirt down again.
"Would you stop! You're gonna stretch your shirt out." Bakugou said
Midoriya flenched and let go of this shirt.
(Yea those are definitely too tight.)
Bakugou gulped. He could see the outline of Midoriya's *ahem* thing.
"I'm gonna turn off the lights now!" Midoriya ran for the light switch the walking back
"Goodnight Kacchan." Midoriya got in bed
"I hope you have nightmares." Bakugou said back
Midoriya just giggled.
They both quickly went to sleep.

*I am here, I am here, I am here!*
Midoryia was hit with a pillow.
"Wha-?"
*I am here! I am here!*
"Turn your damn alarm off before I smash it!" Bakugou shouted
"I'm turning it off, sorry." Midoriya said sassy
*I a-*
Midoriya turned his alarm off and got out of bed.
Bakugou shoved his face back into his pillow and ended up falling back to sleep.
Midoriya yawned then went to get his clothes for the day. He got changed and noticed Bakugou hadn't gotten up yet.
(I should wake him up, right? We're supposed meet Aizawa Sensei this morning. He would be more mad that I didn't wake him up than if I did? Wouldn't he?)
Midoriya walked over to wake Bakugou up.
He squatted down and touched Bakugou's shoulder gently.
"Kacchan wake up we need to go get breakfast." Midoriya said in a sweet voice
Nothing-
"Come on please wake up." Midoriya shook him a little harder
Nothing again-
He exhaled. Bakugou moved so he was laying on his side facing Midoriya.
Midoriya gasped thinking Bakugou had woken up and was going to yell at him, but nothing happened.
"Kacchan?" Midoriya muttered as he looked at Bakugou's face
(I just, wanna-)
Midoriya reached his hand out to caress the side of Bakugou's face. The moment his hand made contact Bakugou woke up.
Bakugou grabbed Midoriya's wrist.
"What are you doing touching my face Deku?" Bakugou looked at Midoriya's hand then at Midoriya
Midoriya went full panic.
(Ohmygodhewokeupwhydididothathe'sgonnahatememorenow!)
"I- I- I was tr- trying to wa- wake you up. I shook your sho- shoulder, but you didn't wake up. Th- then you turned on your side and I saw how pe- peaceful you looked and I just touched your face. I wa- wasn't trying to be weird, I promise. Sorry I won't do it ah-again." Midoriya blurted so fast that Bakugou almost didn't catch all of it
Bakugou sat up still holding on to Midoriya's wrist.
He was looking straight at Midoriya.
Midoriya was terrified.
(He wanted to touch my face, that's kinda weird even for Deku.)
"You could've just said you were trying to wake me up, I didn't need all that other word soup crap." Bakugou let go of Midoriya's arm
Midoriya shook his head and blinked a couple of times.
"What?" Midoriya was confused
"Get outta the way, I need to get up."
"Okay right i'm moving now." Midoriya didn't know what to think
(He didn't yell at me what's happening?)
"Thanks for the play by play I didn't need."
Midoriya just sat in the floor crisscrossed.
Bakugou changed, but Midoriya was too lost in thought to notice.
(What's wrong with the idiot now?)
"Deku get up, we gotta get breakfast."
"Why didn't you yell at me?" Midoriya asked out of the blue as he sat on the floor
Bakugou rolled his eyes
"What are you talking about Nerd?"
"When you woke up you didn't yell at me you always yell at me when I get to close to you. So why didn't you." Midoriya pointed out
(He's right, but I just didn't feel like yelling plus he technically didn't do anything wrong, maybe a little creepy.)
"Because I didn't feel like yelling this morning, but I can. Now get the hell up and let's go!" Bakugou waves for his to hurry up
"No don't yell, it's fine just forget what I said." Midoriya stood up and followed Bakugou out the door
The two met Kaminari and Kirishima on their way to get breakfast. All four then returned to their rooms to brush their teeth and finally they found Aizawa in the teachers lounge.
Aizawa told Bakugou and Midoriya they had to do things like vacuum the living area, take out the trash, sweep and mop the kitchen also make sure the counters are clean and wash any dirty dishes. Kaminari and Kirishima had to mow the law side the building and trim any bushes or hedges that need it.
"Why the hell do they get less work than I do!" Bakugou asked Aizawa
"Less? We have to mow the whole building's lawn." That'll take ages!" Kaminari said
"Because I told you too." Aizawa got back in his yellow sleeping bag
"Ugh!" Bakugou stomped out.

