Chapter 3: Cake icing

As Zoe gets up early at 07:00 am she turns over to her left and realizes that she had slept with Liam, she was clueless as to what had happened the previous night. She blinks twice and sees that she had finally got what she had desired for a long period of time, the man of her dreams. "Oh my word, he is the perfect daydream." she utters to herself as she stares at Liam while he is sleeping silently. "I remember him saying that it's time we push forward, I feel like I'm complete, I guess I can kiss my days of being single and lonely behind." she thinks to herself with a big broad smile on her face, her face glowing due to being overwhelmed. She finally gets out of the bed and opens the curtains having a clear view outside. "How about I make some coffee?" she says to herself making her way to the kitchen. "Looks like we have a new visitor." says Fidelia. "Hey, you guys are up early!" Irene exclaims. "Didn't think you would bring a guest over." Irene continues. "Yeah, seems like Liam and I are starting a new chapter!" Zoe says happily. "I thought Liam was dating Regina!" they both exclaim simultaneously. "Holy shit!" Diana exclaims overhearing the conversation. "I mean great, I'm flabbergasted!" she adds. "Oh no, Liam and I um..." says Zoe. "If it's not what I'm thinking." Cody replies. "You're official!" says Diana with a surprised look on her face. "And we shared a smooch!" Zoe adds. "Okay!" Cody, Diana and Irene exclaim simultaneously. Suddenly there is an awkward moment of silence, that's when Irene starts making her way out as she was off to work. "Well, I guess I should start leaving, business calls." says Irene. "Awesome!" says Diana. "Later!" says Cody. "I'm thinking of stopping by at the grocery store, we need them salad greens." Irene said before closing the door. "Salad greens huh? All that's left is some cucumber." said Cody. "I ate it." said Diana. "Oh and do get olives, that's what makes it a real salad." said Cody. "Cool!" said Irene. "Great!" Diana responds. "See you around!" Irene exclaimed. "Later alligator!" they all shouted simultaneously as soon as Irene shut the door. Zoe starts preparing a dish for Liam who was still sleeping in his bedroom and makes a smoothie for herself as she hadn't had any appetite. She then left the blender on the table for someone else to use cause at that time usually in the morning smoothies were everyone's favourite. "So... what's everyone doing today?" Diana asks as she takes a cider out of the fridge. "Nope, nothing planned as yet." says Cody rolling his eyes. "Make way..." says Zoe making her way to Liam's bedroom as soon as she had finished preparing a smoothie and breakfast in bed for Liam. "Excuse me." she adds as she walks up the stairs. A while later they remind themselves that Irene has left the scene. "I can't believe you guys love drinking beer, that stuff tastes gross!" says Diana with a disgusted look on her face. "God made all the six days and then on the seventh he said everyone should grab a beer." says Cody. "Yeah whatever." says Diana. "Hey all, just look out for the pizza dude he'll be here in any minute." says Irene. "So do I get any ass tonight?" Cody asks. "Come on, I'll be the price." he adds. "Not tonight, I'm working late shift." Diana responds. Cody then gives her a spank on the butt. "Hehe." Diana giving out a giggle. "Catch you later!" says Diana as she enters the door, making her way to the car...
