Chapter 2: Opening Scene
Tale 1
Introduction
"Welcome Welcome to our 13th October Anniversary Performance!"
it is a rather chilly year with all the snow isn't it my wonderful audience..?"
A cheerful man dressed similar to a sad clown was saying.
He had olive green eyes, dark brown skin to the point where it is almost black. He wore a white mask that covered half of his face and had gold ornate designs. His hair was short light green and slightly curled.
His attire featured a long, sparkling gold and white cape. (The outside of the cape is gold while the inside is white.) The cape has a big folded collar that's purple on the inside and a red and black pin with a gold chain held the cape in place.
Under it he wore a white suit top and a long tailed tailcoat. The inner lining of the tailcoat is a shimmery purple. The coat is decorated with gold edge lining along with gold buttons and patterns on the tails.
He also wore slim white suit pants with a light purple pattern going down both legs leg in a vertical stripe with wide purple belt and a gold chain attached to it.
On his feet were grey high-heel boots with the top of the boots folded out, revealing a purple inner-lining tied with dark purple laces and gold accenting around the edge.
His suit also featured white tie made of white triple layered frills. A darker piece of fabric hangs off the front. The edge of the fabric is lined with gold.
As an accessory he had a pair of white gloves with gold decoration on the top. And a wide-brimmed gold edge-lining white hat with small gold decorations attached to it and multiple black feathers stuck to the side of the hat next to some black roses.
"As always I am your host, Azure Poltergeist"
He stood in what looked like a grand old fashioned theatre.It featured a huge ornate black chandelier, two gray/ dark brown pillars forming a gate, adorned with candle sticks and wrapped with black ribbons. There are also ornate black candle holders tiered and spread out.
There is a thick dark red curtain with bronze and gold colored ropes with tassles and a golden trim. The floor is a brown and appears wooden. The is an infinite row of seats with light red cushions.
This male stood in the center of the stage serving the role of the emcee.
"As you know we are the "Crimson Circus" of the Winter Moon Troupe!
First let's announce our performance this year"
The Crimson Circus was the name of a division of the Winter Moon Troupe.
The Winter Moon Troupe mainly consisted of various performing arts. 'The Silent Blue Shadows' was the orchestral group which specialized in music. The Silver Mask was a group of ballet dancers but they only performed in the spring. The Crimson Circus was not the actual circus among the many divisions of art. It was simply the name although at times the members did resemble stereotypical circus performers.
A woman soon appeared.
She had hair in a light shade of bubblegum pink with black undersides and streaks framing her face. She has dark purple eyes and her eyeshadow starts with a silver in the crease, a deep violet above that and under the brow is finished out with a shimmery white. Her lips are shiny and are deep mauve. Her eyebrows are a medium gray colour.
The Dress is a Mermaid silhouette dress with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with long sleeved mesh. The bodice is black with Pink spiderweb embroidery down the front. It's trimmed out with a black and white striped ribbon that gives way to a crocheted spiderweb overlaying three layers of pink fabric with tulle overlay.
She accessorizes with a black skeletonized spiderweb tophat pinned in her hair. Over her dress she wears a tied pink mesh ruffle with a black and white striped bowtie. Behind that sits a spiderweb high neck cape that she can extend out with her arms. She wears a pair of pink white and black oxford heels. She also has a pink parasol with black embroidery.
She introduced herself as Vandala Doubloons.
Let our show begin!
Vandala Doubloons explained that they will hold a performance a day for thirteen days. A show per day to tell a new story.
A woman wearing clothes identical to Vandala's outfit but a different color scheme.
Her hair is a shade of muted aqua blue with glossy grey undersides and streaks framing her face. She has deep dark purple eyes her eyebrows are a medium gray colour. Her eyeshadow starts with a silver in the crease, a deep silver color above that and under the brow is finished out with a shimmery white. Her lips are shiny pink.
The Dress is a Mermaid silhouette dress with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with long sleeved mesh. The bodice is black with teal spiderweb embroidery down the front. It's trimmed out with a black and white striped ribbon that gives way to a crocheted spiderweb overlaying three layers of muted aqua blue fabric with tulle overlay.
She accessorizes with a black skeletonized spiderweb tophat pinned in her hair. Over her dress she wears a tied muted aqua mesh ruffle with a black and white striped bowtie.
Behind that sits a spiderweb high neck cape that she can extend out with her arms. She wears a pair of turquoise, gold and black oxford heels. She also has a teal umbrella with black embroidery.
She introduced herself as Vandala's twin sister, Veritas Doubloons.
Veritas told them that she, like her sister, had a role in the theatre troupe and would be staring in several plays. Although there would be a few she didn't have a major role in.
There first story was The Night of the Ball . It was about a girl named Rayes who suffered from the toxic friendship she had at her prestigious new school.
After their brief introduction, the curtains closed. The audience gave a light applause. they had seen many of their other plays even though they only came for thirteen days every October.