Midoriya and Bakugou decided that one would do all the chores in the living room and the other would do the chores for the kitchen. Then they both would take out the trash.
Midoriya got the living area. So he vacuumed everything, straightened the furniture and fixed the cushions. He wiped down the coffee table and organized all the magazines into a pile on top of the table. He picked up any trash that was laying around, cleaned the windows, and fixed one of the curtain rods that he noticed was broken. He also went in to the dining room and straightened all the chairs and wiped down the table.
Bakugou got the kitchen. So he swept and mopped the floor then wiped down all the counters. He washed the few dishes that were in the sink and put them away. He cleaned the inside of the microwave and washed the coffee pot. (Why do we have such an old coffee maker?)
Bakugou also organized the fridge and freezer. He threw out any thing that was out of date or smelled gross.
Kirishima and Kaminari decided they would take opposite sides of the building.
So Kaminari start with mowing the the he would trim the bushes and hedges on his side. He also wiped the windows on his side. Kirishima started by trimming the bushes and hedges the he mowed. He cleaned the windows on his side too. When they were done with that they picked up any trash they saw on the sidewalk.

Kirishima saw a, what he thinks is little girl walking strangely by the front gate. She suddenly fell forward.
[I hope she's okay!]
"Hey, Denki I'll be right back." Kirishima dropped the bag he was holding
"Okay man." Kaminari continued what he was doing
Kirishima jogged over to the girl.
He looked around for the little girls parents or someone that might know her, but there was no one in site.
He carefully rolled her onto her back.
"Um, are you okay?" He shook her shoulder gently
She was wearing blue rimmed glasses, but they broke. A shard cut her left eyelid, but wouldn't scar.
Kirishima removed the glasses and put what was left of them in his pocket.
She didn't wake up.
He checked her wrist for a pulse.
[Her heart's beating it's a little slow, but it's there. I bet she hit her head pretty hard too. It's awful hot out here maybe she got too hot, I'll take her inside then tell Aizawa Sensei so we can find her parents.] Kirishima picked the little girl up and carried her toward the building
"Where did she come from?" Kaminari asked as Kirishima was waking towards him
"Don't know. There was no one with her and she won't wake up, but she's breathing." Kirishima continued to walk to the building
Kaminari joined him.
"Hope she's okay." Kaminari was concerned
"Me to." Kirishima looked at her with a worried look
Kaminari opened the door for him.
Kirishima walked inside and immediately took the little girl to the couch and laid her down gently. He put one of the couch pillows under her head.
Bakugou walked in the room from throwing out the trash and saw Kirishima, Kaminari, and a little girl.
He rolled his eyes.
"Who did you two kidnap?" Bakugou asked
"We didn't kidnap anyone! Who do you think we are?" Kaminari got defensive
"She was walking outside the gate then she face planted. I thought maybe she got too hot and passed out." Kirishima explained
"Where are her damn parents? They worthless or something?" Bakugou walked over to her
He put his hand on her forehead.
(She feels pretty warm. Maybe Shitty Hair was right. Hm... she looks familiar.)
"I don't know, there was no one on the street. It was completely empty." Kirishima answered
Midoriya made it back from throwing away the trash he had.
"Why are you hovering over a little girl." Midoriya asked walking over
"Don't make it sound weird Midoriya." Kaminari said
"Is she okay?" Midoriya asked at he walked closer to the couch
"Obviously not, if she's passed out on the freaking couch Deku!" Bakugou said loudly, but lowered his voice towards the end of his sentence
"Sorry, dumb question. What happened?" Midoriya asked
"Kirishima saw her walking pass the front gate then she fell down. He thinks she got too hot. Her parents or anyone for that matter weren't around." Kaminari gave Midoriya the rundown
"She felt warm when I put my hand on her forehead, so Weird Hair might actually be right." Bakugou said
"It's possible she had a heat stroke. Has anyone told a teacher?" Midoriya asked
"No I'm going to go tell Aizawa Sensei right now wanna come with." Kirishima asked
"Yea let me get her a cold rag first." Midoriya said racing to the kitchen with his quirk
He came back a second later and put the rag carefully on her neck.
"Why didn't you put it on her forehead." Kirishima asked
"Because you have major arteries in your neck so if you put something cold there it will cool the blood that's circulating to your head. Making your temp decrease faster then laying the cold rag on your forehead." Midoriya answered
"It's weird that you know that Midoriya." Kaminari laughed
"Sorry?" Midoriya didn't really know what to say
"Ok let's go." Kirishima said
He and Midoryia left promptly.
"I guess we wait?" Kaminari sat down on other end of the couch
"Guess so, Dunce face."
(She seems familiar, but I don't know where I've seen her before.)
"I'm gonna watch tv." Kaminari grabbed the remote
Bakugou sat on the floor near the girl.

Kirishima and Midoryia made it to classroom 1-A and knocked.
"Come in." A voice said
Kirishima and Midoryia entered the room.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we have a small problem." Kirishima said
"Of course you do. What is it?" Aizawa asked
"I think it would be better to explain on the way." Kirishima said
"We'll need Recovery Girl too." Midoryia added
"Fine i'll call her."
Aizawa called Recovery Girl and told her to meet them at class 1-A's living area
"Finish the work sheet I just gave you and turn it in on the podium. After everyone's done you're dismissed for lunch." Aizawa told them then left
"This better be an emergency." Aizawa said to the two
"It is. There was a little girl outside the gate. I saw her walking kinda slow and wobbly then she fell. I took her inside because when checked on her she didn't wake up. There was no one with her. Midoriya put a cool rag on her. Bakugou and Denki are watching her at the moment." Kirishima explained the situation to Aizawa
"Sounds like a legitimate reason. Thank you for alerting me. We better hurry." Aizawa said

They made it to the building, but when they got to the door they heard yelling.
"Who's yelling?" Kirishima frowned
"Sounds like Bakugou." Aizawa said
Midoriya and Kirishima entered the room first.
"What's going on?" Kirishima asked Kaminari who was huddled in a corner
"She woke up." Was all Kaminari said
"The sound of two people yelling was coming from the kitchen." Aizawa, Kirishima, and Midoriya went to investigate
Midoriya went in first, then Kirishima, and last was Aizawa.
Bakugou was yelling at the little girl as she sat on the counter.
"First you want a grill cheese, then you want peanut butter and jelly, now you just want toast. Make up you're damn mind!" Bakugou shouted
"Kacchan don't yell at her." Midoriya intervened
"Well if you would hurry up I wouldn't change my mind. Is you fault for taking too long!" She yelled back
"I don't have to make you anything stupid brat! How about you starve!" Bakugou yelled at her
"Hey dude she just a little girl, don't yell so much." Kirishima interrupts
"Stay out of it Dumb Hair!" Bakugou said
"Who you calling a little girl!" The girl jumped off the counter frowning at Kirishima
Midoriya was speechless.
"Okay, I've had enough." Aizawa said as Midoriya and Kirishima moved out of his way
"Bakugou go in the common room." Aizawa told him
Bakugou stomped out.
"Are you okay." Aizawa asked the little girl as he crouched down to her level
"Yes." She answered
<<He kinda looks like Eraserhead, but his hair isn't grey.>>
"How old are you?" He asked
"I'm six." She answered
"Do you know where you are and where your parents are?"
"I don't know where I am, but I know where my parents are."
"Do you know how to contact them?"
"No."
"What are their names?" Aizawa asked
"I can't tell you." She didn't trust him
"Why not?"
"Because you might be a villain. I don't want to put them in danger. Do you think I'm stupid?" She said sassy
"You're a smart kid and I can assure you I'm not a villain." Aizawa told her
"That's exactly what a villain would say." She said
"You're right, but I'm the pro hero Eraserhead so..."
She gasped.
"Wow, that's so awesome!"
<<So he is Eraserhead!>>
"Now, will you tell me?" Aizawa asked
"Nope. I have couple of questions for you though." She said
≠ Wonder why she won't tell me who her parents are? ≠
"What?" Aizawa waited for her questions
"Where are my glasses and what year is it?" She asked
≠She doesn't know what year it is.≠
"Oh I have your glasses, but their kinda broken." Kirishima pulled them out of his pocket
"It's 20** shouldn't you know that?" Aizawa asked her
"I just forgot. Um can you fix my glasses? I can't really see anything. I'm nearsighted and farsighted." She asked
"I'll see what I can do." Aizawa said
Kirishima handed the glasses to Aizawa.
"So you're not going to tell me who your parents are?" Aizawa pressed her for more information
"No, they told me I shouldn't." She crossed her arms
"Why?" He asked
"I can't tell you that either." She said
"You have to tell me something." Aizawa said
"The reason I can't is because it can affect the future." She said
"I see... For now that's all the questions I have. You seem to be a very smart for your age." He pointed out
"Thank you that's what my dad tells me." She smiled
"There should be a lady in the living room by now, she's a nurse. You need to let her take a look at you." Aizawa stood up
"Okay Aizawa." She said
"You know my name?" Aizawa asked suspicious
"Yep, you're a pro hero!" The little girl walked with Aizawa
<<That was close.>>
They walked out of the kitchen.
"Did he just interrogate her?" Kirishima asked Midoriya
"I... I think he did." Midoriya laughed
The two walked out of the kitchen and into he living room.
